微波与非均匀等离子体相互作用过程中坑子的形成与谐波发射

在稳态的等离子体装置中，利用微波和等离子体的相互作用，模拟了激光等离子体过程，研究了这个非线性相互作用过程中产生的坑子(caviton)，观察了坑子幅度增长，衰减及传播的演化过程。同时利用数值计算求解了在实验条件下的Zakharov方程，得到与实验较为符合的结果。实验测量了在相互作用过程中的二次谐波发射谱，并用参量衰变过程分析了二次谐波的频率红移。     

Controlling chaos by a delayed continuous feedback in a gas discharge plasma

Control of chaos by a delayed continuous feedback is studied experimentally in a gas discharge plasma. The power spectrum, the maximum of Lyapunov exponents and the time series of the signals all indicate that the period-1 unstable periodic orbit is controlled successfully. The dependence of the control on the delay time and the feedback gain as well as the strength of white noise is also investigated in detail. The experimental results show that the scaling index of the control versus the strength of white noise is 1.995, which is very close to that obtained from the simple logistic map.     

Electron Magnetohydrodynamics Magnetic Reconnection Experiment on Keda Linear Magnetized Plasma Device

We conduct an electron magnetohydrodynamics magnetic reconnection experiment with guide-field in our Keda linear magnetized plasma device, in which two pulsed currents with the same direction are conducted in parallel with the axial direction of the main chamber of the device using two long aluminum sticks. After approximately 5μs, an X-type magnetic field line topology is formed at the center of the chamber. With the formation of the X-type topology of magnetic field lines, we can also find the rapid increase of the current and ratio of the common flux to the private flux in this area. Additionally, a reduction in the plasma density and the plasma density concentration along one pair of separatrices can also be found.
