High-performance composite cathodes for Alkaline electrolysis of water

A procedure for preparing and modifying composite electrode materials, allowing preparation of high-performance Ni-based catalysts for water electrolyzers with alkaline electrolyte, is reported. Electrodes for cathodic process, fabricated using this procedure, allow the power consumption for hydrogen production in alkaline water electrolyzers to be considerably reduced relative to known analogs used in Russia and other countries.     

The study of ambiguity in non-Abelian gauge theories

We review the problem of ambiguity in quantizing non-Abelian gauge theories and propose a method for quantizing them unambiguously.     

Macroscopic simulation of violation of Bell’s inequality

A macroscopic quantum model of a two-level system (the analogue of a half-spin particle) is described. The model is employed for simulating not only the system under study, but the measurement process as well. Single- and two-particle state models of a quantum system are constructed. The Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox and Bell’s inequality are discussed within the framework of the model.     

Double-slit experiment and Bogoliubov’s causality principle

In the Bogoliubov approach the causality principle is the basic constructive element of quantum field theory. At the same time, this principle has obvious classical interpretation. On the other hand, it is well-known Feynman statement that the double-slit experiment is “impossible, absolutely impossible to explain in classical way, and has in it the heart of quantum mechanics. We describe how taking into account of infrared singularities allows to give quite evident interpretation to double-slit experiment. And this interpretation agrees with the Bogoliubov’s causality principle.     

Matrix and vector models in the strong coupling limit

We consider matrix and vector models in the large-N limit: we study N × N matrices and vectors with N² components. In the case of a zero-dimensional model (D = 0), we prove that in the strong coupling limit (g → ∞), the partition functions of the two models coincide up to a coefficient. Asymptotic expansions for correlation functions of one-dimensional bosons

We discuss different asymptotic representations for correlation functions of critical integrable systems. We prove that in the one-dimensional boson model, the asymptotic series for correlation functions obtained by the multiple-integral method coincides with the conformal field theory predictions in the low-temperature limit.
