Y doped BiFeO3 polycrystalline ceramics were prepared by sol–gel method. Crystal structure examined by X-ray diffraction indicates that the samples were single-phase and crystallize in rhombohedral structure. An anomaly in the dielectric constant and dielectric loss in the vicinity of the antiferromagnetic Neel temperature (TN) was observed. Saturated magnetization loops were observed for all sample with saturated magnetization Ms=0.678 emu/g and remnant magnetization Mr=0.084 emu/g for x=0.3.  相似文献

The discovery of neutron rich isotopes of the lightest elements on the neutron drip line exhibiting a halo structure has opened up new vistas in research activities. The novel structural features associated with the halo phenomena have been the subject for extensive theoretical and experimental investigations in recent times. In this talk, I propose to present a broad overview of the recent developments in this field, bringing out the striking features which show that a large number oflight nuclei near the neutron drip line are characterized by a clear separation between a ‘normal’ core nucleus and a loosely bound low density veil of neutrons. Specifically, the two neutron halos offer a natural premises, from a theoretical standpoint, to employ three body techniques for studying their detailed structural properties. A considerable part of the talk will be devoted to report and highlight the results on a number of light halo nuclei such as 11Li, 11Be, 19B and 22C on which we have been carrying out investigations employing a simple but realistic three body model. These three body systems which have been termed as ‘Borromean’ (i.e while three body systems are bound, the corresponding binary subsystems on the other hand are unbound) are characterized by large spacial extension and very low separation energy of the neutron. They are, therefore, ideally suited for exploring the possibility of the existence of Efimov states in two neutron halo nuclei. We have recently carried out the three body analyses to predict the possibility of the occurrence of such states on which experimental work at various laboratories is underway.  相似文献

The glassy compositions of Ge 16 Se 52 Te 32?x Sb x system, obtained using rapid melt quenching technique, have been characterized by calorimetric study at different heating rates in this study. A systematic investigation of the crystallization kinetics is carried out for these compositions. Composition corresponding to atomic % 8 of Sb has good thermal stability. The material exhibits the unique thermal properties, which makes it suitable to use for electrical or memory switching devices. Various thermal parameters, activation energies of glass transition and crystallization are calculated using relevant approaches.  相似文献

In this article we compare the classical monopole mass filter of von Zahn and the monopole mass filter with a hyperbolic V-shaped electrode. The experimental results and those of computer simulation for both mass spectrometers are presented. We show that the replacement of a conventional 90 degrees V-shaped electrode by an electrode with a hyperbolic profile substantially improves the peak shape of any given mass, and increases the mass resolution by a factor of 3-4 and the abundance sensitivity by a factor of 100. The potential of high analytical performance combined with electroforming techniques for electrode manufacture indicate future practical uses of such instruments. The present article deals with the differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) study of Se?CTe glasses containing Sn. DSC runs are taken at four different heating rates (10, 15, 20 and 25?K?min?1). The crystallization data are examined in terms of modified Kissinger, Matusita equations, Mahadevan method and Augis and Bennett approximation for the non-isothermal crystallization. The activation energy for crystallization (E c) is evaluated from the data obtained at different heating rates. Activation energy of glass transition is calculated by Kissinger??s relation and Moynihan theory. The glass forming tendency is also calculated for each composition. The glass transition temperature and peak crystallization temperature increases with the increase in Sn % as well as with the heating rate.  相似文献

A series of anthraquinone (C(14)O(2)H(8)) derivatives has been studied by means of electron capture negative ion mass spectrometry (ECNI-MS), photoelectron spectroscopy (PES), and AM1 quantum chemical calculations. Mean lifetimes of molecular negative ions M(-.) (MNI) have been measured. The mechanism of long-lived MNI formation in the epithermal energy region of incident electrons has been investigated. A simple model of a molecule (a spherical potential well with the repulsive centrifugal term) has been applied for the analysis of the energy dependence of cross sections at the first stage of the electron capture process. It has been shown that a temporary resonance of MNI at the energy approximately 0.5 eV corresponds to a shape resonance with lifetime 1-2.10(-13) s in the f-partial wave (l = 3) of the incident electron. The next resonant state of MNI at the energy approximately 1.7 eV has been associated with the electron excited Feshbach resonance (whose parent state is a triplet npi* transition). In all cases the initial electron state of the MNI relaxes into the ground state by means of a radiationless transition, and the final state of the MNI is a nuclear excited resonance with a lifetime measurable on the mass spectrometry timescale. A bilinear time series (BLTS) model is expressed in the form of Akaike's Markovian representation in order to use the Kalman recursive estimation approach. It is shown that Akaike's Markovian representation of autoregressive moving average models of orderp and q (ARMA(p,q)) and that of the bilinear model are equivalent. This equivalence facilitates the maximum likelihood estimation of the parameters involved in the bilinear model, which otherwise is an unwieldy problem. A sensitive and reliable high‐performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) was developed and validated for simultaneous quantification IC87114, roflumilast (RFM), and its active metabolite roflumilast N‐oxide (RFN) using tolbutamide as an internal standard. The analytes were extracted by using liquid–liquid extraction and separated on a reverse phase C18 column (50 mm × 3 mm i.d., 4.6 µ) using methanol: 2 mM ammonium acetate buffer, pH 4.0 as mobile phase at a flow rate 1 mL/min in gradient mode. Selective reaction monitoring was performed using the transitions m/z 398.3 > 145.9, 403.1 >186.9, 419.1 > 187.0 and 271.1 > 155.0 to quantify quantification IC87114, RFM, RFN and tolbutamide, respectively. The method was validated over the concentration range of 0.1–60 ng.mL?1 for RFM and RFN and 6 to 2980 ng.mL?1 for IC87114. Intra‐ and inter‐day accuracy and precision of validated method were within the acceptable limits of <15% at all concentrations. Coefficients of correlation (r2) for the calibration curves were >0.99 for all analytes. The quantitation method was successfully applied for simultaneous estimation of IC87114, RFM and RFN in a pharmacokinetic drug–drug interaction study in Wistar rats. The dielectric relaxation time (τ) of binary mixtures of different molar concentrations of pyridine (C5H5N) and chlorobenzene (C6H5Cl) in benzene solution at different temperatures (25, 30, 35 and 40 °C) has been calculated by using standard microwave techniques and Gopala Krishna's single frequency (9.875 GHz) concentration variation method. The energy parameters (ΔHε, ΔFε, and ΔSε) for the dielectric relaxation process of the binary mixture containing 0.5 mol fraction of pyridine have been calculated at the respective temperatures. Comparisons have been made with the corresponding energy parameters for the viscous flow (ΔHη, ΔFη, and ΔSη). From the observations it is found that the dielectric relaxation process can be treated as the rate process. Based upon above studies, solute–solvent type of molecular associations arising from the interaction of chlorobenzene and benzene and pyridine and benzene molecules has been proposed. No solute–solute type of molecular association has been observed.  相似文献
