On the persistence of elliptic lower-dimensional tori in Hamiltonian systems under the first Melnikov condition and Rüssmann’s non-degeneracy condition

In this paper we formulate a theorem on the persistence of elliptic lower-dimensional invariant tori for nearly integrable analytic Hamiltonian systems under the first Melnikov condition and Rüssmann’s non-degeneracy condition, and give the measure estimates of parameters for the non-resonance conditions under Rüssmann’s non-degeneracy condition, which is essential for the proof of our result.     

Microscopically structural studies of lithium niobate powders

On the basis of the crystallographic characteristics of lithium niobate (LN) crystals, Law of Bravais and Pauling's third rule (i.e. Polyhedral Sharing Rule) are employed with the aim to find the relationship between the crystal structure and morphological faces of LN powders. In order to validate our analytical results, we have successfully synthesized LN powders and measured the corresponding X-ray powder diffraction. Our results show that the structural analysis is consistent with the experimental data and is helpful and effective for us to control the single-crystal growth and to design superstructures at the specific plane, starting from the viewpoint of the microscopic behaviors of constituent chemical bonds and polyhedra in the crystallographic frame.     

熔盐电解合成希土六硼化物的研究——REBO3、LiBO2和LiF体系熔盐电解合成RER6

本文在800℃和空气中电解REBO₃-LiBO₂-LiF熔盐体系合成了单相的REB₆.石墨川埚兼作容器和阳极.耐火金属棒如Cu和Mo等被悬吊在电解质中作为阴极.根据似二元体系LiBO₂-LiF和LiBO₂-LaBO₃的低熔点组成以La₂O₃、B₂O₃、Li₂CO₃和LiF为原料找到了具有较低熔点的熔盐体系.根据X射线粉末衍射,该熔体是由REBO₃、LiBO₂和LiF三个物相组成.     

塔板理论对柱内和柱外浓度分布曲线的描述

使用Visual Basic和QBasic程序，分别在Excel和DOS上，在不做任何化简的情况下，对塔板理论描述的柱内和柱外组分浓度分布进行了研究。发现符合线性分配的样品组分在色谱柱内存在3种不同的浓度分布形态，在色谱柱外则都是拖尾峰形态。分析了不同分配比对柱内和柱外浓度分布曲线最高点和次高点的影响。     

Single-molecule magnets constructed from cyanometalates: {[Tp*Fe(III)(CN)3M(II)(DMF)4]2[OTf]2} x 2DMF (M(II) = Co, Ni)

Treatment of several divalent transition-metal trifluoromethanesulfonates [M(II)(OTf)2; M(II) = Mn, Co, Ni] with [NEt4][Tp*Fe(III)(CN)3] [Tp* = hydridotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate] in DMF affords three isostructural rectangular clusters of {[Tp*Fe(III)(CN)3M(II)(DMF)4]2[OTf]2} x 2DMF (M(II) = Mn, 3; Co, 4; Ni, 5) stoichiometry. Magnetic studies of 3-5 indicate that the Tp*Fe(CN)3(-) centers are highly anisotropic and exhibit antiferromagnetic (3 and 4) and ferromagnetic (5) exchange to afford S = 4, 2, and 3 spin ground states, respectively. ac susceptibility measurements suggest that 4 and 5 exhibit incipient single-molecule magnetic behavior below 2 K.     

Antioxidant product analysis of Folium Hibisci Mutabilis

Folium Hibisci Mutabilis, a new member of Chinese Pharmacopoeia, can treat some diseases induced by reactive oxygen species. The study prepared a lyophilized aqueous extract of Folium Hibisci Mutabilis (LAFHM). LAFHM was found to enrich eight flavonoids (i.e., quercetin, luteolin, hyperoside, isoquercitrin, rutin, kaempferol, tiliroside, and vitexin) by HPLC analysis. These flavonoids were further compared using antioxidant assays, where triliroside and vitexin always exhibited higher IC₅₀ values than the others. In ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry analysis, these flavonoids could basically give two characteristic m/z values (226 and 196) and their corresponding double m/z values (i.e., 602, 570, 926, 926, 570, 1186, and 862), when treated by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazl radical (DPPH^?). Finally, the coupling products of DPPH^?-treated triliroside were investigated using computational chemistry. It was found that the –OH in para-coumaroyl moiety to have the lowest bond disassociation energy among all phenolic -OHs in the triliroside. In conclusion, Folium Hibisci Mutabilis contains the above eight antioxidant flavonoids. Despite of the different antioxidant levels, they can generally produce flavonoid-radical coupling product and flavonoid-flavonoid homodimer during antioxidant process. Especially, tiliroside uses para-coumaroyl as linker to construct a tiliroside-radical coupling product at the meta-carbon atom.     

Iron-catalyzed one-pot synthesis of benzimidazoles from 2-nitroanilines and benzylic alcohols

The iron-catalyzed heterocyclizations from 2-nitroanilines and benzylic alcohols to form benzimidazoles using hydrogen transfer reaction were investigated in this study. In the presence of dppf in toluene at 150 °C, various benzimidazoles were obtained in moderate to good yields within 24 h. The reaction was proposed to proceed via a cascade of alcohol oxidation, nitro reduction, condensation, and dehydrogenation.
