The renormalization method of Bogoljubov-Parasiuk-Hepp-Zimmermann (BPHZ) is used in order to derive the renormalized energy shift due to the gauge invariant K?llén-Sabry diagram of the two-photon vacuum polarization (VPVP) as well as the self energy vacuum polarization S(VP)E beyond the Uehling approximation. It is outlined, that no outer renormalization is required for the two-photon vacuum polarization and that only the inner renormalization has to be accomplished. It is shown that the so-called nongauge invariant spurious term is absent for a wide class of vacuum polarization (VP) diagrams if one applies the widely used spherical expansion of bound and free-electron propagator. This simplifies significantly calculations in bound state quantum electrodynamics. As one result of our paper the use of the BPHZ-approach in bound state QED is established. Employing the semiclassical approximation we calculate within the coupled-state formalism the ionization probability in antiproton-hydrogen (p+H) collisions. In particular we investigate the adiabatic ionization at the distance of closest approach in almost central collisions. Striking differences in the electron excitation probability compared with proton-hydrogen (p+H) collisions are predicted.  相似文献

We present calculations ofK-shell ionization probabilities in asymmetric ion-atom collisions at relativistic velocities of the projectile. The time-dependent Dirac equation is represented as a system of coupled differential equations. The transition probabilities are determined using the coordinate space method. This necessitates an extension of the angular momentum coupling compared with nonrelativistic collision systems. Effects of the relativistic projectile motion on the coupling matrix elements and their consequences onK-shell ionization are discussed.  相似文献

The emission of high-energy-rays in the deexcitation of hot40Ca and39K nuclei formed in heavy-ion fusion reactions at excitation energyE x 90 MeV has been studied. The high energy-rays were measured in coincidence with evaporation residues or light charged particles. The spectrum from the self-conjugated compound nucleus40Ca shows an appreciable yield suppression in the Giant Dipole Resonance (GDR) energy region with respect to the39K, due to isospin selection rules in the dipole-decay. The spectral line shapes of the spectra are well reproduced by using a statistical code which treats explicitly the isospin quantum number in evaluating level densities and transmission coefficients. The GDR parameters determined from the present coincidence measurements are in good agreement with the systematic in theA 40 mass region at lower bombarding energy based on the analysis of inclusive spectra.We thank M. A rigorous QED theory of the spectral line profiles is applied to transition probabilities in few-electron highly charged ions. Interelectron interaction corrections are included as well as radiative corrections. Parity nonconserving (PNC) amplitudes with effective weak interactions between the electrons and nucleus are also considered. QED and interelectron interaction corrections to the PNC amplitudes are derived.  相似文献

We present an analytical evaluation of radiative corrections in exotic atoms induced by the one-loop electronic vacuum polarization. We evaluate corrections to the energy levels, to the wave function (at the origin) and to the hyperfine structure. We treat all corrections analytically within a non-relativistic approximation. Agreement is found with a few available numerical results. The analytical treatment allows to determine the asymptotic forms of the corrections in the limit of a small atomic radius, which for the atomic systems considered corresponds to a large mass of the constituent particle as compared to the electron mass. A new phenomenological cluster-hadronisation model is presented. Its specific features are the incorporation of soft colour reconnection, a more general treatment of diquarks including their spin and giving rise to clusters with baryonic quantum numbers, and a dynamic separation of the regimes of clusters and hadrons according to their masses and flavours. The distinction between the two regions automatically leads to different cluster decay and transformation modes.
