LMDS is one kind of fixed broadband wireless access network. It uses radio spectrum between 10GHz and 40GHz to transmit voice, video, and data signals within small cell 3-10 miles in diameter. This paper proposes some key technical scenarios to support videoconferencing services transported on LMDS. Firstly, two kinds of typical LMDS lower layer standards made by DAVIC and 802.16 separately are discussed from the angle of supporting video conferencing services. Then, H.323 is studied and recommended as the standard of LMDS video conferencing system. And some strategies are proposed to support H.323 services on LMDS. After that, IP multicast technology, the key supporting technology of H.323, is studied from the angle of running on LMDS. Scenarios for IGMP, RMTP protocol running on LMDS are suggested and analyzed with Markov network queuing theory. The technical scenarios proposed by this paper make use of the transporting property of LMDS to support LMDS videoconferencing system more effectively.  相似文献

Multi-address coding (MAC) lidar is a novel lidar system recently developed by our laboratory. By applying a new combined technique of multi-address encoding, multiplexing and decoding, range resolution is effectively improved. In data processing, a signal enhancement method involving laser signal demodulation and wavelet de-noising in the downlink is proposed to improve the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of raw signal and the capability of remote application. In this paper, the working mechanism of MAC lidar is introduced and the implementation of encoding and decoding is also illustrated. We focus on the signal enhancement method and provide the mathematical model and analysis of an algorithm on the basis of the combined method of demodulation and wavelet de-noising. The experimental results and analysis demonstrate that the signal enhancement approach improves the SNR of raw data. Overall, compared with conventional lidar system, MAC lidar achieves a higher resolution and better de-noising performance in long-range detection.  相似文献

In wireless networks, MAC scheduling methods can be divided into two types according to the implementation model: centralized and distributed scheduling. By reasonably designing MAC scheduling policies, both centralized and distributed schedulers can ensure a reliable throughput capacity region, i.e., realizing throughput-guaranteed. However, it can be found that some existing throughput-guaranteed scheduling schemes cannot further ensure bounded end-to-end average delay, and the reason for this phenomenon has not been deeply analyzed. In practical communication networks, throughput and delay are equally important. Based on this idea, the existing MAC scheduling strategies are investigated systematically in this paper from two aspects of throughput and delay, and their performances are evaluated and compared through both theoretical analysis and simulation experiments. The work of this paper provides a theoretical basis for the improvement of MAC scheduling technology in the next-generation wireless networks.  相似文献

The MAC discretization scheme for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations is interpreted as a covolume approximation to the equations. Using some results from earlier papers dealing with covolume error estimates for div-curl equation systems, and under certain conditions on the data and the solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations, we obtain first-order error estimates for both the vorticity and the pressure.

The purpose of this paper is to validate a new highly parallelizable direction splitting algorithm. The parallelization capabilities of this algorithm are illustrated by providing a highly accurate solution for the start‐up flow in a three‐dimensional impulsively started lid‐driven cavity of aspect ratio 1 × 1 × 2 at Reynolds numbers 1000 and 5000. The computations are done in parallel (up to 1024 processors) on adapted grids of up to 2 billion nodes in three space dimensions. Velocity profiles are given at dimensionless times t = 4, 8, and 12; at least four digits are expected to be correct at Re = 1000. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

针对以太网技术在高速图像传输中常见的带宽利用率低,传输协议受限的问题,设计了一种基于可编程逻辑器件FPGA实现千兆以太网传输系统的方案,分析了基于IEEE802.3标准的以太网帧格式和循环冗余校验(CRC),实现了MAC数据包的封装和PHY芯片88E1111的配置,完成了千兆网络系统的设计和高速数据的传输。结果表明,该方案具有成本低,传输速率快且传输协议不受限制的优势,并最终成功应用于某水下高速图像传输系统中。  相似文献

This review, covering reports published from 2002 to August 2010, shows how aptamers have made significant contributions in the improvements of microfluidic chips for affinity extraction, separations and detections. Furthermore, microfluidic chip methods for studying aptamer-target interactions and performing aptamer selections have also been summarized. The control of pesticides in surface, drinking and groundwater is nowadays a real necessity. In the European Community, their concentration must comply with the established parametric and environmental quality standards (EQSs). Regarding the new legislation, this article updates the information concerning the monitoring of pesticides and the technical specifications for their measurement in water samples where ultra-sensitive analytical methods are required. For some compounds, like pesticides, there is still a need to improve the performance of the existing methods. High sensitive techniques like gas chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (GC–MS/MS) and liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC–MS) have been developed. However, for most of the substances present at trace and ultra-trace levels the extraction and preconcentration steps are so far essential for their detection. Advances at a micro scale have been made and different types of microextractions are being developed. Liquid-phase microextraction (LPME) is an example. The study of this technique has increased in the last years and some innovations have been recently reported for pesticides water analysis. This article reviews the new developed LPME-based techniques and compares its performance with the analytical specifications established for pesticides water monitoring. The results show that LPME-based techniques can be a promising tool to improve the nowadays performance of methods used in pesticides water control.  相似文献

End-stage renal diseases are affecting many patients and as a result, demand to receive dialysis service is growing annually. Morbidity and mortality rates are reported to be higher in comparison with healthy humans. The reason is reported to be the hemoincompatiblity of blood purification membranes, which hinders patients’ lives. Activation of different immune systems in the body, in case of blood-membrane interaction, results in several side effects, of which cardiovascular shocks have been mentioned to be a major one. Efforts to solve this issue have resulted in different generations of dialysis membranes. Zwitterionic immobilized membranes are the latest (third) generation, which owns a higher degree of hemocompatiblity with more stability of immobilized structures. This critical review intends to cover recent efforts conducted over the zwitterionization of polymeric membrane surfaces with the goal of improving hemocompatibility. Different aspects of third-generation membranes are discussed for a better understanding of the current gap and gathering the knowledge to further develop the field. Accordingly, this critical survey provides an in-depth understanding of blood purification membranes zwitterionization for paving the way for the optimum enhancement of hemodialysis membrane hemocompatibility.  相似文献
