In this work, we present a theoretical study on elastic electron collisions from three isoelectronic free radicals (CNN, NCN, and CCO) in the low incident energy range. More specifically, calculated differential, integral, and momentum transfer cross sections are reported in the 1-30 eV energy range. Calculations are performed in the static-exchange and static-exchange-polarization levels. The iterative Schwinger variational method is used to solve the scattering equations. Our study reveals that the calculated cross sections for the three targets are significantly different at incident energies below 10 eV. Above that energy, a remarkable similarity among the calculated results is seen.  相似文献

We report measurements of the de Haas-van Alphen effect in CeIn(3) in magnetic fields extending to approximately 90 T, well above the Néel critical field of mu(0)H(c) approximately 61 T. The unreconstructed Fermi surface a sheet is observed in the high magnetic field polarized paramagnetic limit, but with its effective mass and Fermi surface volume strongly reduced in size compared to that observed in the low magnetic field paramagnetic regime under pressure. The spheroidal topology of this sheet provides an ideal realization of the transformation from a "large Fermi surface" accommodating f electrons to a "small Fermi surface" when the f-electron moments become polarized.  相似文献

X-ray back diffraction from monolithic two silicon crystal plates of 25-150 microm thickness and a 40-150 microm gap using synchrotron radiation of energy resolution DeltaE = 0.36 meV at 14.4388 keV clearly show resonance fringes inside the energy gap and the total-reflection range for the (12 4 0) reflection. This cavity resonance results from the coherent interaction between the x-ray wave fields generated by the two plates with a gap smaller than the x-ray coherence length. This finding opens up new opportunities for high-resolution and phase-contrast x-ray studies, and may lead to new developments in x-ray optics.  相似文献

Customer capital is a result of interaction between an organization and its customers. Customers change their characteristics, including addresses, behaviour and preferences; but as the customer requirements change, basic beliefs or processes that is, things that individuals take for granted at an implicit and an explicit level of knowledge, must also change. This paper aims to identify the role of an individual forgetting context on customer capital in today's organization through an empirical study of 229 sellers (front-line contact people) in the Spanish optometry industry. Two structural equation models have been used, resulting in the conclusion that before obtaining an up-to-date memory, it is necessary to identify new ways of doing and interpreting things, which in turn result in a shift in relations that favour the customers.  相似文献

Several preprocessing rules to reduce integer programming problem size are proposed and examined for the generalised assignment problem. The rules make use of the linear programming relaxation and ranking on the basis of a combined resource/cost metric. Computational experiments with commercial branch and bound solvers have been performed using publicly available problem data from the OR library. Results are promising as the preprocessed problem solves to within 1% of the full problem with significantly less CPU time for most of the test problems examined.  相似文献

Formal validation, that is the study of the analytical performances of a method, is recognized as the best safeguard against the generation and publication of data with low reliability.Although the topic of HPTLC validations has been largely investigated, there is still a need for a general validation method applicable whenever a blank matrix cannot be reconstituted, notably herbs and their extracts.This work proposes two validation schemes aiming at generate linearity, accuracy and precision data in a minimal number of HPTLC plates, taking the standardization of Plantago palmata as an example with both UV and visible (post-chromatographic derivatization with a sulphuric acid-vanillin reagent) detections. A major problem associated with HPTLC determinations is underlined, namely the low range of linearity which makes spiking studies quite difficult as care must be taken to avoid overloading, whereas keeping the analyte detectable in blank extracts and avoiding spikes too close to endogenous levels. A second problem is the use of general post-chromatographic derivatization reagents that compromise the selectivity of the method by reacting with compounds that may not be resolved from the compound of interest. The use of such reagents is clearly not without danger, especially given the relatively low resolution of planar chromatography.In conclusion, the retained validation protocol effectively yields the main validation data whereas allowing to pinpoint major analytical drawbacks. It was not possible to simultaneously validate aucubin and acteoside assays as both analytes are present at too different levels/detectabilities.  相似文献

We report the investigation of electronic excitations in InGaAs self-assembled quantum dots using resonant inelastic light scattering. The dots can be charged via a gate by N=1, em leader,6 electrons. We observe excitations, which are identified as transitions of electrons, predominantly from the s to the p shell (s-p transitions) of the quasiatoms. We find that the s-p transition energy decreases and the observed band broadens, when the p shell is filled with 1 to 4 electrons. By a theoretical model, which takes into account the full Coulomb interaction in the few-electron artificial atom, we can confirm the experimental results to be an effect of the Coulomb interaction in the quantum dot.  相似文献

We present a joint theoretical-experimental study on electron scattering by methanol (CH(3)OH) and ethanol (C(2)H(5)OH) in a wide energy range. Experimental differential, integral and momentum-transfer cross sections for elastic electron scattering by ethanol are reported in the 100-1000 eV energy range. The experimental angular distributions of the energy-selected electrons are measured and converted to absolute cross sections using the relative flow technique. Moreover, elastic, total, and total absorption cross sections for both alcohols are calculated in the 1-500 eV energy range. A complex optical potential is used to represent the dynamics of the electron-alcohol interaction, whereas the scattering equations are solved iteratively using the Pade?'s approximant technique. Our calculated data agree well with those obtained using the Schwinger multichannel method at energies up to 20 eV. Discrepancies at high energies indicate the importance of absorption effects, included in our calculations. In general, the comparison between our theoretical and experimental results, as well as with other experimental data available in the literature, also show good agreement. Nevertheless, the discrepancy between the theoretical and experimental total cross sections at low incident energies suggests that the experimental cross sections measured using the transmission technique for polar targets should be reviewed.  相似文献

AuZn undergoes a shape-memory transition at 67 K. The de Haas-van Alphen effect persists to 100 K enabling the observation of a change in the quantum oscillation spectrum indicative of a catastrophic Fermi surface reconstruction at the transition. The coexistence of both Fermi surfaces at low temperatures suggests an intrinsic phase separation in the bulk of the material. In addition, Dingle analysis reveals a sharp change in the scattering mechanism at a threshold cyclotron radius, attributable to the underlying microstructure driving the shape-memory effect.  相似文献

Ejection of the three electrons from lithium in a single electron collision has been observed for the first time. Triply charged lithium was observed in an ion time-of-flight spectrum following electron impact on a sample of ultracold, trapped lithium. The higher signal/background afforded by the trap environment made the observation of Li3+ possible. We measured the ratios of triple-to-double and double-to-single ionization at an impact energy of 1000 eV. The 3+/2+ ratio is approximately 0.001, a value 2 orders of magnitude lower than semiempirical predictions. We present a simple method that uses photoionization data combined with sum-rule analysis to predict the asymptotic charge-state ratios. The sum-rule predictions compare reasonably with experiment and shake calculations, but disagree sharply with the semiempirical estimates.  相似文献
