The utility of reusable ionic liquid-proline (or aldolase antibody 38C2) reaction system, proceeding the aldol reactions, is described. Further, obtained α-chloro-β-hydroxy compounds were transformed to the optically active α,β-epoxy carbonyl compounds. The aldolase antibody 38C2-ionic liquid system was able to reuse in Michael additions and the reaction of fluoromethylated imines. 相似文献

The essential oils from leaves, twigs and stems of large trees and shrub-like trees of Thuja sutchuenensis were extracted by hydrodistillation and supercritical fluid extraction, and analyzed by GC and GC-MS. The essential oil composition differed significantly among the three organs, as well as between large trees and shrub-like trees. Furthermore, consistent with the eastern Asia-North American disjunct distribution of the genus, many differences in the essential oil composition between T. sutchuenensis and other Thuja species were apparent. The essential oils exhibited a certain degree of antifungal activity against six strains of human pathogenic fungi. 相似文献

We have studied the trends in catalytic activity of several Co macrocyclics confined on the surface graphite electrodes for the oxidation of thiocyanate. A plot of log i (at constant E) versus the formal potential of the catalyst gives a volcano correlation, indicating that the Co(II/I) redox potential needs to be tuned, in order to achieve maximum reactivity. Graphite electrodes modified with Co phthalocyanine at pH 4 exhibit linear amperometric response for thiocyanate concentration in the range 10?7 and 10?3 M. Theoretical calculations show that electrocatalytic activity (as log i at constant E) plotted versus the energy of the LUMO of the Co complex also gives a volcano correlation. 相似文献

The purpose of this work was to evaluate the new bone tissue, comparing two different carriers for rhBMP-2, monoolein and chitosan gels, using the decortication and nondecorticatication surgical technique in rat mandibles, evaluated by histomorphometrical method. It was used 56 male Wistar rats (300g), divided into 8 groups according to the rhBMP-2 carrier used, monoolein or chitosan gels; surgical technique, bone decortication or nondecortication; and period of time, 3 or 6 weeks until the sacrifice by perfusion. Results obtained in this study showed that the rhBMP-2/monoolein and rhBMP-2/chitosan used in this experimental model was able to induce osteogenesis, contributing to the bone healing process. The bone repair process was time dependent, so that at 6 weeks there was an improved amount of new bone in relation to 3 weeks, considered each analyzed group, and the decortication was able to expose the bone marrow and speed up the bone healing process, which was showed by histomorphometrical methods. Both of carriers were capable to adapt to the bone surgical area, according to the clinical observations, and had favorable properties in relation to protein releasing, revealed by the amount of new bone tissue found in the histological analysis. 相似文献

Anatomical and physiologic components are parts of the stomatognathic system and their interaction results in integrated functional activities. Important alterations in the masticatory system originated by dental loss affect the bone, oral mucosa and muscular function. Dental arch structures specifically designed to receive and expose teeth allow performance of their functions. But the distinction between bony and soft tissues is lost when teeth are removed since there is not a specific function to be completed. The aim of this study was to evaluate the macroscopic and ultrastructural effects of the unilateral extraction of molar teeth on the suprahyoid muscles function, using twenty young male gerbils (Meriones unguiculatus) as the experimental animal model. They were divided in experimental malocclusion (n=10) and control (n=10) groups. The experimental malocclusion group was submitted to exodontia of the left upper molars and the control group was not submitted to this procedure and served as sham-operated. For macroscopic analysis of the suprahyoid muscle, the skin was uplifted and the muscles dissected individually and removed for weight analysis according to Scherle method. The electron microscopy analysis was made in ultra thin sections of small suprahyoid muscle fragments from the experimental and control groups, examined in a Jeol 1010, 880Kv transmission electron microscope. Several micrographs at magnifications of 3000x, 6000x, 30,000x were randomly selected for the qualitative analysis of the muscle fiber ultrastructures. Sixty days after the induced unilateral occlusal alteration no macroscopic morphologic changes was detected in the suprahyoid muscles and the muscle volume differences between the right and left sides and between groups were not significant. However, in the ultrastructural analysis suprahyoid muscles showed characteristics of specific adaptation to the unilateral occlusal alteration, by the reduced density of subsarcolemmal mitochondria and the shorter and less numerous ramifications in intermyofibrilar mitochondria localized between electronlucid myofibrils. It is concluded that unilateral exodontia of all the upper left molars affect the ultrastructural morphology of suprahyoid muscle fibers. 相似文献

