Developing a material that can combat antibiotic‐resistant bacteria, a major global health threat, is an urgent requirement. To tackle this challenge, we synthesized a multifunctional subphthalocyanine (SubPc) polymer nanosphere that has the ability to target, label, and photoinactivate antibiotic‐resistant bacteria in a single treatment with more than 99 % efficiency, even with a dose as low as 4.2 J cm−2 and a loading concentration of 10 nM . The positively charged nanosphere shell composed of covalently linked SubPc units can increase the local concentration of photosensitizers at therapeutic sites. The nanosphere shows superior performance compared to corresponding monomers presumably because of their enhanced water dispersibility, higher efficiency of singlet‐oxygen generation, and phototoxicity. In addition, this material is useful in fluorescence labeling of living cells and shows promise in photoacoustic imaging of bacteria in vivo.  相似文献

The electrical conductivity at 10GHz, the dielectric constant, and the thermoelectric power (TEP) of [(C6H5)3PCH3]+(TCNQ)-2, from 230 up to 400 K, have been measured. This organic quasi-one-dimensional solid undergoes a first order phase transition at 314 K. At the transition the conductivity increases by a factor of 2.2 and the activation energy drops to 0.26 from 0.31 eV. At 314 K TEP decreases abruptly from -75 to -60μVK-1 and remains almost constant for T > 314 K. The dielectric permeability ?0 is constant and equal to 5 in the low temperature phase, increases abruptly by 7% at the transition, and then depends strongly on temperature in the high temperature phase. Results of the high temperature phase are interpreted in terms of a strongly correlated salt.  相似文献

The channelling of 3 MeV protons in the 〈110〉 direction of silicon has been simulated using Vineyard model taking into account thermally vibrating nuclei and energy loss due to ion-electron interactions. A beam made up of constant energy particles but with spatial divergence has been simulated for the purpose. The values of the minimum scattering yield and half width of the channelling dip are shown to be depth sensitive and agree well with the measured values. The dependence of yield on the angle of incidence has been found to give information of all three types of channelling. The critical angles for the three types of channelling and wavelength of planar oscillations are consistent with the previous calculations.  相似文献

The maximum weight k-independent set problem has applications in many practical problems like k-machines job scheduling problem, k-colourable subgraph problem, VLSI design layout and routing problem. Based on DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) approach, an O(kn 2) time sequential algorithm is designed in this paper to solve the maximum weight k-independent set problem on weighted trapezoid graphs. In this paper, a sequential algorithm is presented to find all cut-vertices on trapezoid graphs. To every trapezoid graph G there is a corresponding trapezoid representation. If all the 4n corner points of n trapezoids, in a trapezoid representation of a trapezoid graph G with n vertices, are given, then the proposed sequential algorithm runs in O(n) time. Parallel implementation of this algorithm can be done in O(log n) time using O(n/ log n) processors on an EREW PRAM model.  相似文献

3‐(4‐Nitrophenylethenyl‐E)‐NH‐indole ( 1 ), 3‐(4‐nitrophenyl ethenyl‐E)‐N‐acetylindole ( 2 ), and 3‐(4‐nitrophenylethenyl‐E)‐N‐benzenesulfonylindole ( 3 ) are relatively less fluorescent in organic solvents, with fluorescence quantum yield (Φf) in the range of 0.002 to 0.066 depending on the solvent polarity. However, in bovine serum albumin (BSA)‐phosphate buffer, the fluorescence of these compounds gets drastically enhanced with Φf in the range of 0.21 to 0.67, depending on the substituent on the indolic nitrogen atom. Additionally, linear increase in the fluorescence intensity of 2 and 3 occurs on increasing the BSA concentration. These fluorescence properties together with the neutral, hydrophobic nature of these compounds make these fluorophores good fluorescence probe for studying the micropolarity of proteins like BSA and in general the ligand–protein interactions. Measurements of microwave conductivity of K-TCNQ in the temperature range 300–450 K are reported. K-TCNQ behaves as an extrinsic semiconductor with an activation energy of 0.26 eV below the spin-Peierls transition temperature of 396 K and 0.13 eV above the transition. A hystersis of about 1.5 K was observed. Carrier mobility appears to be reduced by a factor of 30 in the high temperature phase. A second type of crystal has been identified with room temperature conductivity two orders of magnitude higher than previously reported.  相似文献
