Our purpose is to give necessary and sufficient conditions for continuity, on Besov spaces \(\dot B_p^{s,q} \) , of singular integral operators whose kernels satisfy: $$|\partial _x^\alpha K(x, y)| \leqslant C_\alpha |x - y|^{ - n - |\alpha |} for|\alpha | \leqslant m,$$ where m ∈ ? and 0 < s < m. The criterion is compared to the M.Meyer theorem [11] where 0 _p ^s,q spaces for s?1. For 0 _p ^s,p space is characterized by the localization and by Besov-capacity. In particular we show that the BMO ₁ ^s,1 space is characterized by generalized Carleson conditions.     

Study of J/Ψ three-body decays involving baryons and a pseudoscalar meson in the diquark model

The J/Ψ decay into a baryon pair and a pseudoscalar meson is computed, for some channels, in lowest order in perturbative QCD, modeling the baryon with a quark-diquark system. We use a set of parameters that has been proposed by some authors in order to fit the proton magnetic form factor G _M ^P, the angular distribution of protons in the processes γγ → pp?, γp → γp and the width of η_c → γγ.     

Proper holomorphic mappings and related automorphism groups

In this note we determine the automorphism group of complex manifolds which are proper images of a simply connected strictly pseudoconvex domain in ?ⁿ. We also investigate automorphisms of domains invariant under a compact subgroup of complex linear transformations. Furthermore, some regularity and rigidity properties of proper holomorphic mappings are established. In particular we solve a question raised by Hahn and Pflug regarding the nonexistence of proper holomorphic mappings between the euclidian ball and the complex minimal ball of ?ⁿ.     

Hankel operators with unbounded symbols

We prove that there are holomorphic functions in the Hardy space of the unit ball or the bidisc such that the big Hankel operator with symbol is bounded and for any holomorphic function the function cannot be bounded.

     

The Effect of Wall Material Type on the Encapsulation Efficiency and Oxidative Stability of Fish Oils

Fish oil is the primary source of long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, which are important nutrients that assist in the prevention and treatment of heart disease and have many health benefits. It also contains vitamins that are lipid-soluble, such as vitamins A and D. This work aimed to determine how the wall material composition influenced the encapsulation efficiency and oxidative stability of omega fish oils in spray-dried microcapsules. In this study, mackerel, sardine waste oil, and sand smelt fish oil were encapsulated in three different wall materials (whey protein, gum Arabic (AG), and maltodextrin) by conventional spray-drying. The effect of the different wall materials on the encapsulation efficiency (EE), flowability, and oxidative stability of encapsulated oils during storage at 4 °C was investigated. All three encapsulating agents provided a highly protective effect against the oxidative deterioration of the encapsulated oils. Whey protein was found to be the most effective encapsulated agent comparing to gum Arabic and maltodextrin. The results indicated that whey protein recorded the highest encapsulation efficiency compared to the gum Arabic and maltodextrin in all encapsulated samples with EE of 71.71%, 68.61%, and 64.71% for sand smelt, mackerel, and sardine oil, respectively. Unencapsulated fish oil samples (control) recorded peroxide values (PV) of 33.19, 40.64, and 47.76 meq/kg oil for sand smelt, mackerel, and sardine oils after 35 days of storage, while all the encapsulated samples showed PV less than 10 in the same storage period. It could be concluded that all the encapsulating agents provided a protective effect to the encapsulated fish oil and elongated the shelf life of it comparing to the untreated oil sample (control). The results suggest that encapsulation of fish oil is beneficial for its oxidative stability and its uses in the production of functional foods.     

Regularizing effects of some lower order terms in non-uniformly nonlinear elliptic equations

We consider the Dirichlet problem for a class of strongly nonlinear elliptic equations with degenerate coercivity and data in divergence form. We show that some lower order terms have regularizing effects on solutions.     

Harmonic functions associated to Dunkl operators

We prove some potential theoretical properties of harmonic functions associated to Dunkl operators. We solve the corresponding Dirichlet problem and establish the related Harnack principle and normality criteria.
