Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy in the UV, visible, and near-IR regions is found to allow the detection and identification of lanthanide oxides, fluorides, sulfides, and sulfofluorides without decomposing and dissolving samples. The paper studies the Painlevé VIe equations from the point of view of Hamiltonian nonintegrability. For certain infinite number of points in the parameter
space we prove that the equations are not integrable. Our approach uses recent advance in Hamiltonian integrability reducing
the problem to higher differential Galois groups as well as the monodromy of dilogarithic functions.

Hydrodechlorination of chlorobcnzene by chemically bound hydrogen in the presence of transition metal compounds was studied. Alkali and alkaline earth metal hydrides (NaH, MgH2, LiAlH4, NaH(LiAlH4)/12) were used as the sources of the chemically bound hydrogen. The effect of the natures of the hydride and of the transition metal on the activity was studied under comparable conditions. The Pd/C-NaH(LiAlH41/2 catalytic system was found to be the most active. The construction of hybrid metal-ion batteries faces a plethora of challenges. A critical one is to unveil the solvation/desolvation processes at the molecular level in electrolytes that ensure efficient transfer of several types of charge carriers. This study reports first results on simulations of mixed-ion electrolytes. All combinations of homo- and hetero-binuclear complexes of Li+, Na+ and Mg2+, solvated with varying number of ethylene carbonate (EC) molecules are modeled in non-polar and polar environment by means of first principles calculations and compared to the mononuclear analogues in terms of stability, spatial organization, charge distribution and solvation/desolvation behavior. The used PF6− counterion is shown to have minor impact on the geometry of the complexes. The desolvation energy penalty of binuclear complexes can be lowered by the fluoride ions, emerging upon the PF6− decay. These model investigations could be extended to rationalize the solvation structure and ionic mobility in dual-ion electrolytes. 相似文献
