Electrical, resonant, and magnetic properties of intercalated copper chromium disulfide CuCrS2 are studied. It is established that CuCrS2 is an antiferromagnetic semiconductor with Néel temperature TN=40.7 K and an effective magnetic moment of 4.3µB. Anomalies in the electrical, magnetic, and resonant properties of CuCrS2 are found at Tc=110 K, which suggest an electron transition accompanied by alteration of the valences of the 3d-metal ions. 相似文献

This paper reports on the first study of the temperature and field dependences of the magnetization, heat capacity, and electrical properties of synthesized polycrystalline samples of aerugite Co10Ge3O16, as well as on x-ray diffraction analysis of this compound. It is shown that the cobalt ions in this compound occupy three nonequivalent positions. The results of the experimental and theoretical studies suggest that aerugite is a ferrimagnet with two uncompensated magnetic moments of the cobalt atom per formula unit. 相似文献

A layered Cu-Cr-S structure composed of single-crystal CuCrS2 layers and thin CuCr2S4 plates embedded in them has been investigated by the magnetic resonance and scanning electron microscopy methods. The Curie temperature and saturation magnetization of the spinel phase of the investigated samples have been determined. The thickness of the CuCr2S4 layers has been estimated. The dependence of the growncrystal topology on synthesis conditions has been established. An interpretation of the anomalous behavior of the magnetostatic oscillation intensity is offered. 相似文献

The coefficients of thermal expansion, lattice constant, and magnetization of anion-substituted MnSe1 - xTex chalcogenides were measured upon cooling in zero and nonzero magnetic fields in the temperature range 4.2–600 K. Resistivity as a function of magnetic field up to 1 T was measured. The dynamic properties of the materials were studied by the ESR method. CuB2O4 single crystals have been grown and their magnetic and resonance properties have been investigated for the first time. The
temperature dependence of the susceptibility was found to contain features at T=21 and 10 K. The CuB2O4 single crystal transformed at T=21 K to a weakly ferromagnetic state. The sharp drop in susceptibility at T<10 K is caused by a transition of the magnetic system of CuB2O4 to an antiferromagnetic state. The effective magnetic moment of the Cu2+ ion, determined from the high-temperature part of the magnetic susceptibility, is 1.77 μ
B. The room-temperature g factors are, respectively, 2.170 and 2.133 for magnetic field parallel and perpendicular to the c axis of the crystal. The antiferromagnetic resonance parameters in the weakly ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic phases
were measured.

High-quality single crystals of ludwigites Cu2 MBO5 (M = Fe3+, Ga3+) have been grown, and the magnetic, resonance, and Mössbauer studies have been performed. It is established that the Cu2FeBO5 and Cu2GaBO5 compounds are antiferromagnets with Néel temperatures of 32 and 3.4 K, respectively. A model of the magnetic structure of the compounds is proposed. It is shown that the magnetic properties of the ludwigites are substantially dependent on the degree of ion distribution over crystallographic positions. 相似文献
