Stable passive Q-switching of a Tm: LiYF4 laser is obtained using polycrystalline Cr2+: ZnS as a saturable absorber. The achieved maximum pulse energy of 0.9 mJ and peak power of 65 kW for a pulse duration of ~14 ns represent substantial improvement and highest values for a passively Q-switched diode-pumped Tm laser operating at ~1.9 μm. 相似文献

Abstract Raman phonon spectra of 9, 10-dinitroanthracene have been recorded in the pressure range 0-6GPa. No phase transition is detected up to the maximum pressure studied. Quasi Harmonic Lattice Dynamics calculations, based on an atom-atom potential previously modeled on homologous 9,10-disubstituted anthracenes, have been performed. The optimized potential was used to calculate the equilibrium geometry and the lattice phonon frequencies as a function of pressure. The calculated structure at ambient conditions closely resembles the experimental one. The calculated phonon frequencies show a good agreement with the experimental values at all pressures measured. 相似文献

Proton nmr study of hydrated sodium β-alumina reveals a Pake doublet spectrum due to stationary water molecules. As the temperature is increased from -196C to 192C, linewidth changes indicate that the stationary protons sense the increasingly rapid motion of nearby sodium nuclei and other protons. The interproton spacing computed from the spectra was found to be 1.7A. 相似文献

In this paper, the problem of finding a shortest path tree rooted at a given source node on a directed graph (SPT) is considered. A new efficient algorithm based on a primal-dual approach is presented, which improves both the convergence and the complexity of the best known auction-like algorithm. It uses the virtual source (VS) concept based on the following consideration: when a node i is visited for the first time by any algorithm which preserves verified the dual admissibility conditions, then the shortest path (SP) from the source node to i is found. Therefore, the SP from the source to the remaining nodes may be computed by considering i as a virtual source.We propose a very efficient implementation of an auction-like algorithm that uses this concept and enables us to obtain a computational cost of O(n

Motivated by recent results from the LHC experiments, we analyze Higgs couplings in two Higgs doublet models with an approximate PQ symmetry. Models of this kind can naturally accommodate sizable modifications to Higgs decay patterns while leaving production at hadron colliders untouched. Near the decoupling limit, we integrate out the heavy doublet to obtain the effective couplings of the SM-like Higgs and express these couplings in a physically transparent way, keeping all orders in (mh/mH) for small PQ breaking. Considering supersymmetric models, we show that the effects on the Higgs couplings are considerably constrained. 相似文献

We derive hydrodynamic equations describing the evolution of a binary fluid segregated into two regions, each rich in one species,which are separated (on the macroscopic scale) by a sharp interface. Our starting point is a Vlasov-Boltzmann (VB) equation describing the evolution of the one particle position and velocity distributions, fi (x, v, t), i = 1, 2. The solution of the VB equation is developed in a Hilbert expansion appropriate for this system. This yields incompressible Navier-Stokes equations for the velocity field u and a jump boundary condition for the pressure across the interface. Air-flow resistivity is a main parameter governing the acoustic behavior of porous materials for sound absorption. The international standard ISO 9053 specifies two different methods to measure the air-flow resistivity, namely a steady-state air-flow method and an alternating air-flow method. The latter is realized by the measurement of the sound pressure at 2 Hz in a small rigid volume closed partially by the test sample. This cavity is excited with a known volume-velocity sound source implemented often with a motor-driven piston oscillating with prescribed area and displacement magnitude. Measurements at 2 Hz require special instrumentation and care. The authors suggest an alternating air-flow method based on the ratio of sound pressures measured at frequencies higher than 2 Hz inside two cavities coupled through a conventional loudspeaker. The basic method showed that the imaginary part of the sound pressure ratio is useful for the evaluation of the air-flow resistance. Criteria are discussed about the choice of a frequency range suitable to perform simplified calculations with respect to the basic method. These criteria depend on the sample thickness, its nonacoustic parameters, and the measurement apparatus as well. The proposed measurement method was tested successfully with various types of acoustic materials. 相似文献
