The angular variations of the five-fold differential cross section obtained by using different wave functions of helium are
compared with experimental data. It is found that in the coplanar geometry two kinematical arrangements, (i) equal energy
sharing between the two ejected electrons with one of them ejected along the momentum transfer direction and the other along
varying direction and (ii) the Bethe ridge condition with fixed sum of ejected electron energies and varying angle between
them, are very sensitive to e-e correlations contained in the target wave function. This comparison has been used to show
that open-shell class of wave functions better incorporate e-e correlations than the closed-shell class. 相似文献

We prepared LiNi0.4Co0.6O2 nanofibers by electrospinning at the calcination temperature of 450 °C for 6 h. The prepared LiNi0.4Co0.6O2 nanofibers was characterized by thermal, X-ray diffraction, and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) studies. The morphology of LiNi0.4Co0.6O2 nanofibers was characterized by scanning electron microscopy studies. The asymmetric supercapacitor was fabricated using LiNi0.4Co0.6O2 nanofibers as positive electrode and activated carbon (AC) as negative electrode and a porous polypropylene separator in 1 M LiPF6–ethylene carbonate/dimethyl carbonate (LiPF6–EC:DMC) (1:1?v/v) as electrolyte. Cyclic voltammetry studies were then carried out in the potential range of 0 to 3.0 V at different scan rates which exhibited the highest specific capacitance of 72.9 F g?1. The electrochemical impedance measurements were carried out to find the charge transfer resistance and specific capacitance of the cell, and they were found to be 5.05 Ω and 67.4 F g?1, respectively. Finally, the charge–discharge studies were carried out at a current density of 1 mA cm?2 to find out the discharge-specific capacitance, energy density, and power density of the capacitor cell, and they were found to be 70.9 F g?1, 180.2 Wh kg?1, and 248.0 W kg?1, respectively. 相似文献

Biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles has received considerable attention due to their cost-effective, eco-friendly and medicinal values. In this study, silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were synthesised using the aqueous leaf extracts of Piper nigrum. TEM images revealed that the particle is spherical with 20–50 nm in size. Furthermore, to evaluate the toxicity of synthesized Ag NPs, fish Labeo rohita were exposed to two different concentrations (2.5 µg/L as the treatment I and 5 µg/L as treatment II) for 35 days, and antioxidant parameters and histology of gill, liver and kidney were examined. A biphasic response in the activity of glutathione S-transferases (GST) was observed in gill and liver of fish. GST activity in the kidney of fish was significantly increased when compared to control group. Glutathione reductase (GR) activity in organs/tissue of fish were found to be increased while peroxidase (POD) activity was significantly decreased. Histopathological changes such as hyperplasia, proliferation of epithelial cells and fusion of lamellae were observed in both the concentrations. In liver, necrosis, nuclear degeneration and dilation of sinusoids were observed. Subsequently, the representative effects of POD activity were assessed based on the Box–Behnken Equation, 3-D contour plot and ANOVA analysis through response surface methodology analysis. 相似文献

The symmetric sinc-Galerkin method developed by Lund, when appliedto the second-order self-adjoint boundary value problem, givesrise to a symmetric coefficient matrix has a special structureso that it can be advantageously used in solving the discretesystem. In this paper, we employ the preconditioned conjugategradient method with banded matrices as preconditioners. Weprove that the condition number of the preconditioned matrixis uniformly bounded by a constant independent of the size ofthe matrix. In particular, we show that the solution of an n-by-ndiscrete symmetric sinc-Galerkin system can be obtained in O(nlog n) operations. We also extend our method to the self-adjointelliptic partial differential equation. Numerical results aregiven to illustrate the effectiveness of our fast iterativesolvers. 相似文献

The angular distribution of the five-fold differential cross section for the electron impact double ionization of He (21
S) and He (23
S) has been studied. The kinematical conditions for maxima/minima in the angular distribution for the two cases have been compared.

Proline residues in helices play an important role in the structure of proteins. The proline residue introduces a kink in
the helix which varies from about 5° to 50°. The presence of other residues such as threonine or valine near the proline region
can influence the flexibility exhibited by the kinked helix, which can have an important biological role. In the present paper,
the constraint introduced by threonine and valine on a proline helix is investigated by molecular dynamics studies. The systems
considered are (1) a poly-alanine helix with threonine-proline residues (TP) and (2) a poly-alanine helix with valine-threonineproline
residues (VTP), in the middle. Molecular dynamics simulations are carried out on these two systems for500 ps. The results are analyzed in terms of structural transitions, bend-related parameters and sidechain orientations. 相似文献

Microwave absorption studies have been carried out on MgB2 superconductor using a standard X-band EPR spectrometer. The modulated low-field microwave absorption signals recorded for
polycrystalline (grain size ∼ 10 μm) samples suggested the absence of weak-link character. The field dependent direct microwave
absorption has been found to obey a ✓H dependence with two different slopes, which indicated a transition from strongly pinned lattice to flux flow regime. 相似文献

Y0.2CoFe1.8O4 nanopowders were prepared using a sol–gel combustion method. Metal nitrates, such as yttrium nitrate, cobalt nitrate and ferric nitrate, were used as the source materials. Citric acid and polyvinyl alcohol were used as the burning agent and agglomeration reducing agent, respectively. The pH of the precursor was maintained at 7. The mean crystallite size of the prepared ferrite was in the range of ∼20–70 nm. The inverse spinel structure, cubic morphology, and the identification of functional groups of the yttrium-doped cobalt ferrite were analyzed systematically using several analytical tools. 相似文献
