We propose a new detection method for a pseudo-random frequency modulation continuous wave (RM-CW) coherent lidar. The feature of this method is modulation of local beam with a time delayed pseudo-random sequence. Heterodyne detection and correlation detection between the received beam and the local beam are simultaneously carried out in an optical field. In the RM-CW coherent lidar using the optical field correlation detection method, the received equipment is greatly simplified. We carried out preliminary experiments and demonstrated that the new method is effective for detection of a CW coherent lidar. 相似文献

A lamp pumped high power 1341.4 nmNd:YAlO3CW laser and its performances have been described. As high as 188 W of CW output power has been obtained at 1341.4 nm alone line with a overall efficiency of 1.37% and a slope efficiency of 2.14%. In this work we present a method for determining the optical parameters of turbid media, namely its absorption coefficient (μa) and its reduced scattering coefficient . It is based on the measurement of CW transmittance profiles and analysis of the experimental data by a theoretical model based on the diffusion approximation (DA) of the radiative transfer equation (RTE). The method developed has been investigated with solid polymer probes but it could be applied for liquid materials as well. Experimental results are presented and compared to those of other authors together with a discussion about the accuracy of measurements. A high-power CW diode-side-pumped Nd:YAP laser with linearly polarization at 1341 nm has been described. The laser characteristics including thermal lens and stability of flat–flat resonator were studied. By comparing the output powers at different resonator lengths and different output couplers, the c-axis polarized laser working at 1341 nm has been obtained with a maximum output power of 121 W at the pumping power of 555 W. The optical–optical efficiency is 21.8% and the optical slope efficiency is 40%. The a-axis polarized laser at 1339 nm has also been successfully obtained when the c-axis polarized laser had become instable with the increase of pumping power. 相似文献
