While operational qualification (OQ) is a well-established term within equipment qualification, users of equipment often become unsure when it comes to implementation. The biggest problem is how to select procedures and acceptance criteria. Should these be the vendor's specifications or should the users define their own limits, and, if so, how? Should all instruments of the same type have the same values or should these be optimized for each individual instrument? This article will provide an overall strategy and specific examples for HPLC on how to select procedures and acceptance limits that are based on efficient use of resources, on practicality and on the intended use of the equipment.  相似文献

A general strategy of structural analysis of alumina silicate by combining various solid‐state NMR measurements such as single pulse, multi‐quantum magic angle spinning, double‐quantum homo‐nuclear correlation under magic angle spinning (DQ‐MAS), and cross‐polarization hetero‐nuclear correlation (CP‐HETCOR) was evaluated with the aid of high magnetic field NMR (800 MHz for 1H Larmor frequency) by using anorthite as a model material. The high magnetic field greatly enhanced resolution of 27Al in single pulse, DQ‐MAS, and even in triple‐quantum magic angle spinning NMR spectra. The spatial proximities through dipolar couplings were probed by the DQ‐MAS methods for homo‐nuclear correlations between both 27Al–27Al and 29Si–29Si and by CP‐HETCOR for hetero‐nuclear correlations between 27Al–29Si in the anorthite framework. By combining various NMR methodologies, we elucidated detailed spatial correlations among various aluminum and silicon species in anorthite that was hard to be determined using conventional analytical methods at low magnetic field. Solid state 1H NMR line‐shape analysis and (double quantum) DQ 1H NMR experiments have been used to investigate the segmental and polymer chain dynamics as a function of temperature for a series of thermosetting epoxy resins produced using different diamine curing agents. In these thermosets, chemical crosslinks introduce topological constraints leading to residual stresses during curing. Materials containing a unique ferrocene‐based diamine (FcDA) curing agent were evaluated to address the role of the ferrocene fluxional process on the atomic‐level polymer dynamics. At temperatures above the glass transition temperature (Tg), the DQ 1H NMR experiments provided a measure of the relative effective crosslink and entanglement densities for these materials and revealed significant polymer chain dynamic heterogeneity in the FcDA‐cured thermosets. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A full investigation of the possible homonuclear double-quantum recoupling sequences, based on the RN family of sequences with N < or = 20, is given. Several new RN sequences, R16(6)(5), R18(8)(5), and R18(10)(5), were applied at high magic-angle spinning rates and compared with theory. The R18(10)(5) technique can be used to recouple dipolar couplings at spinning rates up to 39 kHz, and the application of the sequence in an INADEQUATE experiment is shown for a spinning rate of 30 kHz.  相似文献

In this paper, a simple and efficient mixed Ritz-differential quadrature (DQ) method is presented for free vibration and buckling analysis of orthotropic rectangular plates. The mixed scheme combines the simplicity of the Ritz method and high accuracy and efficiency of the DQ method. The accuracy of the proposed method is demonstrated by comparing the calculated results with those available in the literature. It is shown that highly accurate results can be obtained using a small number of Ritz terms and DQ sample points. The proposed method is suitable for the problem considered due to its simplicity and potential for further development.  相似文献

In this paper, indirect radial basis function networks (IRBFN) proposed by Nam and Tranh (Neural Networks 2001; 14 (2):185–199; Appl. Math. Modelling 2003; 27 :197–220) are incorporated into the differential quadrature (DQ) approximation of derivatives. For simplicity, this new variant of RBF‐DQ approach is named as iRBF‐DQ method. The proposed approach is validated by its application to solve the one‐dimensional Burger's equation, and simulate natural convection in a concentric annulus by solving Navier–Stokes equations. It was found that as compared to the benchmark data, the iRBF‐DQ approach can provide more accurate results than the original RBF‐DQ method. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In recent years, 1H double-quantum NMR (DQ NMR) was established as a suitable molecular-rheology technique to elucidate chain dynamics and to determine entanglement or crosslink densities in linear entangled polymer melts and permanent as well as transient networks. In this work, industrial grade high-density polyethylene, partially cross-linked via electron beam irradiation in the semicrystalline state, is probed in the melt state by low-field DQ NMR and shear rheology. The DQ NMR data is analyzed by two approaches, one assuming the presence of a permanent network and the other considering the potentially complex relaxation spectrum of the studied inhomogeneous systems. A correlation between the DQ NMR results and extent of cross-linking is found. By direct comparison of the rheological results and the NMR-based segmental orientation autocorrelation functions (OACF) via time–temperature superposition (TTS), qualitative consistency between the microscopic and macroscopic observables is established. In this way, the frequency range of shear rheology can be extended by about two decades into the 10 krad/s range. The NMR method is thus a valuable extension of the toolbox of characterization techniques, where gel content measurements by solvent extraction proved to be the least sensitive.  相似文献

首次提出有限元法(FEM)和微分求积法(DQM)的组合应用,分析矩形平板的振动和屈曲问题.混合法综合了FEM几何适应性强,以及DQM的高精度和高效率.与已有文献的计算结果比较,验证了该方法的正确性.研究表明,使用少量的有限单元和不多的DQM样本点,就可以得到高精度的结果.由于该方法简单且具备进一步发展的潜力,被认为适用于这类问题的求解.  相似文献

In the present work, effect of von Kàrmàn geometric nonlinearity on the vibration behavior of a single-walled boron nitride nanotube (SWBNNT) is investigated based on nonlocal piezoelasticity theory. The SWBNNT is considered as a nanobeam within the framework of Timoshenko beam (TB). Loading is composed of a temperature change and an imposed axially electric potential throughout the SWBNNT. The interactions between the SWBNNT and its surrounding elastic medium are simulated by Winkler and Pasternak foundation models. The higher order governing equations of motion are derived using Hamilton's principle and the numerical solution of equations is obtained using Differential Quadrature (DQ) method. The effects of geometric nonlinearity, elastic foundation modulus, electric potential field, temperature change and nonlocal parameter on the frequency of the SWBNNT are studied in detail.  相似文献

This paper presents a very first combined application of Ritz method and differential quadrature (DQ) method to vibration problem of rectangular plates. In this study, the spatial partial derivatives with respect to a coordinate direction are first discretized using the Ritz method. The resulting system of partial differential equations and the related boundary conditions are then discretized in strong form using the DQ method. The mixed method combines the simplicity of the Ritz method and high accuracy and efficiency of the DQ method. The results are obtained for various types of boundary conditions. Comparisons are made with existing analytical and numerical solutions in the literature. Numerical results prove that the present method is very suitable for the problem considered due to its simplicity, efficiency, and high accuracy.  相似文献
