The luminescence decay of excited probes in micelles in the presence of a Poisson distribution of quenchers is considered under conditions where both probe and quencher within the lifetime of the excited probe may exchange between the micelles. Analytical and numerical results show that the luminescence decay can be expressed by a generalized self convolution product of a multiexponential decay function.  相似文献

Synthesis and Structure of Li3RhH6 — a Ternary Hydride with Isolated [RhH6]3? Octahedra The ternary rhodium hydride Li3RhH6 was synthesized by the reaction of lithium hydride with rhodium under a hydrogen pressure of 80 bar. X-ray investigations on powdered samples and an elastic neutron diffraction experiment on the deuterated compound led to the complete structure determination (space group: Pnma, Z = 4). The atomic arrangement is isotypic to the Na3RhH6 structure type. The crystal structure contains isolated [RhH6]3? octahedra, which are separated by the lithium ions.  相似文献

The spatial distribution of chemical compounds in sugarcane bagasse is an important issue in its use as a raw material for second generation ethanol production from cellulose hydrolysis. Lignocellulosic materials including whole bagasse, fiber, pith, and respective samples obtained after chemical bleaching were investigated using confocal fluorescence microscopy and spectroscopy with one and two-photon excitation. Autofluorescence from unbleached samples revealed that emission from fiber walls containing the lignin fraction was longitudinally oriented. After bleaching treatment, the oriented emission was partially disrupted. Autofluorescence from bleached samples with a residual lignin content of about 1 % was ascribed to improved dispersion of remaining fluorophores throughout the samples inducing a concomitant reduction of fluorescence self-quenching in the samples. The combination of autofluorescence images with spectral emission and lifetime measurements provides a tool for microscopic characterization of natural bagasse samples. Moreover, the technique allows monitoring bleaching processes related to lignin removal.  相似文献

Pipe flow of blood in tubes of 1 and 7 mm inner diameter, respectively, was investigated employing two-dimensional NMR velocity imaging and PFG propagator measurements at different Reynolds numbers between 10 and 3500. The results are compared to flow of a water/glycerol mixture of matching viscosity under identical conditions. The transition from laminar to turbulent flow is observed by both a flattening of the velocity profile and a change of the propagator shape. For blood flow this transition is found to be shifted toward higher Reynolds numbers as compared to the transition of the water/glycerol mixture. This observation is in agreement with predictions from hydraulic measurements and is a consequence of the non-Newtonian flow characteristics of blood as a suspension of erythrocytes and plasma. Likewise, a deviation from the laminar flow condition is observed for blood at low Reynolds numbers between 10 and 100. This phenomenon is unknown for Newtonian liquids and is explained by the onset of a geometrical arrangement of the erythrocytes, the so-called rouleaux effect.  相似文献

Polyfluorene end-capped with N-(2-benzothiazole)-1,8-naphthalimide (PF-BNI) is a highly fluorescent material with fluorescence emission modulated by solvent polarity. Its low energy excited state is assigned as a mixed configuration state between the singlet S(1) of the fluorene backbone (F) with the charge transfer (CT) of the end group BNI. The triexponential fluorescence decays of PF-BNI were associated with fast energy migration to form an intrachain charge-transfer (ICCT) state, polyfluorene backbone decay, and ICCT deactivation. Time-resolved fluorescence anisotropy exhibited biexponential relaxation with a fast component of 12-16 ps in addition to a slow one in the range 0.8-1.4 ns depending on the solvent, showing that depolarization occurs from two different processes: energy migration to form the ICCT state and slow rotational diffusion motion of end segments at a longer time. Results from femtosecond transient absorption measurements agreed with anisotropy decay and showed a decay component of about 16 ps at 605 nm in PF-BNI ascribed to the conversion of S(1) to the ICCT excited state. From the ratio of asymptotic and initial amplitudes of the transient absorption measurement, the efficiency of intrachain ICCT formation is estimated in 0.5, which means that, on average, half of the excited state formed in a BNI-(F)(n)-BNI chain with n = 32 is converted to its low energy intrachain charge-transfer (ICCT) state.  相似文献

The acid hydrolysis of cellulose with crystalline and amorphous fractions is analyzed on the basis of autocatalytic model with a positive feedback of acid production from the degraded biopolymer. In the condition of low acid rate production compared with hydrolysis rate, both fraction of cellulose decrease exponentially with linear and cubic time dependence, and the normalized number of scissions per cellulose chain follows a sigmoid behavior with reaction time. The model predicts that self generated acidic compounds from cellulose accelerate the degradation of the biopolymer. However, if the acidic compounds produced are volatile species, then their release under low pressure will reduce the global rate of degradation of cellulose toward its intrinsic rate value determined by the residual acid catalyst present in the starting material.  相似文献

The emission spectra, quantum yields and fluorescence lifetimes of citrinin in organic solvents and hydrogel films have been determined. Citrinin shows complex fluorescence decays due to the presence of two tautomers in solution and interconversion from excited-state double proton transfer (ESDPT) process. The fluorescence decay times associated with the two tautomers have values near 1 and 5 ns depending on the medium. In hydrogel films of agarose and alginate, fluorescence imaging showed that citrinin is not homogeneously dispersed and highly emissive micrometer spots may be formed. Fluorescence spectrum and decay analysis are used to recognize the presence of citrinin in hydrogel films using confocal fluorescence microscopy and spectroscopy.  相似文献

A new fluorochromic dye was obtained from the reaction of 9-aminoacridine with ethyl-2-cyano-3-ethoxyacrylate. It displays complex fluorescence that is ascribed to normal emission from the acridine chromophore in addition to excited-state intramolecular charge transfer (ESICT) formed upon light excitation. The analysis of the fluorescence decays in different solvents reveals two short-lived components in the range of 80-450 ps and 0.7-3.2 ns, ascribed to the formation and decay of the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) state, in addition to a third component of about 9.0 ns, which is related to the normal emission from the acridine singlet excited state, probably in an enol-imine tautomeric form. The ICT emission is readily quenched by water addition to polar solvents, and this effect is ascribed to changes in the keto-amine/enol-imine equilibrium of this fluorochromic dye.  相似文献
