Globale und regionale Klimapolitik

Climate change is a global challenge. So far, global agreements fail to limit the temperature rise to 2°C or 1,5°C. With its products as well as its innovative production processes, the chemical industry makes a decisive contribution to climate protection. Appropriate regional and global policy frameworks are indispensable in order for the chemical industry to fully exploit its innovation potential. EU regional measures should not be an additional burden to the most efficient producers compared to their global competitors.
