A crossing between the asymptotic expansion of an oscillatory integral and Filon-type methods is obtained by applying a Filon-type
method to the error term in the asymptotic expansion, which is in itself an oscillatory integral. The efficiency of the approach
is investigated through analysis and numerical experiments, revealing a method which in many cases performs better than the
Filon-type method. It is shown that considerable savings in terms of the required number of potentially expensive moments
can be expected. The case of multivariate oscillatory integrals is discussed briefly.

A new stochastic efficiency analysis approach, called stochastic efficiency with respect to a function (SERF), is applied to analyse optimal tree replanting on an area of recently harvested forest land. SERF partitions a set of risky alternative tree replanting strategies in terms of certainty equivalents (CEs) for a specified range of attitudes to risk. Both the entailed risk and the forest owner’s risk aversion are taken into account. The forest owner’s degree of risk aversion affects both the optimal tree replacement strategy and the reinvestment decision. The degree of risk aversion also needs to be taken into account when designing policy measures to affect forest investment. 相似文献

A new diiodine substituted IDA derivative, 2,4-diiodine-6-methyl IDA (DIIODIDA) was synthesized and labeled with99mTc. It was established that99mTc-DIIODIDA had high radiochemical purity. Biodistribution and influence of bilirubin on99mTc-DIIODIDA biokinetics has been studied in rats and compared to the corresponding results for99mTc-SOLCOIODIDA. Related to99mTc-SOLCOIODIDA,99mTc-DIIODIDA has much better biliary exretion (55.18 versus 43.63%). No change of99mTc-DIIODIDA biokinetics, under influence of bilirubin was noticed. Biliary excretion of99mTc-SOLCOIODIDA has been reduced for about 60%. The protein binding of99mTc-DIIODIDA and99mTc-SOLCOIODIDA were also determined, using in vitro method of precipitation. These results showed that99mTc-DIIODIDA hepatobiliary imaging agent is superior to the presently used99mTc-monoiodine IDA derivatives. 相似文献

Proper consistency is defined by the property that each player takes all opponent strategies into account (is cautious) and deems one opponent strategy to be infinitely more likely than another if the opponent prefers the one to the other (respects preferences). When there is common certain belief of proper consistency, a most preferred strategy is properly rationalizable. Any strategy used with positive probability in a proper equilibrium is properly rationalizable. Only strategies that lead
to the backward induction outcome are properly rationalizable in the strategic form of a generic perfect information game.
Proper rationalizability can test the robustness of inductive procedures.

For the problem of edge diffraction from an edge of finite length a frequency-domain solution, obtained from an analytical time-domain solution, has been presented by Svensson et al. [Acta. Acust. Acust. 95, 568-572]. This formulation takes the form of a Fourier-type integral whose evaluation is expensive in the high frequency range. This paper demonstrates that by using tailored highly oscillatory quadrature methods based on asymptotic properties of the integral, accurate approximations in the high frequency case can be obtained with little computational effort. 相似文献

We propose a variant of the numerical method of steepest descent for oscillatory integrals by using a low-cost explicit polynomial
approximation of the paths of steepest descent. A loss of asymptotic order is observed, but in the most relevant cases the
overall asymptotic order remains higher than a truncated asymptotic expansion at similar computational effort. Theoretical
