This study presents the dielectrophoretic (DEP) assembly of multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) between curved microelectrodes for the purpose of trapping polystyrene microparticles within a microfluidic system. Under normal conditions, polystyrene particles exhibit negative DEP behaviour and are repelled from microelectrodes. Interestingly, the addition of MWCNTs to the system alters this situation in two ways: first, they coat the surface of particles and change their dielectric properties to exhibit positive DEP behaviour; second, the assembled MWCNTs are highly conductive and after the deposition serve as extensions to the microelectrodes. They establish an array of nanoelectrodes that initiates from the edge of microelectrodes and grow along the electric field lines. These nanoelectrodes can effectively trap the MWCNT‐coated particles, since they cover a large portion of the microchannel bottom surface and also create a much stronger electric field than the primary microelectrodes as confirmed by our numerical simulations. We will show that the presence of MWCNT significantly changes performance of the system, which is investigated by trapping sample polystyrene particles with plain, COOH and goat anti‐mouse IgG surfaces.  相似文献

Summary.  Iodo derivatives of diphosphine-bridged heterobimetallic Fe—Pd and Fe—Pt complexeshave been prepared in which an alkoxysilyl ligand bridges the two metals in a μ2−η2-SiO manner. In the course of their synthesis by halide exchange from (dppx = dppm (Ph2 PCH2 PPh2) or dppa (Ph2PNHPPh2); M = Pd or Pt), loss of the alkoxysilyl ligand occurred resulting in the formation of complexes in which a bridging iodide has replaced, as a 3e-donor, the bridging alkoxysilyl ligand. These complexes of formula (M = Pd, Pt are better prepared by reaction of with [MI2(cod)]. The crystal structures of (2a), (2b), and  · CH2Cl2 (3b · CH2Cl2) have been determined by X-ray diffraction. Heterometallic triangular platinum–cobalt, palladium–cobalt and palladium–molybdenum clusters stabilized by one or two bridging diphosphine ligands such as Ph2PNHPPh2 (dppa) or (Ph2P)2NMe (dppaMe) or by mixed ligand sets Ph2PCH2PPh2 (dppm)/dppa have been prepared with the objectives of comparing the stability and properties of the clusters as a function of the short-bite diphosphine ligand used and of the metal carbonyl fragment they contain. Ligand redistribution reactions were observed during the purification of [Co2Pd(μ3-CO)(CO)4(μ-dppa)(μ-dppm)] (4) by column chromatography with the formation of [Co2Pd(μ3-CO)(CO)4(μ-dppm)2] and the dinuclear complex [(OC)2 Cl] (5). The latter was independently prepared by reaction of [Pd(dppa-P,P′)2](BF4)2 with Na[Co(CO)4]. Attempts to directly incorporate the ligand (Ph2P)2N(CH2)3Si(OMe)3 (dppaSi) into a cluster or to generate it by N-functionalization of coordinated dppa were unsuccessful, in contrast to results obtained recently with related clusters. The crystal structure of [Co2Pt(μ3-CO)(CO)6(μ-dppa)] (1) has been determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

设计合成了带巯基的聚苯乙炔衍生物,在产物的红外光谱上,3312和776 cm-1处炔氢特征吸收与2106 cm-1处碳碳三键的特征红外吸收消失;在产物的1H-NMR谱上,对应单体上炔氢的化学位移(δ=3.0)消失而对应共轭烯烃的化学位移(δ=6.4)出现;这些谱学特征变化证明了聚合反应的发生.巯基官能化的聚苯乙炔不仅能够发挥聚苯乙炔衍生物对碳纳米管的增溶作用,而且具有将碳纳米管表面巯基功能化的特殊性能.通过巯基与ZnO之间的强相互作用,ZnO纳米粒子被组装到巯基官能化的聚苯乙炔/碳纳米管杂化结构的外壳.本研究提供了制备新的多元复合纳米结构材料的方法.  相似文献

The reaction of the iron metalate [Fe{Si(OMe)3}(CO)3(dppm-P)] (1b) with [Ru(CO)3Cl(μ-Cl)]2 afforded the heterodinuclear complex [(OC)3{(MeO)3Si}Fe(μ-dppm)Ru(CO)3Cl)] (Fe–Ru) (3) in which a long Fe–Ru separation of 2.956(1) ? has been crystallographically evidenced. It was shown by density functional theory (DFT) calculations to correspond to the minimum-energy structure. Upon treatment of the corresponding hydrido complex [HFe{Si(OMe)3}(CO)3(dppm-P)] (1a) with [Ru(CO)3Cl(μ-Cl)]2, the chloride-bridged tetranuclear hydrido complex [(OC)3{(MeO)3Si}Fe(H)(μ-dppm)Ru(CO)2Cl(μ-Cl)]2 (4) was formed in which the Fe and Ru centers are only linked via bridging dppm ligands. As a special type of novel flexible structures, tensegrity holds promise for many potential applications in such fields as materials science, biomechanics, civil and aerospace engineering. Rhombic systems are an important class of tensegrity structures, in which each bar constitutes the longest diagonal of a rhombus of four strings. In this paper, we address the design methods of rhombic structures based on the idea that many tensegrity structures can be constructed by assembling one-bar elementary cells. By analyzing the properties of rhombic cells, we first develop two novel schemes, namely, direct enumeration scheme and cell-substitution scheme. In addition, a facile and efficient method is presented to integrate several rhombic systems into a larger tensegrity structure. To illustrate the applications of these methods, some novel rhombic tensegrity structures are constructed.  相似文献
