In this work, preparation and properties of different nanoclays modified by organic amines (octadecyl amine, a primary amine, and hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide, a tertiary amine) and brominated polyisobutylene‐co‐paramethylstyrene (BIMS)‐clay nanocomposites are reported. The clays and the rubber nanocomposites have been characterized with the help of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X‐ray diffraction (XRD). The X‐ray diffraction peaks observed in the range of 3 °–10 ° for the modified clays disappear in the rubber nanocomposites. TEM photographs show predominantly exfoliation of the clays in the range of 12 ± 4 nm in the BIMS. In the FTIR spectra of the nanocomposites, there are common peaks of virgin rubber as well as those of the clays. Excellent improvement in mechanical properties like tensile strength, elongation at break, and modulus is observed on incorporation of the nanoclays in the BIMS. The separation of propylene-propane mixture is an energy intensive operation commercially practiced using cryogenic distillation. The separation by pressure swing adsorption has been studied as an alternative. A fixed-bed pressure swing adsorption yields the heavy component as a pure product. The product recovery and the productivity are not high. In a moving-bed process, because of the counter-current solid-gas contact, the separation achieved is similar to that of the fractionation by distillation. Although the moving-bed operation offers the upper limit for the performance of a cyclic adsorptive process, due to mechanical complexities in the handling of solids the 'simulated' moving-bed is preferred. By moving the inlet and outlet ports of streams located along the length of the bed, a moving-bed process can be realized in a fixed bed. We describe here a 'moving-port' system which permits injection or withdrawal of the fluid along the axial direction in a fixed bed. A fixed bed embedded with the moving-port systems emulates a simulated moving-bed adsorber. The proposed adsorber can fractionate a binary gas mixture into two product streams with high purities. It is similar to the Sorbex process of UOP but does not have the eluent as an additional separating agent. A parametric study indicates that high purity products and a higher productivity by an order of magnitude can be achieved with simulated moving-beds compared to the fixed beds. 相似文献

According to the traditional usage of the plant for antiinflammation and analgesia, Leucas aspera was tested for its prostaglandin (PG) inhibitory and antioxidant activities. The extract showed both activities, i.e., inhibition at 3 x 10(-4) g/ml against PGE(1)- and PGE(2)-induced contractions in guinea pig ileum and a 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging effect. The separation guided by the activities in these dual assay methods provided eight lignans and four flavonoids, LA-1- -12, among which LA-1- -7 and LA-10- -12 were identified as nectandrin B, meso-dihydroguaiaretic acid, macelignan, acacetin, apigenin 7-O-[6"-O-(p-coumaroyl)-beta-D-glucoside], chrysoeriol, apigenin, erythro-2-(4-allyl-2, 6-dimethoxyphenoxy)-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)propan-1-ol, myristargenol B, and machilin C, respectively. LA-8 was determined to be (-)-chicanine, the new antipode of the (+) compound, by spectroscopic methods including CD and ORD. Chiral-HPLC analysis of LA-9 showed that it was a mixture of two enantiomers, (7R, 8R)- and (7S, 8S)-licarin A. All of these components were first isolated from L. aspera. PG inhibition was observed in LA-1, LA-2, and LA-5, and antioxidant activity in LA-1- -3 and LA-8- -12. 相似文献

The trapping of a silicon(I) radical with N-heterocyclic carbenes is described. The reaction of the cyclic (alkyl)(amino) carbene [cAACMe] (cAACMe=:C(CMe2)2(CH2)NAr, Ar=2,6-iPr2C6H3) with H2SiI2 in a 3:1 molar ratio in DME afforded a mixture of the separated ion pair [(cAACMe)2Si:.]+I− ( 1 ), which features a cationic cAAC–silicon(I) radical, and [cAACMe−H]+I−. In addition, the reaction of the NHC–iodosilicon(I) dimer [IAr(I)Si:]2 (IAr=:C{N(Ar)CH}2) with 4 equiv of IMe (:C{N(Me)CMe}2), which proceeded through the formation of a silicon(I) radical intermediate, afforded [(IMe)2SiH]+I− ( 2 ) comprising the first NHC–parent-silyliumylidene cation. Its further reaction with fluorobenzene afforded the CAr−H bond activation product [1-F-2-IMe-C6H4]+I− ( 3 ). The isolation of 2 and 3 confirmed the reaction mechanism for the formation of 1 . Compounds 1 – 3 were analyzed by EPR and NMR spectroscopy, DFT calculations, and X-ray crystallography. 相似文献

