Dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) is an important wireless technology for current and future automotive safety and mitigation of traffic jams. In this work, we have designed a Coplanar waveguide microstrip patch antenna with linear, upper and bottom and side slots for application in DSRC. The patch antenna was designed using glass epoxy substrate (FR4). Various parametric analyses such as the current distribution, reflection coefficient, radiation pattern on E- and H-plane as well as the realized gain (dB) were performed. The results were obtained by simulation using high-frequency structure simulator tool. The proposed antenna covers a frequency band of 5.8–5.9 GHz which is highly dedicated to the DSRC wireless communication technology for enhancement of safety of the automotive transport system. The designed antenna shows a good return loss of ??19 dB at 5.9 GHz.The designed antenna shows a promising gain, return loss and radiation pattern for use in DSRC for automotive transport systems.

Separate confinement single-quantum-well lasers with 100-120 Å-thick strained Ga1-xInxAs/GaAs active layers have been grown on (100) GaAs substrates by metalorganic chemical vapour deposition. Ten-stripe proton-implanted arrays with 90 μm-wide aperture and 250 μm cavity length emit 200 mW CW optical power at wavelengths 0.87⩽λ⩽0.95 μm. Lifetest data on an uncoated device emitting 90 mW/facet at 50°C and λ=0.95 μm suggest a mean-time-to-failure in excess of 2500 h at room temperature. The performance of lasers with strained Ga1-xInxAs quantum wells is comparable to that of unstrained AlxGa1-xAs/GaAs quantum-well lasers without facet coating  相似文献

Since Metasurfaces are playing important roles in optical devices such as optical polarizers and detectors, in this article, we have proposed a novel shape of nano aperture antenna for mid-infrared applications such as bio-sensing and other potential optical applications based on plasmonic characteristic of the gold layer over the SiN substrate. The transmittance tensor is obtained for vertical and horizontal linear polarization and base on boundary condition of the metasurface, the circular polarizations are extracted which are confirmed by the electric field distributions. We have shown by the parametric studies that the phase difference is altered by the gap and slot width and so with the dimension modification, we are able to achieve circular polarizer in the optical range. The biological materials with a thickness of 80 nm have then been placed over the metasurface layer and the figures of merits have been obtained. We have revealed that when the circular polarization is osculated to the metasurface at a special frequency the linear polarization is obtained in the other side of the metasurface. The nano aperture has been modeled and the finite difference time domain calculations are performed in CST Microwave Studio as a commercial full wave simulation software.  相似文献

The efficient, green, facile, mild and straightforward conversion procedure for the oxidation of cyclic ketones to lactones at room temperature utilizing potassium peroxydisulfate (K2S2O8) in acidic media is satisfactory to high yields without using traditional chlorinated solvents is reported. The water activity in aqueous solution of poly N-vinyl caprolactam with different molecular weights is measured by isopiestic method at T = 308.15 K. The results show that water activity and vapour pressure of poly N-vinylcaprolactam solution increases with increasing the molecular weight. The Flory-Huggins model, the modified Flory-Huggins model and Freed Flory-Huggins equation + NRTL model are used for correlation of the experimental solvent activity. It is found that the Freed Flory-Huggins + NRTL model is better than the others.  相似文献

Using self-optimization techniques is the only viable solution for increasing the efficiency in next generation mobile networks. The goal of proposing a self-optimization model is to maximize the network efficiency and increase the quality of services provided to microcell and femto-cell users, considering the limited resources in radio access networks. To increase the model efficiency, we applied the big data technique for analyzing data and increasing the accuracy of the decision-making process. Based on the meaningful extracted information, the SON decision maker will be able to adjust network parameters and resource allocation factors in a more intelligent manner. The experimental results show that despite the tremendous volume of the analyzed data—which is hundreds of times bigger than usual methods—it is possible to improve the KPIs, such as throughput, up to 30% by optimal resource allocation and reducing the signaling load. Also, the presence of feature extraction and parameter selection modules will reduce the response time of the self-optimization model up to 25% when the number of parameters is too high. Moreover, numerical results indicate the superiority of using support vector machine learning algorithm. It improves the accuracy level of decision making based on the rule-based expert system. Finally, uplink quality improvement and 15% increment of the coverage area under satisfied SINR conditions can be considered as outcome of the proposed scheme.  相似文献
