复合体系方法测量液体力学谱

本文介绍了采用复合体系，测量得到凝聚态物质从固态到液态连续变化力学谱的一种新的实验方法。以簧振动为例，给出了解析的计算公式，以及应用条件。通过进一步综合分析，得到具有更广应用范围的近似公式，可以近似应用于其他不同的振动模式，如低频扭摆。应用新的测量方法，给出了典型小分子玻璃材料甘油和碳酸丙稀从玻璃态到液态的力学谱，观察到甘油和碳酸丙稀玻璃化转变、碳酸丙稀的再结晶、熔化和挥发的过程；测量得到挥发过程中水的质量随时间精确变化的曲线。最后，本文给出了新方法的一些应用展望。     

Global fit analysis including the ν9 + ν4 − ν4 hot band of ethane: Evidence of an interaction with the ν12 fundamental

The ν₉ fundamental band of ethane occurs in the 12 μm region. It is the strongest band of ethane in a terrestrial window and is commonly used for the identification of ethane in the Jovian planets. The ν₉ + ν₄ − ν₄ band occurs in the same region; neither can be analysed as an isolated band, since both are embedded in the torsional bath of the ground vibrational state. We report here two global fit models including data from both of these bands as well as the ν₃ fundamental and the ν₄, 2ν₄ − ν₄, and 3ν₄ torsional transitions. The first is restricted to −5 ? KΔK ? 15 in the hot band and gives an excellent fit to the included data. Three resonant interactions are identified in this fit—a Coriolis interaction with two resonant cases between the ν₉ torsional stack and that of the ground vibrational state (gs) and a resonant Fermi interaction between the ν₃ fundamental and the gs. Hot band lines with KΔK < −5 are influenced by a fourth perturbation, with a crossing at −11 < KΔK < −10, which has been attributed to an interaction with the ν₁₂ fundamental. A second fit, demonstrating a promising treatment of this interaction, is also presented.     

Fiber-optic reflex sensor for in-line production measurement

The paper describes experiments concerning distance measurement with fiber-optic sensor and improvement of the measurement principle. The sensor probe was well-designed with a small structure and multi-function. The novel optical fiber probe arrangement as well as the possibilities of use for complex measurement problems are explained using the measurement of an internal screw thread as an example. The experimental results show that the measurement uncertainty of the thread minor diameter can reach ±10 μm, and the stability of the measurement system is better than 0.07%.     

Explicit Formulas for Generalized Action–Angle Variables in a Neighborhood of an Isotropic Torus and Their Application

Different versions of the Darboux–Weinstein theorem guarantee the existence of action–angle-type variables and the harmonic-oscillator variables in a neighborhood of isotropic tori in the phase space. The procedure for constructing these variables is reduced to solving a rather complicated system of partial differential equations. We show that this system can be integrated in quadratures, which permits reducing the problem of constructing these variables to solving a system of quadratic equations. We discuss several applications of this purely geometric fact in problems of classical and quantum mechanics.     

Cochran's statistical theorem for outer inverses of matrices and matrix quadratic forms

We extend the matrix version of Cochran's statistical theorem to outer inverses of a matrix. As applications, we investigate the Wishartness and independence of matrix quadratic forms for Kronecker product covariance structures.

The rule of affine similitude for the force coefficients of a body oscillating in a uniformly stratified fluid

 This paper presents a study on affine similitude for the force coefficients of an arbitrary body oscillating in a uniformly stratified fluid. A simple formula is derived that gives a relation between the force coefficients for a body oscillating in homogeneous and uniformly stratified ideal fluids. In particular, it implies the existence of a universal nondimensional similitude criterion for a family of affinely similar bodies, namely, the bodies that can be transformed into each other by vertical dilation of the initial coordinate system. Theoretical results are verified by experiments with a set of spheroids having different length-to-diameter ratios. The experimental technique for evaluation of the frequency-dependent force coefficients is based on Fourier analysis of the time-history of damped oscillation tests. Using the gradients of temperature and internal parameters in Continuum ThermodynamicsIntroduction des gradients de température et de paramètres internes en Thermodynamique des Milieux Continus

In this paper, the possibility of using the gradients of the temperature and of the internal parameters as additional state variables in Continuum Thermodynamics is considered. The expressions of the two principles are discussed and Clausius–Duhem inequality is derived under an appropriate statement of the internal entropy production. Toda Chains in the Jacobi Method

We use the Jacobi method to construct various integrable systems, such as the Stäckel systems and Toda chains, related to various root systems. We find canonical transformations that relate integrals of motion for the generalized open Toda chains of types B _n, C _n, and D _n.