AbstractThe methanolic extract of Cycas revoluta cone (MECR) was analyzed by GC-MS and UHPLC for metabolite profiling and was evaluated for anti-colon cancer property by using in vitro assays like Cell Viability Assay, Colony Formation Assay, ROS Determination, Flowcytometry, DAPI staining assay, Tunel assay. GC-MS and HPLC analysis confirmed the presence of different phytochemicals in the extract of Cycas revoluta cone. In-vitro studies showed MECR extract showed significant anti-colon cancer activity by reducing proliferation and inducing apoptosis in colon cancer cell (HCT-8) line, but no such activity was seen in normal colon cell (CCD-18Co) line. The investigation confirms that MECR may be a promising candidate in colon cancer protection. 相似文献

The sol-emulsion-gel method is used for the preparation of about 5-7 nm size Eu2O3 doped and coated Y2SiO5 nanoparticles at 1300 degrees C. Here, we report the role of surface coating, dopant concentration and temperature of heating on the modification of crystal structure and the photoluminescence properties of Y2SiO5:Eu3+ nanocrystals. It is found that photoluminescence properties are sensitive to the crystal structure which is again controlled by surface coating, concentration and heating temperature. The decay times are 0.76, 1.14, 1.23 and 1.40 ms for 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.5 mol% Eu2O3 doped Y2SiO5 nanocrystals prepared at 1100 degrees C (X1-Y2SiO5). However, in X2-Y2SiO5 crystal phase (at 1300 degrees C) the average decay times are 1.05, 1.35, 1.55 and 1.60 ms for 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.5 mol% Eu2O3 doped Y2SiO5 nanocrystals, indicating the photoluminescence properties depend on both the crystal structure and the concentration of ions. The emission intensity of the peak at 612 nm (5D0-->7F2) of the Eu3+-ions is found to be sensitive to the doping and surface coating of Y2SiO5 nanocrystals. The decay times are 1.55 and 1.70 ms for 1300 degrees C heated 1.0 mol% Eu2O3 doped and coated Y2SiO5 nanocrystals, respectively. Our analysis suggests that the site symmetry of ions plays a most important role in the modification of radiative relaxation mechanisms and as a result on the overall photoluminescence properties. 相似文献

An improved and eco‐friendly procedure has been developed to generate mesoporous silica‐supported palladium nanoparticles (SiO2@PdNP) that could be used as a sustainable heterogeneous Pd catalyst for phosphine‐free Suzuki–Miyaura and Heck coupling reactions with excellent turnover number and turnover frequency. The presence of Pd on the silica surface was detected by X‐ray diffraction and the structural morphology of SiO2@PdNP was obtained by transmission electron microscopy. The heterogeneous catalytic system is recyclable and leaching of the metal after the reaction is not apparently observed. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

HZSM‐5‐supported Brönsted and Lewis acidic ionic solid 1,3‐disulfoimidazolium chlorozincate materials ([dsim]2[ZnCl4]@HZSM‐5) were synthesized with various ratios (3, 6, 9, 17 and 50% w/w). The heterogeneous materials were characterized via a variety of spectroscopic techniques. Dual acidity of these materials was determined using specified techniques. These acidic solids were examined as stable heterogeneous catalysts for the Fischer indole reaction of equimolar amounts of phenylhydrazine hydrochloride and various aliphatic or aromatic ketones at 80–90°C in neat condition to produce substituted indole derivatives. The efficient 17% ionic salt‐loaded HZSM‐5 composite was easily reused for ten consecutive cycles with a slight loss of its activity. The recycled catalyst was further analysed using powder X‐ray diffraction and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometric techniques. 相似文献

In this paper, an attempt is made to present a method of quantum cost minimization or optimization technique for quantum reversible circuits using proposed merger rules in Exclusive Sum of Product (ESOP) method. These modified ESOP methods are used to minimize the quantum circuits. We found that the quantum cost is drastically decreased than the previous ESOP method. It will be easy to find the quantum cost and quantum gate optimized quantum circuits implementation. It will also reduce quantum error while the quantum circuit is executed in real quantum processor.
