Three novel zinc complexes [Zn(dbsf)(H2O)2] ( 1 ), [Zn(dbsf)(2,2′‐bpy)(H2O)]·(i‐C3H7OH) ( 2 ) and [Zn(dbsf)(DMF)] ( 3 ) (H2dbsf = 4,4′‐dicarboxybiphenyl sulfone, 2,2′‐bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridine, i‐C3H7OH = iso‐propanol, DMF = N,N‐dimethylformamide) were first obtained and characterized by single crystal X‐ray crystallography. Although the results show that all the complexes 1–3 have one‐dimensional chains formed via coordination bonds, unique three‐dimensional supramolecular structures are formed due to different coordination modes and configuration of the dbsf2? ligand, hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions. Iso‐propanol molecules are in open channels of 2 while larger empty channels are formed in 3 . As compared with emission band of the free H2dbsf ligand, emission peaks of the complexes 1–3 are red‐shifted, and they show blue emission, which originates from enlarging conjugation upon coordination. The sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone sulfone) (SPEEKS)/heteropolyacid (HPA) composite membranes with different HPA content in SPEEKS copolymers matrix with different degree of sulfonation (DS) were investigated for high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells. Composite membranes were characterized by Fourier transfer infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). FTIR band shifts suggested that the sulfonic acid groups on the copolymer backbone strongly interact with HPA particles. SEM pictures showed that the HPA particles were uniformly distributed throughout the SPEEKS membranes matrix and particle sizes decreased with the increment of copolymers' DS. The holes were not found in SPEEKS‐4/HPA30 (consisting of 70% SPEEKS copolymers with DS = 0.8 and 30% HPA) composite membrane after composite membranes were treated with boiling water for 24 h. Thermal stabilities of the composite membranes were better than those of pure sulfonated copolymers membranes. Although the composite membranes possessed lower water uptake, it exhibited higher proton conductivity for SPEEKS‐4/HPA30 especially at high temperature (above 100 °C). Its proton conductivity linearly increased from 0.068 S/cm at 25 °C to 0.095 S/cm at 120 °C, which was higher than 0.06 S/cm of Nafion 117. In contrast, proton conductivity of pure SPEEKS‐4 membrane only increased from 0.062 S/cm at 25 °C to 0.078 S/cm at 80 °C. At 120 °C, proton conductivity decreased to poor 0.073 S/cm. Random copoly(p-phenylene sulfide sulfone/ketone)s (PPSS/K) are prepared in high yield by the polycondensation of sodium hydrosulfide (NaSH) with bis(4-chlorophenyl) sulfone (BCPS) and 4,4′-dichlorobenzophenone (DCBP). The polymerization is conducted between 200–220°C, depending on the composition of the copolymer, and in the presence of water without any detrimental effects to the molecular weight. The copolymers with sulfone/ketone mole ratios (S : K) > 25 : 75 are amorphous, while the copolymers with S : K ratios ≤ 25 : 75 are crystalline. These materials form tough, creaseable films and exhibit a linear increase in the glass transition temperature with increasing sulfone content. Sulfuric acid solutions of the copolymers are dark orange to red and display an increasing λmax in the uv-visible spectra as the S:K ratio of the copolymers decreases. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A series of α,ω-dihydroxy polyarylene sulfones (PAES) were synthesized comprising bisphenol A (PAES1, Mn=1800, 4900, and 9500 daltons), 4,4-biphenol (PAES2, Mn=4100 daltons), and hexafluorobisphenol A (PAES3, Mn=3300 daltons). These were reacted with α,ω-dibromo poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF, Mn=1200 daltons) prepared by telomerization, to yield block copolymers possessing rigid and flexible segments. Block copolymers were characterized by FTIR, NMR, GPC, DSC, TGA and TEM. In several cases the block copolymers exhibited distinct thermal transitions, i.e. Tm and Tg for PVDF and PAES segments, respectively. Where observable, Tg of PAES domains in the block copolymers occurred at a temperature lower than the corresponding PAES homopolymer due to the flexible nature of the surrounding PVDF domains. Block copolymers exhibited a similar thermal stability to the corresponding PAES homopolymers but higher stability than the PVDF homopolymer, and much higher still than α,ω-dibromo PVDF. TEM analyses indicate that phase separation of PAES and PVDF domains occurs on the nanometer scale.  相似文献

The reaction of derivatives of 3-acetyl-d-glucal, 3-acetyl-l-rhamnal, 3-acetyl-d-galactal, and 3-acetyl-d-lactal with sodium benzenesulfinate in acid medium catalyzed by HgSO4 afforded diastereoisomeric mixtures of the corresponding 2,3-dideoxy-3-(phenylsulfonyl)-hexopyranoses through a Ferrier rearrangement. The anomeric alkoxyl radical fragmentation of these γ-hydroxy sulfones using the system (diacetoxyiodo)benzene and iodine gave vinyl sulfones with structures of 1,2-dideoxy-4-O-formyl-2-(phenylsulfonyl)-pent-1-enitol and configurations d-erythro, l-erythro, and d-threo at the two stereogenic centers.  相似文献

New segmented aromatic poly(ether sulfone)-amide and poly(ether sulfone)-imide copolymers were synthesized by the chain extension of α,w-diamine-terminated poly(ether sulfone) oligomer with both aromatic dicarboxylic acid chlorides and tetracarboxylic dianhydrides, respectively. Crystallization of the poly(ether sulfone)unit was suppressed by the introduction of amide or imide linkage along the polymer backbone, giving amorphous copolymers that were +eadily soluble in various organic solvents. The copolymers had somewhat higher glass transition temperatures than the parent poly(ether sulfone). The reaction scope of trifluoromethanesulfonyl azide in diazo transfer reactions was extended to include the preparation of α-cyano-α-diazo-carbonyls, phenyl sulfonyl diazoacetophenone and diethyl diazomalonate in high yields. The effect of the bases used in the diazo transfer reactions were found to have a dramatic influence on the success of the reaction with pyridine being the base of choice.  相似文献
