This paper is devoted to a detailed theoretical study of an ion pair SN2 reaction LiNCO+CH3F in the gas phase and in solution at the level of MP2(full)/6-31+G**//HF/6-31+G**. Two possible reaction mechanisms, inversion and retention, are discussed. There are eight possible reaction pathways. The inversion mechanism is more favorable no matter in the gas phase or in solution based on analyses of the transition structures. Methyl isocyanate should form preferentially in the gas phase and more stable methyl cyanate is the main product in solution. The retardation of the reaction in solvents was attributed to the difference in solvation in the separated reactants and in the transition state. 相似文献

The degree of phase separation in several moisture‐cured poly(urethane urea)s (PUUs) was studied by FTIR spectroscopy, wide angle X‐ray diffraction (WAXD), and temperature‐modulated differential scanning calorimetry (TMDSC). This latter technique was shown to be particularly useful in analysing the degree of phase separation in PUU polymers. Both phase mixing and phase segregation coexisted in the PUUs and the degree of phase separation increased as the urea hard segment (HS) content in the PUU increased. The maximum solubility of urea HSs into the polyol soft segments (SSs) was achieved for 50 wt % urea HS content in diol‐based PUUs, whereas for triol‐based PUUs the highest solubility between HS and SS was reached for lower urea HS amount. To study living anionic polymerization, 3‐(triethylsilyl)propyl isocyanate (TEtSPI) monomer was synthesized by hydrosilylation of allylamine with triethylsilane and treatment of the resulting amine with triphosgene. The polymerization of TEtSPI was performed with sodium naphthalenide (Na‐Naph) as an initiator and in the absence and presence of sodium tetraphenylborate (NaBPh4) as an additive in tetrahydrofuran (THF) at ?78 and at ?98 °C. A highly stabilized amidate anion for living polymerization of isocyanates was generated for the first time with the combined effect of the bulky substituent and the shielding action of the additive NaBPh4, extending the living character at least up to 120 min at ?98 °C. Even the anion could exist at ?78 °C for 10 min. A block copolymer, poly(n‐hexyl isocyanate)‐b‐poly[(3‐triethylsilyl)propyl isocyanate]‐b‐poly(n‐hexyl isocyanate), was synthesized with quantitative yields and controlled molecular weights via living anionic polymerization in THF at ?78 °C for TEtSPI and ?98 °C for n‐hexyl isocyanate, respectively, with Na‐Naph with three times of NaBPh4 as a common ion salt. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A 11-complex of trinitrophenol with benzyldimethylamine (1) and a 111-complex, the product of the interaction of benzyldimethylamine, glycidyl phenyl ether, and phenol (2), have been synthesized and characterized by means of X-ray analysis. Complex1 is a precursor for the catalysts of selective isocyanate cyclotrimerization, while complex2 is one of those catalysts. In the crystal structure complex1 forms H-bonded cationic-anionic aggregates with proton transfer from phenol to the N-atom of the tertiary amine. Complex2 crystallizes as a monohydrate (2a) with a strong H-bond between the quaternary ammonium and phenolic components, and exists in crystals in the form of globular H-bonded dimeric hydrates. Possible pathways of dissociation of complex2a are discussed. The data obtained may be used as a basis for further interpretation of the regularities of cyclotrimerization of isocyanates catalyzed by complexes of this type.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. The harmonic vibrational force fields and the IR spectrum of XSO2NCO (X= F, C1) molecules have been studied usingab initio HF/SCF method with the 6-31G’ basis set. Theab initio harmonic force fields are scaled empirically using the scaled quantum mechanical (SQM) method of Pulay. A set of scale factors
are optimized by the least-squares fitting to the experimental frequencies of FSO2NCO and then are transferred to CISO2NCO to give ana priori prediction of its fundamental frequencies. The average deviations between the theoretical frequencies and the experimental
values for FSO2NCO and C1SO2NCO are 3 and 5 cm-1, respectively. The assignments of the fundamentals for these two molecules are also made atcording to the potential energy

The new isocyanato carborane anion, [7-OCN-7-CB10H12]− was prepared by the reaction of 7-H3N-7-CB10H12 with triphosgene in the presence of triethylamine. The structure of this compound was established by 1H, 11B and 13C NMR as well as IR spectroscopy. The reactivigty of this compound with a series of organic amines was investigated. The resulting ureas were obtained in good to excellent yields. This approach is suitable for development of compounds for use in tumor selective Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT). 相似文献

The bimolecular single collision reaction potential energy surface of an isocyanate NCO radical with a ketene CH2CO molecule was investigated by means of B3LYP and QCISD(T) methods. The computed results indicate that two possible reaction channels exist on the surface. One is an addition-elimination reaction process, in which the CH2CO molecule is attacked by the nitrogen atom at its methylene carbon atom to lead to the formation of the intermediate OCNCH2CO followed by a C-C rupture channel to the products CH2NCO+CO. The other is a direct hydrogen abstraction channel from CHzCO by the NCO radical to afford the products HCCO+HNCO. Because of a higher barrier in the hydrogen abstraction reaction than in the addition-elimination reaction, the direct hydrogen abstraction pathway can only be considered as a secondary reaction channel in the reaction kinetics of NCO+ CH2CO. The predicted results are in good agreement with previous experimental and theoretical investigations. 相似文献
