In this paper, the impact of optical beat noise on the performance of optical fast frequency-hopping code-division multiple-access (FFH OCDMA) networks is analyzed. BCH/FFH-OCDMA to reduce the impact of optical beat noise is proposed. It is shown that, BCH/FFH-OCDMA has much better performance under the same bit rate, same chip time and same number of available wavelengths. Another advantage for BCH/FFH-OCDMA is that the code length of one-coincidence sequence will be shorter, which can greatly reduce the difficulty of fabrication for fiber gratings.  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel scheme based on minimum delay at the edges (MDE) for optical burst switching (OBS) networks. This scheme is designed to overcome the long delay at the edge nodes of OBS networks. The MDE scheme features simultaneous burst assembly, channel scheduling, and pre-transmission of control packet. It also features estimated setup and explicit release (ESXR) signaling protocol. The MDE scheme can minimize the delay at the edge nodes for data packets, and improve the end-to-end latency performance for OBS networks. In addition, comparing with the conventional scheme, the performances of the MDE scheme are analyzed in this paper.  相似文献

提出BCH信道编码的方案来降低色度色散对降低快跳频OCDMA系统性能的影响.采用BCH信道编码后,单重合码的长度将变短,即可以用较少的波长数来构造码字,因此降低了色度色散的影响.分析结果表明,在相同的信息比特速率、脉元间隔、资用波长数的情况下,BCH信道编码能显著改善FFH-OCDMA系统的误码率性能.同时,由于单重合码的长度将变短,大大降低了光纤光栅的制作难度.由于BCH信道编码在电域中实现,其硬件技术已相当成熟,所以对整个BCH/FFH-OCDMA系统的代价影响不大.  相似文献

A model for calculating loss and crosstalk in WDM passive optical network based on spectral slicing is proposed in this paper. Through theoretical analysis and numerical calculation, the relationship between loss or crosstalk and the parameters of the system, such as the bandwidth of the light-source, the parameters of the multiplexer, the number of channels and the fraction of channel misalignment, was demonstrated.  相似文献

光突发交换是近几年出现的一种很有前途的交换技术。在光突发交换网络的核心节点中,光交换矩阵是一个关键部件,其配置时间影响到光突发交换网络的性能。这种影响表现在对数据信道可用时间施加了限制。在考虑光交换矩阵配置时间的基础上给出了修正后的LAUC算法,并通过计算机仿真研究了这种配置时间对光突发交换性能的影响。结果表明,光交换矩阵配置时间的增大会导致输出数据信道利用率的降低,进而增大了数据丢失率。  相似文献

Switching-window in an interferometric configuration of a gain-transparent ultrafast nonlinear interferometer (gt-UNI) is investigated numerically. The phase change is observed in detail. To assess the performance of switching window, the integrated contrast ratio (ICR) is introduced. For the data pulse with the bit width of 6.25 ps and with the energy of 60 pJ, respectively, the ICRs in different situations are simulated using modified nonlinear Schrodinger equation (MNLSE) considering of the carrier depletion pulsation (CDP), carrier heating (CH), and spectral-hole burning (SHB). The results show that the maximum ICR is located at the optimum position of the semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) that is determined by the width and energy of the control pulse.  相似文献

在网络恢复仿真实验中发现当WDM光网络中的工作通路的链路数目为2或3时, 通路恢复资源能得到较大程度的共享. 在此基础之上, 提出了一种新的WDM光网络故障的恢复方案-分段共享恢复方案(SSR). 与现有的基于通路共享恢复方案(PSR)相比, SSR的恢复时间大大下降, 同时又基本上保持了PSR高效的资源利用率. 阐述了SSR的分段规则和实现过程, 并对SSR的性能进行了理论分析和计算机仿真.  相似文献
