A mixture of 29 organic acids (OAs) occurring in urine was analyzed by capillary electrophoresis (CE) with capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection (C4D) and UV photometric detection. The optimized analytical system involved a 100 cm long polyacrylamide-coated capillary (50 μm i.d.) and the background electrolyte of 20 mM 2-morpholinoethanesulfonic acid (MES)/NaOH + 10% (v/v) methanol, pH 6.0 (pH is related to the 20 mM MES/NaOH buffer in water). The LOD values obtained by C4D for the OAs which do not absorb UV radiation range from 0.6 μM (oxalic acid) to 6.8 μM (pyruvic acid); those obtained by UV photometry for the remaining OAs range from 2.9 μM (5-hydroxy-3-indoleacetic acid) to 10.2 μM (uric acid). The repeatability of the procedure developed is characterized by the coefficients of variation, which vary between 0.3% (tartaric acid) and 0.6% (5-hydroxy-3-indoleacetic acid) for the migration time and between 1.3% (tartaric acid) and 3.5% (lactic acid) for the peak area. The procedure permitted quantitation of 20 OAs in a real urine sample and was applied to monitoring of the occurrence of the inborn metabolic fault of methylmalonic aciduria.  相似文献

The effect of micromixing on the dynamic behavior of continuous solution copolymerization tank reactors is evaluated both experimentally and theoretically. For this purpose, copolymerization reactions of styrene and divinylbenzene are carried out in a lab‐scale polymerization system, composed of two tank reactors in series, to provide experimental data of conversion and molar masses for analysis of micromixing effects. Besides, a detailed micromixing model, based on a dynamic population balance approach, is developed and solved with the method of characteristics, to investigate the micromixing effects on the dynamic behavior of conversion and molar masses in copolymerization reactions. Particularly, results show for the first time that micromixing effects can be important to explain the dynamic behavior of polymerization reactions performed in bulk, but are not sufficient to explain the whole set of available experimental data, which are much more sensitive to modification of residence time distributions and macromixing.  相似文献

This article describes the homopolymerization of isocyanatoethyl methacrylate (IEM) and its copolymerization with methyl methacrylate (MMA) in acetonitrile in the presence of 2,2′‐azobisisobutyronitrile. The constant characteristic of IEM polymerizability (kp2/kte = 128 × 10?3 L mol?1 s?1, where kp is the propagation constant and kte is the termination constant) was determined. The study of IEM reactivity toward MMA gave ratios of 0.88 and 1.20 for IEM and MMA, respectively. The physicochemical properties of the IEM homopolymer and IEM/MMA copolymers were also studied. The glass‐transition temperature of poly(isocyanatoethyl methacrylate) was found to be 47 °C. From the thermogravimetric analysis of the weight‐loss percentage corresponding to the first wave of the thermogram, it was shown that the degradation mechanism of the IEM/MMA copolymers started from the isocyanate group. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 本文根据统计学中的最小均方差估计理论推导出非线性的IEM(NLIEM)模型公式,并综合实验数据确定了模型系数.这个模型考虑了标量场大尺度运动非均匀性,Re数以及Sc数对混合速率的影响.最后分别利用NLIEM和IEM模型对H2/空气湍流射流扩散火焰进行了计算,与实验结果的比较表明新模型有较大的优越性.  相似文献
