Twisted Semigroup Crossed Products and Twisted Toeplitz Algebras of Ordered Groups

Let г^＋ be the positive cone of a totally ordered abelian group г, and σa cocycle in г. We study the twisted crossed products by actions of г＋ as endomorphisms of C^＊-algebras, and use this to generalize the theorem of Ji.

Real clifford windowed Fourier transform

We study the windowed Fourier transform in the framework of Clifford analysis, which we call the Clifford windowed Fourier transform (CWFT). Based on the spectral representation of the Clifford Fourier transform (CFT), we derive several important properties such as shift, modulation, reconstruction formula, orthogonality relation, isometry, and reproducing kernel. We also present an example to show the differences between the classical windowed Fourier transform (WFT) and the CWFT. Finally, as an application we establish a Heisenberg type uncertainty principle for the CWFT.     

An index theorem for Toeplitz operators on totally ordered groups

We show that for every totally ordered group and invertible function which does not have a logarithm, there is a representation in which the Toeplitz operator is a Breuer-Fredholm operator with nonzero index; this representation is the GNS-representation associated to a natural unbounded trace on the Toeplitz algebra .

     

A with-in host Dengue infection model with immune response

A model of viral infection of monocytes population by Dengue virus is formulated here. The model can capture phenomena that dengue virus is quickly cleared in approximately 7 days after the onset of the symptoms. The model takes into account the immune response. It is shown that the quantity of free virus is decreasing when the viral invasion rate is increasing. The basic reproduction ratio of model without immune response is reduced significantly by adding the immune response. Numerical simulations indicate that the growth of immune response and the invasion rate are very crucial in identification of the intensity of infection.     

Clifford Algebra-Valued Wavelet Transform on Multivector Fields

This paper presents a construction of the n = 2 (mod 4) Clifford algebra Cl _n,0-valued admissible wavelet transform using the admissible similitude group SIM(n), a subgroup of the affine group of \mathbbRⁿ{\mathbb{R}^{n}} . We express the admissibility condition in terms of the Cl _n,0 Clifford Fourier transform (CFT). We show that its fundamental properties such as inner product, norm relation, and inversion formula can be established whenever the Clifford admissible wavelet satisfies a particular admissibility condition. As an application we derive a Heisenberg type uncertainty principle for the Clifford algebra Cl _n,0-valued admissible wavelet transform. Finally, we provide some basic examples of these extended wavelets such as Clifford Morlet wavelets and Clifford Hermite wavelets.
