Coulomb excitation of the first excited 2+-state was measured usingα-particles to determine reduced transition probabilities,B(E2; 0 gs + →2 1 + ), in nuclei with a closed shell of 82 neutrons. TheB(E2; 0 gs + →2 1 + -values are 10.2 single-particle units (spu) for138Ba, 13.5 spu for140Ce, 11.9 spu for142Nd and 11.6 spu for144Sm. The uncertainty ranges from 1.3 % to 2.3 %.  相似文献

The spectrum of internal conversion electrons emitted by Sm150 after neutron capture was measured by means of the beta spectrometer at the research reactor at Garching near Munich. Between 3 keV and 8 MeV, 392 conversion lines corresponding to 337 transitions were found. The multipolarity of most transitions could be determined uniquely, the energy of the conversion electrons was measured within an accuracy of≧2.5 × 10?4. An extension of the level scheme of Sm150 is proposed.  相似文献

The one-proton knockout channel from 6He (240 MeV/u) impinging on a carbon target has been investigated. The triton fragments originating from this channel were detected in coincidence with the two neutrons. A broad structure, peaked at 3 MeV above the t+2n threshold, is observed in the t+n+n-relative energy spectrum. It is shown that this structure is mainly due to a I(pi)=1/2(+) resonance as expected for the 5H ground state, and from the observed angular and energy correlations, being used for the first time in 5H studies, that the neutrons to a large extent occupy the p shell.  相似文献

In a systematic study of nucleon transfer reactions accompanied by Coulomb excitation we have bombarded152Sm,160Gd and232Th with206, 208pb beams at incident energies close to the Coulomb barrier. Particle-gamma coincidence techniques were used to identify excited states of reaction products populated through inelastic scattering and in nucleon transfer reactions. One-neutron stripping and pick-up reactions on152Sm were observed leading to known states of the rotation alignedi 13/2-bands in153Sm and151Sm. In the160Gd+206, 208Pb systems no significant population of low lying states of product nuclei was found in the nucleon-transfer channels. Large cross sections were observed for one- and two-neutron pick-up from232Th at an incident energy of 6.4 MeV/u. Around the grazing angle they are of the same order of magnitude as the cross section measured for inelastic scattering. The results are analyzed in the framework of semiclassical models.  相似文献

The nuclear level structure and electromagnetic properties of196Pt were investigated withγ-spectroscopic techniques using multiple Coulomb excitation by208Pb projectiles. Particle-γ, and particle-γ-γ coincidences were measured over a wide range of scattering angles.E2-transition moments and static quadrupole moments have been determined by a comparison of experimental scattering-angle dependentγ yields with calculated yields in a largely model-independent procedure. The results are compared with different theoretical models: the Asymmetric-Rotor Model, the Generalized Collective Model, and the Interacting Boson Model. The best agreement is obtained with the Generalized Collective Model representing a triaxial nucleus which is soft in theγ degree of freedom.  相似文献

We measured the internal conversion electrons of Au 198 following thermal neutron capture with a beta spectrometer. 130 lines were found between 1 keV and 7 MeV. The multipolarities of 81 lines were determined. A level scheme with 10 levels containing most of the intensive transitions is suggested.  相似文献

The gluon transport equations (Phys. Lett. 177B (1986) 402) are reconsidered to derive a consistent semiclassical limit. Introducing the color current of gluon fluctuations around a classical mean field, we calculate the color permeability function of a collisionless gluon plasma in linear response approximation. The dispersion relations and electric screening length agree with one-loop high temperature QCD results. We find no magnetic screening atO(g 2) and predict transverse magnetic plasma oscillations similar to electric ones. The extension to include particle production by a mean color field is shortly described.  相似文献

The energy levels of 234U and 236U have been studied through the inelastic scattering of 16 MeV douterons. A magnetic spectrograph was used to momentum-analyse the scattered deuterons at θ = 90° and 125°. Excited in both 234U and 236U were the ground state bands up to and including the 8+ members, the Kπ = 0+β-vibrations, the Kπ = 2+γ-vibrations, and the Kπ = 0? octupole vibrational bands. In 234U, additional levels at 1023 and 1126 keV are ascribed to a Kπ = 2? band, levels at 1238, 1312, and 1446 keV are identified as members of either a Kπ = 0? or 1? configuration, and other tentative assignments are made for members of Kπ = 1? and 3? configurations. Relative reduced transition probabilities, B(E2), to the 2+ rotational and γ-vibrational states are generally found to be in good agreement with Coulomb excitation measurements. Relative B(E3) values for the 3? states excited are slightly higher than the predictions of a microscopic theory of octupole vibrations.  相似文献
