We calculate the energy momentum tensor to orderE 4 in chiral perturbation theory. New terms not present in previous work enter the effective Lagrangian. We describe these and estimate the values of the new coupling constants, using the results of a disperisve analysis of the π andK energy momentum tensors and relying on tensor meson dominance for the spin two component. In addition, we compare our findings with the predictions of known scalar meson dominance models of the conformal anomaly.  相似文献

Traditional hot injection methods for the preparation of cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (CsPbX3 PNCs, where X=Cl, Br, or I) rely on small molecule surfactants to produce PNCs with cube, plate, or rod-like morphologies. Here, we describe a new method whereby zwitterionic block copolymers are employed as macromolecular ligands in PNC synthesis, affording PNCs with excellent colloidal stability, high photoluminescence quantum yield, and in some cases distinctly non-cubic shapes. The block copolymers used in this study – composed of a poly(n-butyl methacrylate) hydrophobic block and zwitterionic methacrylate hydrophilic blocks – dissolve in useful solvents for PNC growth despite containing large mole percentages of zwitterionic groups. PNCs prepared with block copolymer ligands were found to disperse and retain their fluorescence in a range of polar organic solvents and were amenable to direct integration into optically transparent nanocomposite thin films with high PNC content.  相似文献

We describe a superparallel holographic optical correlator that performs two-dimensional spatial and angular multiplexing simultaneously. The key step in this architecture is the use of a holographic multiplexer to split a query image into many copies before it applies them to the holographic database. A holographic demultiplexer, in conjunction with an aperture, is used to identify the location and the angle of the brightest correlation peak. This architecture uses only O(square root of N) detector elements to search through N unsorted images in a single query. We demonstrate the basic features of this architecture, using three spatial locations with eight angle-multiplexed images in each location.  相似文献

Insight into copper-oxygen species proposed as intermediates in oxidation catalysis is provided by the identification of a Cu(II)-superoxide complex supported by a sterically hindered, pyridinedicarboxamide ligand. A tetragonal, end-on superoxide structure is proposed based on DFT calculations and UV-vis, NMR, EPR, and resonance Raman spectroscopy. The complex yields a trans-1,2-peroxodicopper(II) species upon reaction with [(tmpa)Cu(CH(3)CN)]OTf and, unlike other known Cu(II)-superoxide complexes, acts as a base rather than an electrophilic (H-atom abstracting) reagent in reactions with phenols.  相似文献

Mineral zircon contains trace amounts (typically 10-1000 v ppm) of the f -emitters uranium and thorium, which irradiate this mineral internally. This outstanding feature of zircon turns out to be extremely useful when this mineral is applied as a thermoluminescence (TL) dating medium, because the build-up of the age-dependent luminescence is dominated by the presence of well-defined internal radioactive sources and the contributions to the dose from external radiation sources are two orders of magnitude smaller. The results presented in this paper have led us to the conclusion that for zircon dating it is necessary to carefully select the best and homogeneous zircon grains of the highest optical quality. For successful dating experiments on very young and historically well-defined coastal dune sands, selection of the most stable luminescence component by means of narrow band interference filters is needed. Our results suggest that ultimately optical zircon dating will allow us to determine the age of extremely young samples ( e.g. 12 months!).  相似文献

Kruteskii's work on the mathematical abilities of school children is a seminal work on the nature of mathematical ability. However, the task of developing methods for the practical application of his work is still a significant problem in mathematics education. The authors have developed a practical application of Kruteskii's approach to the important problem of initially developing components of mathematical ability in student and thereafter identifying mathematically promising students. Examples of problems that were designed to develop ability to generalize, flexibility and reversibility of mental processes are presented. A practical guide for determining the level of development of components of mathematical abilities in individual students, in terms of specified observables, is presented as a set of structured reference tables. The authors set out a practical application protocol that combines use of the tables and sets of specially developed problems for initial development of mathematical abilities prior to identification of mathematically promising students in the general classroom. A significant motivation for this work is the desire to avoid time-consuming and resource intensive practices such as interviews and summer schools which therefore have been used successfully because these practices are now out of reach for all but very wealthy countries or highly ideologically driven systems. On the other hand, special examinations heavily depend on the level of preparedness of the students for the particular examination, and therefore some students with high abilities but with fewer opportunities to prepare could be overlooked.  相似文献
