We study Hamiltonians with singular spectra of Cantor type with a constant ratio of dissection. The decay properties of the states in such systems depend on the nature of the dissection rate that can be characterized in terms of the algebraic number theory. We show that in spite of simplicity of the considered model the computational modeling of nondecaying states is in general impossible.  相似文献

The work of the Brussels-Austin groups on irreversibility over the last years has shown that Quantum Large Poincaré systems with diagonal singularity lead to an extension of the conventional formulation of dynamics at the level of mixtures which is manifestly time asymmetric. States with diagonal singularity acquire meaning as linear fractionals over the involutive Banach algebra of operators with diagonal singularity. We show in this paper that the logic of quantum systems with diagonal singularity is not the conventional logic of Hilbert space, because only finite combinations of prepositions are allowed.  相似文献

The solution chemistry of actinides, particularly hydrolysis, is of major importance in the design of nuclear waste repositories and in relation to nuclear fuel reprocessing cycles. In this study the formation and solubility of the Th(OH)4 solid phase has been investigated as a function of the aging time and the presence of natural organic matter (e.g. humic acid) in 0.1 M NaClO4, at weak acid pH and under normal atmospheric conditions. Th(OH)4 has been prepared by alkaline precipitation and characterized by TGA, ATR–FTIR, XRD, and solubility measurements. According to the experimental data Th(OH)4 is stable and remains the solubility limiting solid phase even in the presence of increased humic acid concentration in solution. Increasing humic acid concentration doesn’t affect the crystallite size and the solubility product of Th(OH)4. Th(OH)4 solubility is basically pH depended and governed by the presence of colloidal species. However, solid phase aging, which in absence of humic acid favors crystallinity, affects significantly the Th(OH)4 solubility.  相似文献

Germanane (GeH), a germanium analogue of graphane, has recently attracted considerable interest because its remarkable combination of properties makes it an extremely suitable candidate to be used as 2D material for field effect devices, photovoltaics, and photocatalysis. Up to now, the synthesis of GeH has been conducted by substituting Ca by H in a β‐CaGe2 layered Zintl phase through topochemical deintercalation in aqueous HCl. This reaction is generally slow and takes place over 6 to 14 days. The new and facile protocol presented here allows to synthesize GeH at room temperature in a significantly shorter time (a few minutes), which renders this method highly attractive for technological applications. The GeH produced with this method is highly pure and has a band gap (Eg) close to 1.4 eV, a lower value than that reported for germanane synthesized using HCl, which is promising for incorporation of GeH in solar cells.  相似文献

By using the Swenson formula, for the pressure derivative of the bulk modulus, and the Slater formulation for the Gruneisen constant a simple useful relation between the vacancy-formation entropy and the Gruneisen constant is derived in the case of metals. This relation also indicates that actually a close correlation between the vacancy-formation enthalpy, the coefficient of the volume expansivity and the corresponding melting point exists.  相似文献

We investigate the applicability of Hegerfeldts arguments on Quantum nonlocality in Quantum Electrodynamics following the work of Prigogine, Pronko, Petrosky, Ordonez and Karpov. We demonstrate the appearance of nonlocal effects at the level of quantum states. We show, however that the expectation values of some observables spread causally. Therefore the measurement of the nonlocality is questionable. We investigate an approach to classical measurement and conclude that the classical measurement cannot detect the acausal effects of the non-locality.  相似文献

The conformation of the common polysaccharide dextran has been investigated in mixed solvents at two different temperatures using viscosity measurements. In particular we considered binary mixtures of water with the polar organic solvents glycerol, formamide, dimethylsulfoxide, or ethanol. The intrinsic viscosity of dextran T500 in the different systems has been determined, and the solvent effects, as manifested in variations of the dextran intrinsic viscosity and coil radius, have been correlated to the surface tension and the fractional solubility parameters of the solvent mixture. The coil dimension changes observed in the different solvent mixtures are consistent with expectations from water-cosolvent-dextran interactions, especially as they pertain to hydrogen bonding.  相似文献
