In view of immense importance of silylenes and the fact that their properties undergo significant changes on substitution with halogens, here, we have used B3LYP/6-311++G** level of theory to access the effects of 1–4 halogens (X = F, Cl, Br, and I) on four unprecedented sets of cyclopentasilylene-2,4-dienes; with the following formulas: SiC4H3X ( 1 X ), SiC4H2X2 ( 2 X ), SiC4HX3 ( 3 X ), and SiC4X4 ( 4 X ). In going down from F to I, the singlet (s)-triplet (t) energy gap (ΔEs-t, a possible indication of stability), and band gap (ΔEH-L) decrease while nucleophilicity (N), chemical potential (μ), and proton affinity (PA) increase. The overall order of N, μ, and PA for each X is 2 X > 1 X > 3 X > 4 X . Precedence of 2 X over 1 X is attributed to the symmetric cross conjugation in the former. The highest and lowest N are shown by 2 I and 4 F . The trend of divalent angle () for each X is 4 X > 1 X > 3 X > 2 X . The results show that in going from electron withdrawing groups (EWGs) to electron donating groups (EDGs), the ΔEs-t and ΔEH-L decrease while N, μ, and PA increase. Also, rather high N of our scrutinized silylenes may suggest new promising ligands in organometallic chemistry.  相似文献

Cu(II) immobilized on mesoporous organosilica nanoparticles (Cu2+@MSNs‐(CO2?)2) has been synthesized, as a inorganic–organic nanohybrid catalyst, through a post‐grafting approach. Its characterization is carried out by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Energy dispersive X‐ray (EDX), Thermogravimetric/differential thermal analyses (TGA‐DTA), and Nitrogen adsorption–desorption analysis. Cu2+@MSNs‐(CO2?)2 exhibits high catalytic activity in the Biginelli reaction for the synthesis of a diverse range of 3, 4‐dihydropyrimidin‐2(1H)‐ones, under mild conditions. The anchored Cu(II) could not leach out from the surface of the mesoporous catalyst during the reaction and it has been reused several times without appreciable loss in its catalytic activity.  相似文献

An efficient solvent‐free method for the synthesis of various 3,4‐dihydropyrimidin‐2(1H)‐ones using TiO2 as a recyclable heterogeneous catalyst is described. Compared to known methods, satisfactory results are obtained with excellent yields, short reaction times, and simplicity in the experimental procedure.  相似文献

Coupling of a local triplet carbene with a local triplet nitrene through an acetylene linkage gives a new brand of high spin quintet minima ( \textX-\textC ··-\textC o \textC-\textN ·· ·· {\text{X}}{-}\mathop {\text{C}}\limits^{ \cdot \cdot }{-}{\text{C}} \equiv {\text{C}}{-}\mathop {\text{N}}\limits_{ \cdot \cdot }^{ \cdot \cdot } , where X = H, F, Cl, Br), which are rather experimentally unreachable. Placing the same linkage between the local open-shell singlet carbene (σ1π1) and the local triplet nitrene (π1π1) gives triplet minima which are 54–56 kcal/mol more stable than their corresponding quintets. The carbenic angles in both quintets and triplets follow electropositivity of X (H > Br > Cl > F), with every divalent angle in quintet being smaller than the corresponding one in the triplet. Finally no reactive intermediate is observed through connecting singlet states of carbene and nitrene subunits which gives a neutral linear molecule with X–C≡C–C≡N formula, and show about 70 kcal/mol more stability than the corresponding triplet states. Our results are compared at B3LYP, HF, MP2, MP4(SDTQ), CCSD(T), and QCISD(T) levels using 6-311++G** basis set.  相似文献

Magnetically separable CuO nanoparticles supported on graphene oxide (Fe3O4 NPs/GO-CuO NPs) is synthesized and characterized for the preparation of propargylamines in EtOH, at 90℃. Fe3O4 NPs/GO-CuO NPs is found to be an efficient catalyst for the A3-coupling of aldehydes, amines, and alkynes through C-H activation. Both aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes and alkynes are combined with secondary amines to provide a wide range of propargylamines in moderate to excellent yields.  相似文献

Relative stabilities and singlet–triplet energy differences are calculated for 24 C2NX azacarbenes (where X is H, F, Cl, and Br). Three skeletal arrangements are employed including azacyclopropenylidene, [(imino)methylene]carbene, and cyanocarbene. Halogens appear to alternate the electronic ground states of C2NH azacarbenes, from triplet to singlet states, at MP3/6‐311++G**, B1LYP/6‐311++G**, B3LYP/6‐311++G**, MP2/6‐311++G**, MP4(SDTQ)/6‐311++G**, QCISD(T)/6‐311++G**, CCSD(T)/6‐311++G**, CCSD(T)/cc‐pVTZ, G1, and G2 levels of theory. The aromatic characters of singlet cyclic azacyclopropenylidenes are measured using GIAO–NICS calculations. Linear correlations are found between the B3LYP/6‐311++G** calculated LUMO–HOMO energy gaps (ΔEHOMO ‐ LUMO) of the singlet carbenes versus their corresponding singlet–triplet energy separations (ΔE). Electrophilic characters are found for all singlet azacarbenes in their addition reactions to alkenes with the highest electrophilicity being exhibited for X = F. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Considering the importance of silylene ligands in transition metal-mediated catalytic reactions, we have scrutinized eight novel monodentate ( 1 – 4 ) and bidentate ( 1 - 4 ) derivatives of 2,5-diX-cyclopentasilylene-2,4-dienes (X = NH2, OH, PH2, and SH), at M06/6-311++G** level of theory. To probe the complexation ability of our scrutinized silylene ligands with Rh atom ( 1 Rh - 4 Rh and 1 Rh - 4 Rh , respectively), thermodynamic and structural parameters such as complexation energy (ΔECom), singlet-triplet energy gap (ΔEs-t), bond length, along with NBO and atoms in molecules analyses are provided. In going from less electron donating groups (EDGs) to more EDGs (NH2 > OH > PH2 > SH), the σ -donor strength and ligand flexibility increase. Structures 1 and 1 turn out as the most nucleophilic species for showing the highest nucleophilicity (N = 5.47 and 5.40 eV, respectively). Furthermore, they exhibit the highest proton affinity values (PA = 271.46 and 271.23 kcal/mol, respectively). The results indicate that bidentate coordination mode of silylene leads to a stronger Si-Rh complex. The overall orders of σ -donation ability for monodentate and bidentate silylene ligands are 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 and 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 , respectively.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline TiO2 is synthesized using a green combustion method and used as a recyclable catalyst for the one‐pot multicomponent synthesis of 1,8‐dioxodecahydroacridines and 1,8‐dioxooctahydroxanthenes, under solvent‐free conditions.
