Substoichiometric amorphous thin films of MoO3 in both the transparent and absorptive forms have been studied by X-ray electron spectroscopy. The transparent films can be colored blue (absorptive) electrically or by UV irradiation. The electron distribution curve of the blue film exhibits a small band near the Fermi edge which is absent in the transparent sample. This new band is attributed to electrons trapped in positively charged anion vacancies in the substoichiometric MoO3 lattice. This model provides an interpretation of the electrical conductivity and color of the films. 相似文献

We consider the scattering of plane, time-harmonic electromagnetic waves by a perfect conductor D. We first show that the set ?λ consisting of the span of a fixed linear combination of the electric and magnetic far-field patterns is dense in the space of square-integrable tangential vector fields defined on the unit sphere for all values of the wave number k ≠ 0 provided that Im k ≥0. We next consider the affine hull ??λ of ?λ and characterize the set ? in terms of electric Herglotz fields. Herein, we describe an isothermal proximity CRISPR Cas12a assay that harnesses the target-induced indiscrimitive single-stranded DNase activity of Cas12a for the quantitative profiling of gene expression at the mRNA level and detection of proteins with high sensitivity and specificity. The target recognition is achieved through proximity binding rather than recognition by CRISPR RNA (crRNA), which allows for flexible assay design. A binding-induced primer extension reaction is used to generate a predesigned CRISPR-targetable sequence as a barcode for further signal amplification. Through this dual amplification protocol, we were able to detect as low as 1 fM target nucleic acid and 100 fM target protein isothermally. The purpose of this study was to observe and document variations in configuration and movement of the lower vocal tract and selected laryngeal structures in a sample of normal speakers. Ten men and ten women, ranging in age from 21 to 33 years, judged to have normal voices, were examined fiber-optically. Each subject engaged in a set protocol of phonatory and nonphonatory tasks and all examinations were videotaped. Judges reviewed these recordings with special attention to the following structures: pharyngeal wall, epiglottis, pyriform sinuses, ventricular folds, true vocal folds and the arytenoid complex. Spectral- and cepstral-based acoustic measures are preferable to time-based measures for accurately representing dysphonic voices during continuous speech. Although these measures show promising relationships to perceptual voice quality ratings, less is known regarding their ability to differentiate normal from dysphonic voice during continuous speech and the consistency of these measures across multiple utterances by the same speaker. The purpose of this study was to determine whether spectral moments of the long-term average spectrum (LTAS) (spectral mean, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis) and cepstral peak prominence measures were significantly different for speakers with and without voice disorders when assessed during continuous speech. The consistency of these measures within a speaker across utterances was also addressed. Continuous speech samples from 27 subjects without voice disorders and 27 subjects with mixed voice disorders were acoustically analyzed. In addition, voice samples were perceptually rated for overall severity. Acoustic analyses were performed on three continuous speech stimuli from a reading passage: two full sentences and one constituent phrase. Significant between-group differences were found for both cepstral measures and three LTAS measures (P < 0.001): spectral mean, skewness, and kurtosis. These five measures also showed moderate to strong correlations to overall voice severity. Furthermore, high degrees of within-speaker consistency (correlation coefficients ≥0.89) across utterances with varying length and phonemic content were evidenced for both subject groups. 相似文献
