Operation of a 16-tap fiber-optic delay line configured as a bandpass filter with a fundamental frequency of 2.0 GHz over the frequency range from 0 to 12.5 GHz is discussed. Equal tap weights and spacings were used to facilitate comparison of experimental and predicted results. More than 1011 analog multiplications per second are performed in this relatively simple signal processing system. Other processors for performing functions such as matched filtering and correlation can be implemented by appropriate choice of the mirror reflectances and fiber lengths  相似文献

An internal-type linear inductive antenna, which is referred to as “double comb-type antenna”, was used as a large-area inductively coupled plasma (ICP) source with a substrate area of 2,300 mm × 2,000 mm. The characteristics of the ICP source were investigated for potential applications to flat panel display (FPD) processing. The source showed higher power transfer efficiency at higher RF power and higher operating pressures. The power transfer efficiency was approximately 88.1% at 9 kW of RF power and a pressure of 20 mTorr Ar. This source showed increasing plasma density and improved plasma uniformity with increasing RF power at a given operating pressure. A plasma density >1.5 × 1011/cm3 and a plasma uniformity of approximately 11% was obtained at 9 kW of RF power and 15 mTor Ar using this internal ICP source, which is applicable to FPD processing.  相似文献

Temperature dependent high resolution photoemission spectra of quasi-one-dimensional Li(0.9)Mo(6)O(17)evince a strong renormalization of its Luttinger-liquid density-of-states anomalous exponent. We trace this new effect to interacting charge neutral critical modes that emerge naturally from the two-band nature of the material. Li(0.9)Mo(6)O(17) is shown thereby to be a paradigm material that is capable of revealing new Luttinger physics.  相似文献

A simple and cost-effective method for real-time imaging in confocal microscopy is proposed. Spectrally encoded slit confocal microscopy (SESCoM) uses a spectral encoding technique together with a confocal slit aperture to achieve two-dimensional images. Simulation and experimental results of the SESCoM's axial and lateral performances are presented. The measured FWHM of the axial response is 1.15 mum when an objective with a NA of 0.95 is used. FWHMs of the lateral line spread functions are measured to be 236 and 244 nm along the x and y directions, respectively. Both the axial and the lateral experimental results agree well with the simulation results.  相似文献

This paper presents an actuation control system for the Smart Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SUAV), a tilt rotor aircraft that is being developed by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute. The actuation system, which consists of flaperon, rotor, and nacelle tilt, should be controlled to track the position command sent from the flight controller. However, substantial variations in the aerodynamic load on the actuation system make it difficult to achieve the desired level of control performance. In this study, the actuation system was controlled using the Time Delay Control (TDC) law. The experimental results show that the following control performance specifications are completely satisfied under load variation from 0 to 455 kgf: bandwidth of 4 Hz, overshoot of 2.5%, and steady state error of 1% for flaperon and rotor actuation system. Especially, the accuracy was within the noise level of the steady state position error over broad ranges of the load. In addition, the command filter was applied to the TDC command to mitigate the effects of the phase delay that occurs when a sinusoidal command is applied. Furthermore, an actual flight test was performed, which clearly showed the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. This promising control performance shows that TDC is an effective alternative for controlling the actuation system of the SUAV with substantial load variation.  相似文献

Covalent fixed multicyclic polystyrene conformers were synthesized from inconvertible polystyrene conformers based on ptert‐butylthiacalix[4]arene by azidation and subsequent click coupling. Selective 1D NOESY analyses confirmed that the spatial structures of star polystyrene precursors and multicyclic polystyrenes were preserved during the azidation and click coupling processes. The conformation of star polymers affected degree of decrease in the hydrodynamic volume after cyclization but had little effect on glass transition behavior. The rigid core of star polymer increased the Tg but in the case of multicyclic polymer, this influence of core structure was reduced. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. The joint density of states of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O(8+delta) is calculated by evaluating the autocorrelation of the single particle spectral function A(k, omega) measured from angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). These results are compared with Fourier transformed (FT) conductance modulations measured by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). Good agreement between the two experimental probes is found for two different doping values examined. In addition, by comparing the FT-STM results to the autocorrelated ARPES spectra with different photon polarization, new insight on the form of the STM matrix elements is obtained. This shines new light on unsolved mysteries in the tunneling data.  相似文献
