Excellent nonlinear optical materials simultaneously meet the requirements of large SHG response, phase‐matching capability, wide transparency windows, considerable energy band‐gap, good thermal stability and structure stability. Herein, two new promising nonlinear optical (NLO) crystals LiMII(IO3)3 (MII=Zn and Cd) are rationally designed by the aliovalent substitution strategy from the commercialized α‐LiIO3 with the perfect parallel alignment of IO3 groups. Compared with parent α‐LiIO3 and related AI2MIV(IO3)6, the title compounds exhibit more stable covalent 3D structure, and overcome the racemic twinning problem of AI2MIV(IO3)6. More importantly, both compounds inherit NLO‐favorable structure merits of α‐LiIO3 and show larger SHG response (≈14× and ≈12×KDP), shorter absorption edge (294 and 297 nm) with wider energy band‐gap (4.21 and 4.18 eV), good thermal stability (460 and 430 °C), phase‐matching behaviors, wider optical transparency window and good structure stability, achieving an excellent balance of NLO properties.  相似文献

The manipulation of interfacial properties has broad implications for the development of high-performance coatings. Metal–phenolic networks (MPNs) are an emerging class of responsive, adherent materials. Herein, host–guest chemistry is integrated with MPNs to modulate their surface chemistry and interfacial properties. Macrocyclic cyclodextrins (host) are conjugated to catechol or galloyl groups and subsequently used as components for the assembly of functional MPNs. The assembled cyclodextrin-based MPNs are highly permeable (even to high molecular weight polymers: 250–500 kDa), yet they specifically and noncovalently interact with various functional guests (including small molecules, polymers, and carbon nanomaterials), allowing for modular and reversible control over interfacial properties. Specifically, by using either hydrophobic or hydrophilic guest molecules, the wettability of the MPNs can be readily tuned between superrepellency (>150°) and superwetting (ca. 0°).  相似文献

Three‐component mixtures (diblock copolymer/metal ion/oligoligand) can assemble into micellar particles owing to a combination of supramolecular polymerization and electrostatic complex formation. Such particles cover a large range of compositions, but the electrostatic forces keeping them together make them rather susceptible to disintegration by added salt. Now it is shown how the salt stability can be tuned continuously by employing both a bis‐ligand and a tris‐ligand, and varying the ratio of these in the mixture. For magnetic ions such as MnII and FeIII, the choice of the multiligand also affects the ion/water interaction and, hence, the magnetic relaxivity. As an example, MnII‐based nanoparticles with a very high longitudinal relaxivity (10.8 mm −1 s−1) were investigated that are not only biocompatible but also feature strong contrast enhancement in target organs (liver, kidney), as shown by T1‐weighted in vivo magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).  相似文献
