Nuclear magnetic resonance measurements indicate that hypericin exists in the same "normal" tautomeric form irrespective of whether the solvent is dimethyl sulfoxide or tetrahydrofuran. Differences of Convex Compact Sets in the Space of Directed Sets. Part I: The Space of Directed Sets
A normed and partially ordered vector space of so-called directed sets is constructed, in which the convex cone of all nonempty convex compact sets in R

is embedded by a positively linear, order preserving and isometric embedding (with respect to a new metric stronger than the Hausdorff metric and equivalent to the Demyanov one). This space is a Banach and a Riesz space for all dimensions and a Banach lattice for n=1. The directed sets in R
n
are parametrized by normal directions and defined recursively with respect to the dimension n by the help of a support function and directed supporting faces of lower dimension prescribing the boundary. The operations (addition, subtraction, scalar multiplication) are defined by acting separately on the support function and recursively on the directed supporting faces. Complexes of the type cis-[PdX2(imzt)(PPh3)] {imzt = imidazolidine-2-thione; PPh3 = triphenylphosphine; X = Cl (1), Br (2), I (3), SCN (4)} have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductance, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopies. The complex 1·MeOH was obtained from the reaction of [PdCl2(CH3CN)2], imidazolidine-2-thione and triphenylphosphine in CHCl3/CH3OH. Complexes 2·MeOH, 3 and 4 were prepared by metathesis of the chlorido ligands in 1 with bromide, iodide and thiocyanate, respectively. Elemental analyses showed good agreement with the expected mononuclear compositions, while the molar conductivities of the complexes in DMF were consistent with their nonelectrolytic nature. NMR spectra confirmed coordination of the imidazolidine-2-thione and triphenylphosphine ligands. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction determination of 1·CH3OH showed that the coordination geometry around PdII is nearly square planar, with the chlorido ligands in a cis configuration. All four complexes have been tested in vitro by XTT assay for their cytotoxicity against human glioblastoma cell line (U87MG). The binding of 1 with guanosine was studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy, revealing that the coordination takes place via N7. 相似文献

A simple technique for pulse shape discrimination in HPGe-detectors of the so-called BEGe type, based on just one parameter obtained from one signal read out, is presented here. This technique allows discriminating between pulses generated when the deposited energy is located within a small region of about 1 mm3 from the pulses generated when the energy is deposited at different locations several mm or cm apart. Two possible applications using this technique are: (i) experiments that look for neutrinoless double β decay in 76Ge, such as GERDA; (ii) γ spectrometry measurements where the Compton continuum can be reduced and the efficiency for cascading γ-rays can remain high. With this active background reduction technique a Compton suppression factor of about 3 was obtained. The detector response may be influenced by the detector size. The detector used for this study had a diameter of 6 cm, a thickness of 2.6 cm and a relative efficiency of 19%. The results obtained with this detector were consistent with the results obtained by Budjá? et al. [J Instrum 4:10, 2009] with a 50% relative efficiency BEGe detector. 相似文献

Almost fifty years of investigations of barchan dunes morphology and dynamics is reviewed, with emphasis on the physical understanding
of these objects. The characteristic quantities measured on the field (shape, size, velocity) and the physical problems they
rise are presented. Then, we review the dynamical mechanisms explaining the formation and the propagation of dunes. In particular
a complete and original approach of the sand transport over a flat sand bed is proposed and discussed. We conclude on open
problems by outlining future research directions.

Aluminum Chloride Phthalocyanine (AlPcCl) can be used as a photosensitizer (PS) for Photodynamic Inactivation of Microorganisms (PDI). The AlPcCl showed favorable characteristics for PDI due to high quantum yield of singlet oxygen (ΦΔ) and photostability. Physicochemical properties and photodynamic inactivation of AlPcCl incorporated in polymeric micelles of tri‐block copolymer (P‐123 and F‐127) against microorganisms Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans were investigated in this work. Previously, it was observed that the AlPcCl undergoes self‐aggregation in F‐127, while in P‐123 the PS is in a monomeric form suitable for PDI. Due to the self‐aggregation of AlPcCl in F‐127, this formulation did not show any effect on these microorganisms. On the other hand, AlPcCl formulated in P‐123 was effective against S. aureus and C. albicans and the death of microorganisms was dependent on the PS concentration and illumination time. Additionally, it was found that the values of PS concentration and illumination time to eradicate 90% of the initial population of microorganisms (IC90 and D90, respectively) were small for the AlPcCl in P‐123, showing the effectiveness of this formulation for PDI. 相似文献
