A series of carboxylic acids were converted into their corresponding esters using the Pd/C catalyzed hydrogenation conditions in the presence of catalytic bromobenzene in alcohols and the method could also be applicable for the transesterification of esters. Good to excellent yields were obtained for different aliphatic or aromatic starting materials. The success of this esterification relies on the in situ generation of hydrobromic acid (HBr) from bromobenzene which provides a mild and acidic reaction environment. The palladium catalyst exhibits a remarkable activity and is reusable for up-to three consecutive cycles. 相似文献

The reaction of tert-butyl N-(2-bromophenyl)carbamate (1) with ethyl perfluorooctanoate in the presence of tert-butyllithium did not give the desired N-(2-perfluorooctanoylphenyl)carbamate (3) but gave 1-hydroxy-1H-perfluorooctyl compound (4), which was supposed to be formed by the reduction of 3. A similar reaction of 2,2,2-trifluoroacetophenone with tert-butyllithium did not gave any reduction product. Detailed investigation showed that lithium ethoxide worked as the reducing agent of this abnormal reduction. By the reaction of lithium isopropoxide, an aldol product from 2,2,2-trifluoroacetophenone with acetone was isolated, while perfluoroheptyl or perfluoropropyl phenyl ketones were reduced by this alkoxide in a high yield without formation of the aldol adduct. 相似文献

A dynamic recirculating still was employed to study the isobaric vapour-liquid equilibrium (VLE) at 40.0 and 101.3 kPa for the binary systems tetrahydrofuran, tetrahydropyran, 2-methyl-tetrahydrofuran and 2,5-dimethyl-tetrahydrofuran with bromobenzene. Two aluminum mirrors with radii of 203.2 mm and radii of curvature also of 203.2 mm have been used to construct a tunable Fabry-Perót type resonator with Q values of ∼200 at frequencies as low as 500 MHz. The resonator has been incorporated into a pulsed nozzle, Fourier transform, Balle-Flygare spectrometer typically used for recording pure rotational spectra in the microwave region. The resonator design allows the instrument to access the radio frequency region (?3 GHz) of the electromagnetic spectrum. The spectrometer is of use in (i) recording low J transitions of large asymmetric molecules where the spectra are often greatly simplified compared to higher frequency regions; (ii) measuring hyperfine constants for heavy molecules with higher accuracy than may be obtained at higher frequencies where hyperfine structure may not be resolvable; and (iii) provides further synchronicity between laboratory based measurements and radio astronomy in the 30 cm region. The resonators use is illustrated by recording the rotational spectra of bromobenzene and iodobenzene. The lowest ΔJ = +1 transition for iodobenzene has been observed at 1130.5292(10) MHz. 相似文献
