Chemical investigation of the EtOAc extract of the mangrove-derived endophyte Corynespora cassiicola, isolated from Laguncularia racemosa (Combretaceae), afforded five new secondary metabolites, named coryoctalactones A–E (15). The structures of the new compounds were determined on the basis of 1D- and 2D-NMR spectroscopy as well as high-resolution mass spectrometry. The absolute configuration of the side chain in 13 and 5 were tentatively deduced based on biogenetic consideration in comparison with xestodecalactones, previously isolated from C. cassiicola. All isolated compounds were evaluated for their antimicrobial, cytotoxic, and antitrypanosomal activities.  相似文献

Roquefortine C ( 1 ) and 11‐bromoroquefortine C ( 4 ) were isolated from Penicillium chrysogenum, an endophyte obtained from green leaves of Coffea arabica, during induction experiments by adding halide salts to the culture media. In our studies, 11‐bromoroquefortine D and 11‐bromo‐17‐hydroxybromoroquefortine C were identified by LC/HR‐MS. It is the first time that bromoroquefortine C and D are described as halogenated natural products. These halo alkaloids were shown to be biosynthesized from brominated tryptophan as the biosynthetic precursor. Cytotoxic and antibiotic assays using roquefortine C and 11‐bromoroquefortine C showed that the presence of the 11‐Br substituent impairs some biological activities of this alkaloid.  相似文献

Abstract

A new γ-pyrone derivative, acrepyrone A (1), and three known sorbicillinoids, trichodimerol (2), dihydrotrichodimerol (3) and tetrahydrotrichodimerol (4) were isolated from an endophytic fungus, Acremonium citrinum SS-g13, harboured in the roots of the Chinese medicinal plant Fructus mori. Their structures were determined by analysing MS, NMR, and ECD data. Compound 1 was evaluated for its cytotoxic effect, antibacterial activity and quorum sensing inhibitory potential.  相似文献

Two new lanostane triterpenes, 3β‐acetoxy‐15α‐hydroxylanosta‐8,24‐dien‐21‐oic acid ( 1 ) and 3β‐acetoxylanosta‐7,9(11),24‐trien‐21‐oic acid ( 2 ), along with the four known analogs, 3 – 6 , were isolated from the culture broth of Ceriporia lacerate HS‐ZJUT‐C13A, a fungal endophyte residing in the stems of the traditional Chinese herb Huperzia serrata. The structures of the new compounds 1 and 2 were established by spectroscopic methods, including UV, IR, HR‐ESI‐MS, and extensive 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR techniques. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on triterpene metabolites from the genus Ceriporia.  相似文献

Three new xanthones, namely huperxanthones A–C ( 1 – 3 , resp.), were obtained from the cultures of Aspergillus versicolor, a fungal endophyte of Huperzia serrata, together with 1,7‐dihydroxy‐8‐(methoxycarbonyl)xanthone‐3‐carboxylic acid ( 4 ), β‐diversonolic acid methyl ester ( 5 ), 4‐hydroxyvertixanthone ( 6 ), and sydowinin B ( 7 ). The structures of the new compounds were established by detailed NMR and MS analysis, especially by 2D‐NMR experiments. All xanthones were evaluated for their effects on α‐glucosidase. Compound 4 exhibited a potent inhibitory activity against α‐glucosidase with an IC50 value of 0.24 mM (vs. 0.38 mM for acarbose). The rest of the compounds showed weak or no activity against α‐glucosidase.  相似文献
