Actinide +VI complexes ( = , and ) with dipicolinic acid derivatives were synthesized and characterized by powder XRD, SQUID magnetometry and NMR spectroscopy. In addition, and complexes were described by first principles CAS based and two-component spin-restricted DFT methods. The analysis of the 1H paramagnetic NMR chemical shifts for all protons of the ligands according to the X-rays structures shows that the Fermi contact contribution is negligible in agreement with spin density determined by unrestricted DFT. The magnetic susceptibility tensor is determined by combining SQUID, pNMR shifts and Evans’ method. The SO-RASPT2 results fit well the experimental magnetic susceptibility and pNMR chemical shifts. The role of the counterions in the solid phase is pointed out; their presence impacts the magnetic properties of the complex. The temperature dependence of the pNMR chemical shifts has a strong contribution, contrarily to Bleaney's theory for lanthanide complexes. The fitting of the temperature dependence of the pNMR chemical shifts and SQUID magnetic susceptibility by a two-Kramers-doublet model for the complex and a non-Kramers-doublet model for the complex allows for the experimental evaluation of energy gaps and magnetic moments of the paramagnetic center.  相似文献

A novel, straightforward and versatile chemical pathway has been studied to functionalize water‐soluble chitosan oligomers. This metal‐free methodology is based on the epoxy‐amine reaction of the allyl glycidyl ether with chitosan, followed by thiol‐ene radical coupling reaction of ω‐functional mercaptans, using 4,4′‐Azobis(4‐cyanovaleric acid) as a free radical initiator. Both reactions were entirely carried out in water. In a preliminary step, chitosan depolymerization was carried out using H2O2 in an acetic medium under 100 W microwave irradiation, optimizing the yield of water‐soluble oligomers. Functionalization by six different thiols bearing alcohol, carboxylic acid, ester, and amino groups was then performed, leading to a range of functional oligochitosans with different grafting efficiencies. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The use of infrared laser-assisted fluorination to release oxygen from milligram quantities of silicates or other oxide mineral grains is a well-established technique. However, relatively few studies have reported the optimisation of this procedure for oxygen-17 isotope measurements. We describe here details of an analytical system using infrared (10 μm) laser-assisted fluorination, in conjunction with a dual inlet mass spectrometer of high resolving power ( approximately 250) to provide (17)O and (18)O oxygen isotope measurements from 0.5-2 mg of silicates or other oxide mineral grains. Respective precisions (1) of typically 0.08 and 0.04 per thousand are obtained for the complete analytical procedure. Departures from the mass-dependent oxygen isotope fractionation line are quantified by Delta(17)O; our precision (1) of such measurements on individual samples is shown to be +/-0.024 per thousand. In turn, this permits the offset between parallel, mass-dependent fractionation lines to be characterised to substantially greater precision than has been possible hitherto. Application of this system to investigate the (17)O versus (18)O relationship for numerous terrestrial whole-rock and mineral samples, of diverse geological origins and age, indicates that the complete data set may be described by a single, mass-dependent fractionation line of slope 0.5244+/- 0.00038 (standard error). In this paper, we study numerical methods for an optimal control problem with pointwise state constraints. The traditional approaches often need to deal with the deltasingularity in the dual equation, which causes many difficulties in its theoretical analysis and numerical approximation. In our new approach we reformulate the state-constrained optimal control as a constrained minimization problems only involving the state, whose optimality condition is characterized by a fourth order elliptic variational inequality. Then direct numerical algorithms (nonconforming finite element approximation) are proposed for the inequality, and error estimates of the finite element approximation are derived. Numerical experiments illustrate the effectiveness of the new approach.  相似文献

Summary: The paper reviews recent developments in synthesis and characterization of regioselectively functionalized cellulose derivatives. It demonstrates the importance of protecting groups like triphenylmethyl- and thexyldimethylsilyl (TDMS) ethers in cellulose chemistry. The protected cellulose derivatives can be used for the preparation of 2,3-O-functionalized polymers. Moreover, the TDMS group opens up the synthesis of 3-O-ethers of cellulose that possess interesting properties in terms of structure in solution, water-solubility, and thermoreversible gelation.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and ion‐binding properties of four poly(crown‐ethers) displaying either one or two crown‐ethers (15‐crown‐5 or 18‐crown‐6) on every third carbon alongside the backbone. The polymers were synthesized by living anionic ring‐opening polymerization of disubstituted cyclopropane‐1,1‐dicarboxylates monomers. Cation binding of the polychelating polymers and corresponding monomers to Na+ and K+ was evaluated by picrate extraction and isothermal calorimetry titration. This novel family of poly(crown‐ethers) demonstrated excellent initial binding of the alkali ions to the polymers, with a higher selectivity for potassium. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. It is reported that low concentration of amphiphilic triblock copolymers of pMeOx‐b‐pTHF‐b‐pMeOx structure (TBCPs) improves gene expression in skeletal muscle upon intramuscular co‐injection with plasmid DNA. Physicochemical studies carried out to understand the involved mechanism show that a phase transition of TBCPs under their unimer state is induced when the temperature is elevated from 25 to 37 °C, the body temperature. Several lines of evidences suggest that TBCP insertion in a lipid bilayer causes enough lipid bilayer destabilization and even pore formation, a phenomenon heightened during the phase transition of TBCPs. Interestingly, this property allows DNA translocation across the lipid bilayer model. Overall, the results indicate that TBCPs exhibiting a phase transition at the body temperature is promising to favor in vivo pDNA translocation in skeletal muscle cells for gene therapy applications.  相似文献
