Chain transfer constants of some fluoroalcohols [HCF2(CF2)n?1CH2OH, n = 2, 4, 6] in the catalyzed polymerization of vinyl acetate, styrene, acrylonitrile, and methyl methacrylate at 60°C have been evaluated by a method based on degree of polymerization. Since fluoroalcohols are normally nonsolvents for polymers, a homogeneous reaction phase is maintained by carrying out the polymerization in benzene (except in case of acrylonitrile, where no solvent was used). The transfer constants vary, depending on the reactivity as well as the polarity of the radicals, in the following order: vinyl acetate > styrene > methyl methacrylate > acrylonitrile. Of the three fluoroalcohols studied, the transfer constants increase with the increasing value of n. The results have been interpreted in terms of polar structure contribution in the transition state of the transfer reactions. 相似文献

The supramolecular interactions of the ocular drug tropicamide (TR) with cucurbit[7]uril (CB7) and cucurbit[8]uril (CB8) were investigated in aqueous solutions by using 1H NMR, ESI-MS and UV–vis spectroscopic techniques. The results indicate a 1:1 binding stoichiometry of TR with CB7 and CB8. The binding constants of TR in its protonated form were higher (e.g. K = 4 × 106 M? 1 with CB8) than in its neutral form (e.g. K = 1.4 × 104 M? 1 with CB8), which led to a complexation-induced increase in its pK a value of ca. 0.5 and 2 units with CB7 and CB8, respectively. In the presence of about 1% (w/v) CB8, the ionisation degree of 0.1% (w/v) TR was increased from 2% to 62% at neutral pH. The increase in the pK a value and thus stabilisation of the protonated TR species at neutral pH is discussed in the context of supramolecular drug delivery of ophthalmologic drugs. 相似文献

We report a successful facile and novel approach for in situ synthesis of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) via enzymatic dephosphorylation reaction at room temperature. Fmoc-tyrosine phosphate and cytidine-5-mono phosphate are used to sense the activities of an enzyme alkaline phosphatase. Formation of AuNps is highly selective towards biomolecules and it is readily detected colorimetrically and UV–Vis analysis. In this procedure, dephosphorylated product plays both roles as reducing and stabilizing agent to direct the formation of AuNPs in aqueous media. Transmission electron microscopic study reveales that hexagonal AuNPs were synthesized by using Fmoc-tyrosine phosphate and alkaline phosphatase. Wide angle X-ray scattering data confirms the formation of AuNPs. FT-IR studies confirm that biomolecules play crucial role to stabilize the AuNPs by molecular interactions with the surface of AuNPs. In situ synthesized AuNPs are applied for the sensing of enzyme activity. 相似文献

The superconducting transition temperature Tc of Nb/Cu superlattices has been investigated as a function of layer thickness. The dependence of Tc above 300 Å layer thickness agrees well with proximity effect theory with no adjustable parameters. Below 300 Å, the data in conjunction with current proximity theory shows that Tc of Nb decreases with layer thickness. This is interpreted as changes in the electronic density of states due to a decrease in the mean-free path. 相似文献

Coumarin-based urea and urea–amide scaffolds 1–3 have been designed and synthesized for the selective and naked eye detection of cyanide ion. Of the three, compound 3 exhibits ratiometric fluorescence change selectively in the presence of CN? and validates the rationality in designing anion receptor. Upon interaction with CN?, the color of the solution of 3 in CH3CN under UV exposure becomes bright yellow, which is beneficial for its naked eye detection. Addition of CN? of ~10?4 M brings nice color change from colourless to yellow in ordinary light. The sensing event is supposed to be due to nucleophilic addition of CN? to the coumarin unit enabling intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) mechanism. 相似文献
