Phenols, anilines, and malonates have been arylated under metal‐free conditions with twelve aryl(phenyl)iodonium salts in a systematic chemoselectivity study. A new “anti‐ortho effect” has been identified in the arylation of malonates. Several “dummy groups” have been found that give complete chemoselectivity in the transfer of the phenyl moiety, irrespective of the nucleophile. An aryl exchange in the diaryliodonium salts has been observed under certain arylation conditions. DFT calculations have been performed to investigate the reaction mechanism and to elucidate the origins of the observed selectivities. These results are expected to facilitate the design of chiral diaryliodonium salts and the development of catalytic arylation reactions that are based on these sustainable and metal‐free reagents. 相似文献

The first total synthesis of resveratrone and iso-resveratrone based on an epoxide olefination approach is described. The pivotal reaction proceeds by insertion of the lithiated epoxide into a boronic ester and subsequent syn-elimination. Resveratrone has been described to have remarkable photophysical properties, including two-photon absorption. A fast, high-yielding synthesis of diaryl ethers with use of mild and metal-free conditions has been developed. The scope includes bulky ortho-substituted diaryl ethers, which are difficult to obtain by metal-catalyzed protocols. Halo-substituents, racemization-prone amino acid derivatives, and heteroaromatics are also tolerated. The methodology is expected to be of high utility in the synthesis of complex molecules and in the pharmaceutical industry. 相似文献

Direct thermally induced reactions between rare earth metals (Ln = Y,Ce, Dy, Ho, and Er) activated by Hg metal and 3,5‐diphenylpyrazole (Ph2pzH) or 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylpyrazole (tBu2pzH) yielded either homoleptic complexes [Lnn(R2pz)3n] or a heteroleptic complex [Ln(Ph2pz)3(Ph2pzH)2] From Ph2pzH, [Ce3(Ph2pz)9], [Dy2(Ph2pz)6], [Ho2(Ph2pz)6], and [Y(Ph2pz)3(Ph2pzH)2] were isolated. The first has a bowed trinuclear Ce3 backbone with two η2 pyrazolate ligands on the terminal metal atoms and one on the middle, and bridging by both μ‐η2:η2 and μ‐η2:η5 ligands between the terminal and the central Ce atoms. Although both the Dy and Ho complexes are dinuclear, the former has the rare μ‐η2:η1 bridging whilst the latter has μ‐η2:η2 bridging. Thus the dysprosium complex is seven‐coordinate and the holmium is eight‐coordinate, in contrast to any correlation with Ln3+ ionic radii, and the series has a remarkable structural discontinuity. The heteroleptic Y complex is eight coordinate with three chelating Ph2pz and two transoid unidentate Ph2pzH ligands. From tBu2pzH, dimeric [Ln2(tBu2pz)4] (Ln = Ce, Er) were isolated and are isomorphous with eight coordinate Ln atoms ligated by two chelating terminal tBu2pz and two μ‐η2:η2 tBu2pz donor groups. They are also isomorphous with previously reported La, Nd, Yb, and Lu complexes. 相似文献

This research was focused on the preparation of mixed metal oxide pigments doped with terbium ions with the general formula of Sn0.752Co0.08P0.16Tb0.008O2. These pigments were synthesised by solid-state reactions at high calcination temperatures. The temperature range was chosen from 1350 to 1500 °C. The goal was to develop conditions for the synthesis of this type of pigments and to determine the influence of terbium ions on the colour properties of these compounds. All prepared pigments were applied into the organic matrix and into the ceramic glaze. Thermal behaviours of the reaction mixtures were investigated using differential thermal and thermogravimetric analysis. Synthesised Sn0.752Co0.08P0.16Tb0.008O2 pigments were compared with concurrently prepared pigment Sn0.760Co0.08P0.16O2 depending on the calcination temperature with respect to the colour properties in CIE L*a*b* colour space, furthermore from the point of particle size distribution and phase composition. All compounds provided blue–violet hues that are stable in ceramic glazes. 相似文献

YAlO3: Sm3+ phosphor has been synthesized by the solid state reaction method with calcium flouride used as a flux. The resulting YAlO3: Sm3+ phosphor was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique, Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), photoluminescence . . PL excitation spectrum was found at 254,332,380,400,407, 603 and 713 nm. Under excitation of UV(713 nm) YAlO3: Sm3+ (0–3 %) broad band emission were observed from 400 to 790 nm with a maximum around 713 nm of YAlO3 host lattice accompanied by weak emission of Sm3+ (4G5/2 – 6H5/2, 6H7/2,6H9/2) transitions. The results of the XRD show that obtained YAlO3: Sm3+ phosphor has a orthorhombic structure. The study suggested that Sm3+ doped phosphors are potential luminescence material for laser diode pumping and inorganic scintillators. 相似文献

New covalently linked sulfonic acid modified silicas have been formed and characterised and their catalytic Brönsted activity evaluated. Thus phenylmercaptoethyltrimethoxysilane, (MeO)3SiCH2CH2SC6H5 and benzylmercaptoethyltrimethoxysilane, (MeO)3SiCH2CH2SCH2C6H5, were used to prepare the corresponding T-functional silica derivatives silica CH2CH2SC6H4-4-SO3H and silica CH2CH2SCH2C6H4-4-SO3H by grafting on commercial silica, followed by sulfonation of the aryl group. Solid-state NMR, DTA and surface area characteristics of the materials are reported. The mercaptophenylsulfonic acid materials are thermally robust highly efficient solid catalysts for a range of transformations including, esterification, etherification and carbonyl group protection. An apparent pore size effect on rate of conversion was observed. The mercaptobenzylsulfonic acid materials were comparatively unstable. 相似文献
