In order to check whether superconductivity occurs in the acceptor doped fullerenes C60(MF6)2 (M=As, P, Sb) and to study their magnetic and structural properties, we have carried out magnetic, EPR and NMR measurements of these compounds. Temperature dependences of magnetic susceptibility down to 5 K and field dependences of magnetic moment at 5 K show no ‘bulk’ transition in superconducting state. Some reasons of the absence of superconductivity, such as insufficient charge transfer between C60 and intercalated species and inhomogeneity of the compounds under study, are discussed.  相似文献

The catalytic activity of MIMIIO3] perovskite-type complex oxides (MI = La, Y, Nd, Yb; MII = Co, Mn, Ni) in the oxidation of CO, propylene, benzene, ethylbenzene,o-xylene, and ethyl acetate was investigated. The Co-containing catalysts were shown to be more active in the oxidation than the Mn-containing catalysts. Manganites with a spinel structure MMn2O4 (M = Co, Cu, Zn, Mo) and M1 0.5M2 0.5 Mn2O4 (M = Co, Cu, Zn, Mg) have been synthesized and tested in the catalytic oxidation of CO, C3H6, and ethylbenzene. The dependence of the catalytic activity of the manganites on the nature of the cation has been established. The spinels containing transition metal ions (Cu, Co) are more active. A relation between catalytic and adsorption properties of manganites has been established. The participation of the lattice oxygen in the oxidation of CO to CO2 has been found. The catalytic activity of MIMII 2O3 spinel-type complex oxides (MI = Cu, Ni, Mn, Zn, Mg, Co, MII = Co, Cr, Al) in the oxidation of CO and ethylbenzene has been investigated. In this paper, the technique of electrostatic precipitation was used to remove excess ions from a mixture with charged particles before collection on a filter in a Faraday cup electrometer of an electrical aerosol detector. The ion precipitator part of the detector was designed, constructed, and evaluated. An analytical model was developed to investigate ion and particle transports due to diffusion and space charge effects inside the ion precipitator. Experimental investigations were carried out for positive ions, the positively applied voltage at the wire electrode ranged from 10 to 150 V, ion flow rates ranged from 5 to 15 L/min, and the radial distance of the inlet was 0.15 and 14 mm at a fixed separation between the wire and outer electrodes. The calculation results showed that all charged particles of 10 nm in diameter could pass through the ion precipitator smoothly without precipitation at the outer electrode. For all ion flow rates, an increase in ion trap voltage produced an increase in ion collection efficiency of the precipitator. Experiments confirmed that the efficiency of the ion precipitator could increase to 99% at an ion trap voltage larger than 100 V for all ion flow rates.  相似文献

We report on electron paramagnetic resonance and nuclear magnetic resonance study of graphene oxide produced by the Hummers method. We show that this compound reveals isolated Mn2+ ions, which originate from potassium permanganate used in the process of the sample preparation. These ions are likely anchored to the graphene oxide planes and contribute to the 1H and 13C spin–lattice relaxation.  相似文献

The influence of thermal molecular motions on spin echo decay in pure nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) is considered. Our calculations show that the Hahn echo decay is caused by dipole-dipole interaction of the nuclear spins and is strongly affected by molecular mobility that can lead to the shortening of the echo decay with increased temperature. Slow molecular motion yields an exponential τ3 time dependence, while fast motion yields an exponential decay. The outlined theory allows us to explain an unusual shortening of the35Cl NQR echo decay on heating in thiourea-C2Cl6 inclusion compound.  相似文献
