An inverse problem for pseudoparabolic equation of filtration: the stabilization

In this article, the properties of the solution to the inverse problem on the identification of the leading coefficient of the multi-dimensional pseudoparabolic equation are studied. The stabilization of its strong solution to the solution of the inverse problem for an elliptic equation is established.     

Identification of a coefficient in the leading term of a pseudoparabolic equation of filtration

The identification problem of a leading coefficient in a linear pseudoparabolic equation is examined under an integral overdetermination condition on the boundary of a domain. We prove a local existence and uniqueness theorem of a strong solution. In a particular case the results obtained allow us to solve a problem of determining the rate of fluid exchange between fissures and pores in a model filtration equation for a fissured medium.     

Inverse problem for a pseudoparabolic equation with integral overdetermination conditions

We consider inverse problems of finding an unknown coefficient in the leading term of a linear pseudoparabolic equation of filtration type on the basis of integral data over the entire boundary or its part under the assumption that the unknown coefficient depends on time. We derive conditions for the time-global solvability and uniqueness of the solution of the inverse problem.
