The double bond of cholesteryl and 5-norbornen-2-yl tosylates and the cyclopropane ring of cyclopropylmethylcarbinyl tosylate participate in organocuprate substitution reactions; retention of configuration at the nucleofugal sp3-C atom and skeletal reorganizations are observed. A plausible mechanism for these reactions is discussed. Coupling of homogeranyl iodide with a four-carbon, functionalized, vinylic cuprate reagent is applied to stereospecific synthesis of trans, trans-farnesol. 相似文献

Differential measurements of elliptic flow (v2) for Au+Au and Cu+Cu collisions at sqrt[sNN]=200 GeV are used to test and validate predictions from perfect fluid hydrodynamics for scaling of v2 with eccentricity, system size, and transverse kinetic energy (KE T). For KE T identical with mT-m up to approximately 1 GeV the scaling is compatible with hydrodynamic expansion of a thermalized fluid. For large values of KE T mesons and baryons scale separately. Quark number scaling reveals a universal scaling of v2 for both mesons and baryons over the full KE T range for Au+Au. For Au+Au and Cu+Cu the scaling is more pronounced in terms of KE T, rather than transverse momentum. 相似文献

Comprehensive temperature scans of the resistivity of a high-quality sample of PrNiO3 were made under different pressures up to 30 kbar; they have revealed that the insulator phase is suppressed completely at P approximately equal to 13 kbar, transforming to a non-Fermi-liquid phase in which the resistivity varies as Deltarho=rho(T)-rho(0) approximately T(n) with n=1.33 and 1.60 over a broad pressure range. 相似文献

Lattice parameters of the orthorhombic perovskites RMO3 (R=rare earth, M=Ti, V, ..., Ni, and Ga) have been simulated based on the ionic M-O bond length and rigid MO6/2 octahedra. Comparison with experimental data shows that the long-standing lattice-parameter anomaly generally found for the larger R3+ ions in these families is caused by a structural feature that is not revealed by the geometric tolerance factor widely used for the perovskites. 相似文献

We report on a new measurement of the parity-violating asymmetry in quasielastic electron scattering from the deuteron at backward angles at Q2=0.038 (GeV/c)2. This quantity provides a determination of the neutral weak axial vector form factor of the nucleon, which can potentially receive large electroweak corrections. The measured asymmetry A=-3.51+/-0.57 (stat)+/-0.58 (syst) ppm is consistent with theoretical predictions. We also report on updated results of the previous experiment at Q2=0.091 (GeV/c)2, which are also consistent with theoretical predictions. 相似文献

Electronic structures of RTe2 (R=La,Ce) have been investigated by using the local spin density approximation (LSDA) and the LSDA + U (U: on-site Coulomb interaction) band methods. Both LaTe2 and CeTe2 show the very similar Fermi surface nesting features along the [100] direction, which drive the charge-density wave (CDW) instability in the Te(1) sheets. The contribution near E(F) from Ce 4f states is negligible in agreement with the measured ARPES spectra. In the semimetallic CDW-distorted RTe2, both Te vacancy and pressure induce the charge transfer from Te(1) 5p to R 5d states, producing the enhanced density of states at E(F). We suggest that these increased self-doped Te(1) 5p hole carriers are responsible for the pressure-induced superconductivity in nonstoichiometric CeTe1.82. 相似文献

Event-by-event fluctuations of the average transverse momentum of produced particles near midrapidity have been measured by the PHENIX Collaboration in square root of (sNN)=200 GeV Au+Au, and p+p collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The fluctuations are observed to be in excess of the expectation for statistically independent particle emission for all centralities. The excess fluctuations exhibit a dependence on both the centrality of the collision and on the pT range over which the average is calculated. Both the centrality and pT dependence can be well reproduced by a simulation of random particle production with the addition of contributions from hard-scattering processes. 相似文献

The anisotropy parameter (v(2)), the second harmonic of the azimuthal particle distribution, has been measured with the PHENIX detector in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s(NN)]=200 GeV for identified and inclusive charged particle production at central rapidities (|eta|<0.35) with respect to the reaction plane defined at high rapidities (|eta|=3-4 ). We observe that the v(2) of mesons falls below that of (anti)baryons for p(T)>2 GeV/c, in marked contrast to the predictions of a hydrodynamical model. A quark-coalescence model is also investigated. 相似文献
