The pulsed laser deposition technique has been applied to prepare amorphous ternary AgSbS films. The films were prepared from AgSbS2 bulk glass using a KrF excimer laser. The composition of prepared films according to the results of the energy dispersive X-ray analysis and the Rutherford backscattering was close to bulk one. Optical transmission and spectral dependence of the refractive index proved the good optical quality of the films. The Ar+ ion laser dot exposures of the films show a potential applicability of the films as a new type of optical recording material. PACS 78.66.Jg; 81.15.Fg; 81.40.Wx  相似文献

We report on the photoelectrochemical and terahertz measurements, of the charge transport properties of 1 μm thick self‐organized TiO2 nanotube layers, prepared by the anodization of titanium. We provide evidence regarding the complexity of electron transport, and dynamics in the nanotubes. Shortly after photoexcitation, charge mobilites in amorphous and crystalline nanotubes are similar, but still lower compared to the bulk anatase. The mobility subsequently decreases due to trapping‐detrapping processes. The recombination rate in anatase nanotubes is much slower than in the amorphous ones, enabling the material to reach an internal photon to electron conversion efficiency exceeding 60%.  相似文献

Grid convergence studies for subsonic and transonic flows over airfoils are presented in order to compare the accuracy of several spatial discretizations for the compressible Navier–Stokes equations. The discretizations include the following schemes for the inviscid fluxes: (1) second-order-accurate centered differences with third-order matrix numerical dissipation, (2) the second-order convective upstream split pressure scheme (CUSP), (3) third-order upwind-biased differencing with Roe's flux-difference splitting, and (4) fourth-order centered differences with third-order matrix numerical dissipation. The first three are combined with second-order differencing for the grid metrics and viscous terms. The fourth discretization uses fourth-order differencing for the grid metrics and viscous terms, as well as higher-order approximations near boundaries and for the numerical integration used to calculate forces and moments. The results indicate that the discretization using higher-order approximations for all terms is substantially more accurate than the others, producing less than two percent numerical error in lift and drag components on grids with less than 13,000 nodes for subsonic cases and less than 18,000 nodes for transonic cases. Since the cost per grid node of all of the discretizations studied is comparable, the higher-order discretization produces solutions of a given accuracy much more efficiently than the others.  相似文献

Electronic transitions of Pr3+ ions in Ga-Ge-Sb-Se glasses corresponding to emissions in the infrared region were studied by means of absorption and emission spectroscopies and fluorescence lifetimes measurements. Transition probabilities, radiative lifetimes, branching ratios, and quantum efficiencies of most of the emission transitions including the infrared ones occurring around 1.3, 1.7, and 2.4 μm were estimated based on a standard Judd-Ofelt analysis.  相似文献

The densities of solutions of 1-octanol, 1-nonanol, and 1-decanol in cyclohexane up to concentrations of 1.56 mol kg–1 were measured at temperatures between 20 and 60°C. The apparent molar volumes and expansibilities were found to be linearly dependent on solute concentration. The excess molar volume and the excess thermal expansion coefficient of the solute were derived from the partial molar volume of the solute at infinite dilution and the solute densities. In addition, the limiting partial molar volume of the solute is discussed in terms of the scaled particle theory.  相似文献

This work describes optimal conditions for the determination of chlorpromazine and thioridazine by DPV, with a detection limit of 4.0 x 10(-7)M (0.16 microg/ml). The well-defined peaks indicate that direct measurement in a medium of 0.03 M perchloric acid in acetonitrile is possible and the use of DPV is advantageous when small amounts are to be determined. The sample procedure for pharmaceutical tablets is simple and fast. The method is useful for control of the quality and purity of phenothiazine drugs. The possibility of using numerical analysis to resolve composite signals of the compounds studied has also been demonstrated.  相似文献

A method is reported here for the determination of ionization energies of liquids or solutions by means of photoelectron spectroscopy (PES). It is, to our knowledge, the first determination of its kind in liquid-phase ultraviolet PES. A number of applications is foreseen.  相似文献

Infection by Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). Breath analysis could potentially be a useful diagnostic of such infection, and analyses of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted from PA cultures are an important part of the search for volatile breath markers of PA lung infection. Our pilot experiments using solid‐phase microextraction, SPME and gas chromatography/mass spectrometric (GC/MS) analyses of volatile compounds produced by PA strains indicated a clear presence of methyl thiocyanate. This provided a motivation to develop a method for real‐time online quantification of this compound by selected ion flow tube mass spectrometry, SIFT‐MS. The kinetics of reactions of H3O+, NO+ and O2+? with methyl thiocyanate at 300 K were characterized and the characteristic product ions determined (proton transfer for H3O+, rate constant 4.6 × 10–9 cm3 s–1; association for NO+, 1.7 × 10–9 cm3 s–1 and nondissociative charge transfer for O2+?, 4.3 × 10–9 cm3 s–1). The kinetics library was extended by a new entry for methyl thiocyanate accounting for overlaps with isotopologues of hydrated hydronium ions. Solubility of methyl thiocyanate in water (Henry's law constant) was determined using standard reference solutions and the linearity and limits of detection of both SIFT‐MS and SPME‐GC/MS methods were characterized. Thirty‐six strains of PA with distinct genotype were cultivated under identical conditions and 28 of them (all also producing HCN) were found to release methyl thiocyanate in headspace concentrations greater than 6 parts per billion by volume (ppbv). SIFT‐MS was also used to analyze the breath of 28 children with CF and the concentrations of methyl thiocyanate were found to be in the range 2–21 ppbv (median 7 ppbv). The use of amorphous chalcogenides offers advantages such as remarkable optical properties like a wide transmission window (∼1-20 μm) depending upon composition, making them suitable for sensitive detection of clinical or environmental changes. They also present interesting high (non)linear refractive indices, photorefractive effects, and other properties interesting for wavelength conversion, all-optical switching or modulation, Raman and parametric amplification, laser sources for mid-IR, etc.Slab waveguides based on chalcogenide amorphous films with good adherence and controlled composition can be obtained using pulsed laser deposition allowing to design and to manufacture complex optical functions on waveguides within a small and compact chip. The aim of this work is to characterize the ejection plume obtained by laser ablation of AsxSe100−x samples in order to get some insight on the process involved for optimizing the pulsed laser deposition process. The dynamics of the plume has been systematically investigated by ICCD camera fast imaging and space- and time-resolved optical emission spectroscopy for samples of various compositions.  相似文献

The aim of work was to characterize a simple oscillator consisted of Tm:YLF crystal end-pumped by a fiber coupled diode laser and active Q-switch with tunability option. About 7 W with near 35% slope efficiency was demonstrated in a free-running mode. The divergence angle was about 4.3 mrad and estimated parameter M2 < 1.3. Continuous tuning by means of Lyot’s filter, consisted of 2 quartz plates in the range of 1879.0–1939.4 nm with less than 1-nm linewidth, was achieved. For the best case (10-ms pump pulse duration, 42-A pump current corresponding to 266 mJ of pump energy), the Q-switched energy was 10.5 mJ with pulse duration of 22 ns corresponding to near 0.5 MW peak power. The 2.5 W of average power with 12.6-kW peak power and 2000-Hz repetition rate was demonstrated for cw pumping regime.  相似文献
