In proportion to the environmental pollution problems caused by organotin compounds, the genotoxicities of tin compounds in the environments have become of interest so as to estimate their safety in recent years. In this work, isolated λ-DNA (double-strand DNA) was incubated with inorganic tin(II) and tin(IV) and five organotin compounds [n-butyltin trichloride, di(n-butyltin) dichloride, methyltin trichloride, dimethyltin dichloride and trimethyltin chloride] in reaction systems both with and without hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) content. The tin compounds tested in this study did not induce DNA breakage in the absence of hydrogen peroxide. Divalent inorganic tin (SnCl2) and tetravalent inorganic tin (SnCl4) caused DNA breakage in the presence of hydrogen peroxide (10 mM), and the DNA damage activity of inorganic tin was much more potent in divalent inorganic tin (SnCl2) than in tetravalent inorganic tin (SnCl4). Divalent inorganic tin (SnCl2) induced DNA breakage in a concentration-dependent fashion at concentrations greater than 0.1 mM of SnCl2 in the presence of hydrogen peroxide (10 mM). The alignment of nematic liquid crystalline (LC) molecules with respect to the LC cell surface was regulated between the homeotropic (H) state and the parallel (P) state by the photochromic trans—cis isomerization of surface-attached azobenzene (Az) moieties. By bringing the angular-selective photoreaction into the system, the orientational order in the P state was significantly improved to attain a universal orientational axis over the entire irradiated area, which was rotatable and erasable photochemically. Laser pulse experiments revealed that the allignment relaxation time τ was reduced from 1000 to 30 ms by increasing the pulse intensity from 10 to 20 mJ cm−2. Dual counter-current chromatography (dual CCC) has been successfully applied to rapid sample preparation for the simultaneous determination of residual carbaryl, fenobucarb and methomyl in vegetable oil and citrus fruit. The citrus fruit samples were extracted with n-hexane solution containing stable isotopically labeled internal standards (methomyl-d3, fenobucarb-d3 and carbaryl-d9), and applied to dual CCC using a two-phase solvent system of n-hexane-acetonitrile to purify the carbamate pesticides from aliphatic sample matrix. The coiled column was rotated at 420 rpm, the lower mobile phase was introduced through the head toward the tail, and the upper mobile phase in the opposite direction. Due to the high partition efficiency of dual CCC, the lower phase fraction collected from 2 to 5 min after injection could be subjected to flow-injection tandem mass spectrometry directly after concentration. Repetitive sample injection can be performed at high reproducibility without a risk of contamination from the compounds retained in the column. 相似文献

We developed a new analysis method for the nine N-methyl carbamate pesticides in fruits and vegetables using ESI LC/MS/MS with direct sample injection into a short column. After extraction of the pesticides with ethyl acetate from sample, the extract is evaporated to dryness and redissolved in ultra pure water before injection into LC/MS/MS. The method needs no cleanup steps. The average recoveries from fruits and vegetables fortified at the level of 0.01 μg/g ranged from 56.0 to 119.1% with the coefficients of variation ranging from 0.2 to 7.6% for intra-day (n = 5 × 3 days) and from 0.8 to 18.4% for inter-day (n = 15). At the fortified level of 0.5 μg/g, the recoveries ranged from 67.7 to 119.3% with the coefficients of variation ranging from 0.5 to 7.8% for intra-day (n = 5 × 3 days) and from 0.9 to 14.8% for inter-day (n = 15). The method is considered to be satisfactory for the monitoring of the carbamate pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables, suggesting that the present method is applicable to other pesticide residues in foods. 相似文献

Fluorene‐based polymers containing various fluorinated benzene (fluorobenzene, p‐difluorobenzene, and tetrafluorobenzene) moieties were synthesized. In addition, perfluorooctylation of poly‐[(9,9‐dioctylfluorene‐2,7‐diyl)‐co‐(fluorene‐2,7‐diyl)] was carried out to afford fluorene‐based polymers with perfluorooctyl moiety at the 9‐position on the fluorene ring. To evaluate the effect of fluorine moiety, polymers containing nonfluorinated benzene moieties and nonfluorinated octyl groups were synthesized. The photoluminescence measurements indicated that all these polymers exhibited blue emission in solution, but a polymer containing a perfluorooctyl group did not emit in the film state. Polymers containing various fluorinated benzene moieties showed higher fluorescence quantum yields and thermal stability than those containing nonfluorinated benzene. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
