An analysis is carried out to study the flow, chemical reaction and mass transfer of a steady laminar boundary layer of an electrically conducting and heat generating fluid driven by a continuously moving porous surface embedded in a non-Darcian porous medium in the presence of a transfer magnetic field. The governing partial differential equations are converted into ordinary differential equations by similarity transformation and are solved numerically by using the finite element method. The results obtained are presented graphically for velocity, temperature and concentration profiles, as well as the Sherwood number for various parameters entering into the problem. 相似文献

This paper presents an analytical study of the unsteady MHD free convective heat and mass transfer flow of a viscous, incompressible, gray, absorbing-emitting but non-scattering, optically-thick and electrically conducting fluid occupying a semi-infinite porous regime adjacent to an infinite moving hot vertical plate with constant velocity. We employ a Darcian viscous flow model for the porous medium the Rosseland diffusion approximation is used to describe the radiative heat flux in the energy equation. The homogeneous chemical reaction of first order is accounted in mass diffusion equation. The governing equations are solved in closed form by Laplace-transform technique. A parametric study of all involved parameters is conducted and representative set of numerical results for the velocity, temperature, concentration, shear stress function $\frac{\partial u}{\partial y} \vert_{y=0}$ , temperature gradient $\frac{\partial \theta }{ \partial y}\vert_{y=0}$ , and concentration gradient $\frac{ \partial \phi }{\partial y}\vert_{y=0}$ is illustrated graphically and physical aspects of the problem are discussed. 相似文献

In this paper, an attempt is made to estimate the influence due to a time-harmonic normal point load or thermal source in a homogeneous isotropic magneto-thermo-viscoelastic half-space. The system of fundamental equations is solved by using Hankel transform. The inverse transform integrals using Romberg integration with adaptive stepwise after using the results from successive refinements of the extended trapezoidal rule followed by extrapolation of the results to the limit when the step-size tends to zero. The two special cases: (i) normal point load acting on the surface and (ii) thermal point source acting on the surface, are studied in the cases of with and without energy dissipation of magneto-thermo-viscoelasticity. The displacements, temperature and stress components have been obtained in analytical form. Finally, the results obtained are displayed numerically and presented graphically for copper material. 相似文献

Assuming the Riemann Hypothesis, Montgomery showed by meansof his pair correlation method that at least two-thirds of thezeros of Riemann's zeta-function are simple. Later he and Taylorimproved this to 67.25 percent and, more recently, Cheer andGoldston increased the percentage to 67.2753. Here we proveby a new method that if the Riemann and Generalized LindelöofHypotheses hold, then at least 70.3704 percent of the zerosare simple and at least 84.5679 percent are distinct. DC magnetization, neutron depolarization and neutron diffraction (with both polarized and unpolarized neutrons) measurements
have been reported for the Co1.1−x
Zn
x
Ge0.1Fe1.2O1 spinels with x=0.5, 0.6 and 0.7. Neutron depolarization and neutron diffraction measurements confirm the presence of a long range ferrimagnetic
ordering of the local canted spins in these ferrite samples. The observed features of low field magnetization have been explained
under the framework of thermally activated domain wall movement of ferrimagnetic arrangement of local canted spins. An important
role of magnetic anisotropy (due to the presence of Co2+ ions) in establishing the magnetic ordering and domain kinetics in these ferrites has been observed. 相似文献
