The tunneling conductance of Al-Al2O3-Ga junctions in a parallel magnetic field reveals Zeeman splitting of the superconducting quasiparticle density of states of the Ga. The magnitude of the splitting implies an unexpectedly small spin-orbit parameter b=0.6. 相似文献

Spin polarized tunneling measurements show that ferromagnetism is suppressed in films of Ni thinner than three atomic layers when in contact with Al. In contrast, ferromagnetism was found in Fe, Co, Gd, and Tm films only one atomic layer thick. Present results on Ni agree with anomalous Hall effect measurements, but do not agree with photoemission results. 相似文献

Conductance measurements of tunnel junctions formed between a superconductor (thin A1) and a ferromagnetic metal (Ni) in a magnetic field are used to resolve the tunneling conductance into conductances for each of the electron spin directions. This resolution can be used to obtain the spin densities of states of high field superconductors for which spin scattering processes are important. 相似文献
