A nonlinear optimal impulsive control problem with trajectories of bounded variation subject to intermediate state constraints at a finite number on nonfixed instants of time is considered. Features of this problem are discussed from the viewpoint of the extension of the classical optimal control problem with the corresponding state constraints. A necessary optimality condition is formulated in the form of a smooth maximum principle; thorough comments are given, a short proof is presented, and examples are discussed.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to the development of the canonical theory of the Hamilton–Jacobi optimality for nonlinear dynamical systems with controls of the vector measure type and with trajectories of bounded variation. Infinitesimal conditions of the strong and weak monotonicity of continuous Lyapunov-type functions with respect to the impulsive dynamical system are formulated. Necessary and sufficient conditions of the global optimality for the problem of the optimal impulsive control with general end restrictions are represented. The conditions include the sets of weak and strong monotone Lyapunov-type functions and are based on the reduction of the original problem of the optimal impulsive control a finite-dimensional optimization problem on an estimated set of connectable points.  相似文献

In this paper, we present some new properties of the Mitra‐Wan forestry model written as a discrete‐time optimal control problem. For this problem, the set of stationary states is characterized. For the optimal long‐run management, we consider the following optimality criteria: average optimality, good control policies, bias optimality, and overtaking optimality. We establish relationships between these criteria and show that the value of average optimal policies is constant and equals the value in the optimal stationary state.  相似文献

We propose definitions of strong and weak monotonicity of Lyapunov-type functions for nonlinear impulsive dynamical systems that admit vector measures as controls and have trajectories of bounded variation. We formulate infinitesimal conditions for the strong and weak monotonicity in the form of systems of proximal Hamilton-Jacobi inequalities. As an application of strongly and weakly monotone Lyapunov-type functions, we consider estimates for integral funnels of impulsive systems as well as necessary and sufficient conditions of global optimality corresponding to the approach of the canonical Hamilton-Jacobi theory.  相似文献

The accurate computation of anharmonic vibrational states for medium to large molecules is a requirement for the detailed understanding of nonlinear multidimensional infrared spectra and the dynamical information encoded in them. The vibrational configuration interaction (VCI) method constitutes a particularly promising tool in this respect. It is generally hampered though by its unfavorable scaling with respect to system size. We analyze the scaling behavior of several well‐known as well as some new approximate VCI schemes in detail, which are complementary to the class of configuration selection schemes developed recently. We find that the combination of a configuration space partitioning, possibly based on configuration selection, with energetic thresholding and resonance screening provides an efficient scheme for the reduction of computational effort involved in VCI calculations while at the same time maintaining sufficient accuracy for the vibrational energies. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献