The myotendon junction (MTJ) is a specialised area into the muscle fibers where the sarcoplasmic membranes connect to the collagen fibers bundles. There are few data about plasticity of the MTJ in aging processes. The aim of this study is to analyse the ultrastructure characteristics of MTJ of medial pterygoid muscle of adult and aged rats. Employing the transmission electron microscopy method, twenty male rats Wistar (Rattus norvegicus) were divided into two groups: A (n = 10) with 12 months of age; B (n = 10) 24 months of age. The animals were anaesthetised with overdose the urethane (3 g/kg, i.p.) and sacrified during the perfusion with modified Karnovsky solution. The specimens were post-fixed in a 1% osmium tetroxide solution, dehydrated in ascending concentration of ethanol and embedded in Spurr resin. The thin sections, of 90 nm thick, were counterstained with uranyl acetate and lead citrate solution, and examined in a Jeol 1010 transmission electron microscope. The fine structure of the MTJ of group A revealed the defined interdigitations and disposed in several levels of deep formations containing the collagen fibers. In the group B, such structures did not observed, detecting the projections irregular in shape, and large of extra matrix with in aspect of remodelling. In conclusion it was possible to identify the plasticity of MTJ in the group B which presented several morphological alterations comparing to the adult animals. These data of group B suggested the occurrence of aging processes in the MTJ in rats. 相似文献

In order to obtain a precise diagnosis and treatment for temporomandibular dysfunctions, it is necessary to have morphological and functional knowledge of the temporomandibular joint. Anatomic components are important to the understanding of the complexity of temporomandibular joint. Nonetheless, just as important are the anatomic relationships that this joint has with the neighboring structures. Thus, the aim of this study was to present the anatomic relationships of the temporomandibular joint in its various surfaces: external or lateral, anterior, posterior, medial, superior, and posterosuperior, considering the morphological and histological aspects. Nine human heads, fixed in formalin (10%) underwent sagittal medial section and were subsequently dissected, evidencing the anatomic components of all surfaces to be analyzed. Components of the external surface were: skin, subcutaneous tissue, lymphatic ganglia, parotid gland, superficial temporal artery, transverse facial artery, zygomatic-orbital artery, superficial temporal vein, facial and auriculotemporal nerves, masseter muscle, and pre-auricular lymphonodus. The anterior surface comprised the masseter and lateral pterygoid muscles (upper and inferior heads), pterygoid venous plexus, mandibular notch, posterior deep temporal artery, masseteric nerve, and deep posterior temporal branches. Medial surface components were: internal maxillary artery, of which middle meningeal artery was one of the closest branches to the TMJ, anterior tympanic artery, inferior alveolar, lingual, auriculotemporal, and chorda tympani nerves, which belonged to the surface posterior to the anterior wall of the auditory duct; auricolotemporal nerve, parotid gland; and petrotympanic fissure. The cerebral fossa (meninges and encephalon) belonged to the superior surface and the ear belonged to the posterosuperior surface. Histologically, the temporomandibular joint is composed by different tissues that compound the mandibular head, mandibular fossa, and articular eminence of the temporomandibular joint. It was concluded that the temporomandibular joint is a complex structure and the clinician must have the ability to formulate the diagnosis based on the understanding of morphological aspects of the structures that compose the stomatognatic system. 相似文献

The aim of the present study was to investigate the histological, biochemical and ultrastructural effects of occlusal alteration induced by unilateral exodontia on medial pterygoid muscle in guinea pigs, Cavia porcellus. Thirty (n=30) male guinea pigs (450g) were divided into two groups: experimental-animals submitted to exodontia of the left upper molars, and sham-operated were used as control. The duration of the experimental period was 60 days. Medial pterygoid muscles from ipsilateral and contralateral side were analyzed by histological (n=10), histochemical (n=10), and ultrastructural (n=10) methods. The data were submitted to statistical analysis. When the ipsilateral side was compared to the control group, it showed a significantly shorter neuromuscular spindle length (P<0.05), lower oxidative metabolic activity, and microvessel constriction, in spite of the capillary volume and surface density were not significantly different (P>0.05). In the contralateral side, the neuromuscular spindles showed significantly shorter length (P<0.05), the fibers reflected a higher oxidative capacity, the blood capillaries showed endothelial cell emitting slender sprouting along the pre-existing capillary, and significantly higher blood capillary surface density, and volume density (V(v)=89% Mann-Whitney test, P<0.05). This finding indicated a complex morphological and functional medial pterygoid muscle adaptation to occlusal alteration in this experimental model. Considering that neuromuscular spindles are responsible for the control of mandibular positioning and movements, the professional should consider if these changes interfere in the success of clinical procedures in medical field involving stomatognathic structures. 相似文献

Ten male young adult gerbils Meriones unguiculatus weighing 55g were divided in two groups: experimental (n=5) animals submitted to exodontia of the left upper molars, and sham-operated were used as control (n=5) group. The aim of the present study was to investigate the ultrastructural effects of occlusal alteration induced by unilateral exodontia on medial pterygoid muscle. After 60 days, the animals were sacrificed by perfusion intracardially with a modified Karnovsky solution after anesthetized with overdose of urethane (3g/kg i.p.). The small samples of this muscle were fixed in 2.5% glutaraldehyde solution and post-fixed in 1% buffered osmium tetroxide solution, dehydrated in ascending concentration of ethanol, and embedded in Spurr resin. Several micrographs data showed that in this period of time, the unilateral teeth extraction was able to induce modifications on the medial pterygoid muscle fibers and capillaries at ultrastructural levels as compared to control muscles and to the ones in the contralateral side of the experimental animals. Ultrastructural changes suggest that injury was greater in the hypofunctional muscle, ipsilateral to teeth extraction. 相似文献
