Homo-dinuclear σ-alkynyl complexes: past, present and opportunities

Homo-dinuclear alkynyl complexes with a distinct metal–metal bond constitute a rapidly growing field, where the focus is placed on compounds based on ruthenium, molybdenum, tungsten or rhodium. Interesting characteristics of these complexes include paramagnetism, intense charge-transfer absorptions, tunable bridging ligands, which may not be easily accessible in mononuclear acetylide systems. These complexes have significant potential for use in both molecular electronics and supramolecular chemistry. In this short account, previous work in this area is assessed, and each of the major groups of complexes is discussed in terms of both the synthetic strategies and structural motifs.     

Cyclic vinylogous triflate hemiacetals as new surrogates for alkynyl aldehydes

Cyclic vinylogous triflate hemiacetals can serve as ‘synthetic equivalents’ for alkynyl aldehydes: treatment of a vinylogous triflate hemiacetal with excess amounts of Grignard reagents produces acyclic alkynyl alcohols in good to high yields. This transformation likely involves the Grob-type C-C bond cleaving fragmentation to form the alkynyl aldehyde in situ. Subsequent nucleophilic attack of the Grignard reagent furnishes secondary alkynols. Vinylogous triflate hemiacetals are easily prepared by DIBALH reduction of vinylogous acyl triflates, which are derived from cyclic 1,3-diketones.     

High extraction ability of 1,3-dialkynyl calixarene towards mercury（Ⅱ） ion

The reaction of 1,3-dipropyn-2-yloxycalix[4]arene with mercury(II)acetate could give mercury-containing alkynyl calixarenepolymer.The extraction behavior of 1,3-dipropyn-2-yl-oxycalix[4]arene towards mercury(II)ion was examined.When the moleratio of Hg~(2 )/calixarene was 1:1,the extractive percent can reach to 99.1%,and the extraction capacity was up to 431 mg/g.It couldalso decrease the Hg~(2 )concentration from 5 to 0.85 mg/L,which was only 17%of the national standard of effluent and satisfied thenational standard of drinking water.The extraction process included chemical reaction.     

Ge2H2 a π-ligand in organometallic chemistry

η² π-Complexes of Ge₂H₂ with the organometallic fragments V(PH₃)₂(I)(CO)₂, Cr(CO)₄, Co(PH₃)₂(Cl) and M(PH₃)₂ (M = Ni, Pd, Pt) have been studied at the B3LYP level using the SBKJC relativistic effective core potentials and their associated basis sets on metals and iodine, and the 6-31G(d) basis set on all other elements. The transition metal fragments of V, Cr, Co, Ni, Pd and Pt were chosen based on known alkyne compounds. All the complexes are local minima for both the HGeGeH and GeGeH₂ isomers of the Ge₂H₂ ligand. The complexes containing GeGeH₂ isomer as a ligand are lower in energy than those with the HGeGeH ligand (except in the V complex in which the difference is only 1.0 kcal/mol). There is a net charge transfer from ligand to metal in complexes V-Co and from metal to ligand in late transition metal complexes (Ni-Pt).     

分光光度法测定微量炔烃的研究

叙述了利用生成炔亚铜的反应来定量测定微量炔烃的分光光度法。研究表明，在严格控制氨的浓度、保持足量的还原剂的条件下，可以有效地消除反应介质、反应时间、反应物的浓度、空气中的氧等对测定的影响，获得满意的定量结果。该方法已在实际生产中得到应用。     

Unexpected reactivity of pyridinium salts toward alkynyl Fischer complexes to produce oxo‐heterocycles

The unprecedented reaction of ketone‐containing aromatic pyridinium salts 3a ‐ e and alkynyl Fischer complexes 1a ‐ f proceeds via a mild domino process to provide 4,6‐disubstituted pyran‐2‐ones 5a ‐ k and 2,3,5‐trisubstituted furans 6a ‐ h (45‐97%). According of the results of isotopic labeling experiments, a mechanism involving an initial Michael addition appears to be the key step, obtaining a mesomeric structure responsible for the formation of both products.     

Silver(I)-mediated reaction of trimethylsilylated arylacetylenes with sulfonyl chlorides:Unexpected formation of vinvl sulfones

A novel reaction of trimethylsilylated arylacetylenes with sulfonyl chlorides was performed in the presence of silver nitrate or triflate.Conjugated vinyl sulfones as dramatic products were obtained in moderate yields and with Z-selectivity.A free radical mechanism has been proposed to account for the formation of the products.     

主链含酰亚胺环和炔基的聚酰亚胺型聚氨酯弹性体的合成及阻燃性能

以均苯四甲酸酐、 D,L-苯丙氨酸和1,4-丁炔二醇为原料合成了一种含有酰亚胺环和炔基的二醇, 并以其为扩链剂, 采用预聚体法, 与4,4-二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯(MDI)和聚四氢呋喃醚二醇(PTMG)反应, 合成了不同硬段含量的主链含有酰亚胺环和炔基的热塑性聚酰亚胺型聚氨酯弹性体. 用红外光谱(FTIR)、 电子拉力机、 热失重分析(TG)、 广角X射线衍射(XRD)、 UL-94垂直燃烧和极限氧指数对聚酰亚胺型聚氨酯弹性体进行了表征. 结果表明, 这种聚氨酯呈现出无定形结构; 其拉伸强度随着硬段含量的增加而增大; 与传统的热塑性聚氨酯相比, 酰亚胺环和炔基改性的聚酰亚胺型聚氨酯弹性体的热分解过程非常缓慢, 呈现出较好的热稳定性; 不同硬段含量的聚酰亚胺型聚氨酯弹性体的UL-94垂直燃烧均达到V-2级别; 其极限氧指数随着硬段含量的增加而增大.     

A new synthesis of alkynyl tellurides promoted by CsOH and 4(A°) MS

The mixture of cesium hydroxide and terminal alkynes in dry DMF in the presence of 4(A°), molecular sieves was stirred for 3.0 h at room temperature under N2, then aryltellurenyl bromide in THF was added, and the reaction mixture was stirred for 2.0 h. Alkynyl tellurides were obtained in about 90% yields by flash chromatography.
